Misleading customers
Charter Bank can not be trusted.I opened up fixed rate cash ISA at 4.45%. Just checked my first statement. Charter bank changed the rate to 4.14% I am reporting this bank to the Financial Conduct Authority. In the future I am closing all my saving accounts because I can not trust this bank or the staff who are misleading customers.

Excellent customer service from Makmalie
A couple of weeks ago I applied for a fixed rate cash ISA with Charter Savings Bank and the process was not straightforward due to errors at their end. However, my account was finally opened and I noticed Charter Savings Bank were offering a new fixed rate cash ISA at a higher rate of interest. Fortunately, I got to spoke with Makmalie who dealt with my query patiently and efficiently and helped me to open the new account right away with the higher rate of interest for which I am grateful. Thank you Makmalie.

Easy to navigate their website to invest
I’ve been aware of Charter for quite a while now helping my mother to invest with them before she died. Company also mentioned on various investment advice sites too. Found it very easy to set the account up, excellent savings rates, easy to transfer money in and out and monitor the account as well. Thoroughly recommended.

Very good interest rate & great service
Very good interest rate. Helpline was quick to got through to, staff were proffessional and friendly. Opening the account was easy as was subsequent bank transfer to it. Eveything I needed.

Setting up this account was basically straight forward, had no problems understanding the on line form. I’m pleased with how easy everything was.

Easy to set up and use
I'm not particularly good with technology but creating an account and depositing money was refreshingly easy and straight forward. I would definately recommend them, they were a Which best buy and the interest on the ISA I chose was good.

You really need a phone app. Not everyone wants to use a PC. The lack of an app is probably a deal breaker when it come to future investments.

I opened a EASY ACCESS ACCOUNT on 5th…
I opened a EASY ACCESS ACCOUNT on 5th April it is now the 20th April and I am still waiting for an access code ( the 5th attempt) so that I can get money out of my account. Not EASY ACCESS at all. Ironically as it’s taken so long I found I much better ISA offering a higher interest rate and that’s where my money has ended up?
