Terrible, signed me up for a £39 monthly subscription without my knowledge and won’t refund the money.

Again like others I thought I was purchasing a discounted game, didn't realise I'd been added to a monthly subscription of £39.00. I've contacted them and they're stating I agreed to the membership. This isn't something I agreed to. I've contacted my credit card company and added them to a 'Stop List'. Now to see if I can claim the money back.

It seems that I am not the only one to buy a game key in good faith, only to find themselves charged £39 for a ‘membership’ they hadn’t knowingly agreed to. This is sharp practice.

I have asked for a refund and if I don’t get it, I will instruct my bank to block Gamemore forever. This is not the way to run a business and expect to keep customers. Buyer beware.

UPDATE: After a little email back and forth, Gamemore has refunded the £39. So I have uprated them accordingly.

Ordered code for far cry 5, and I received it in my email after approx. 15 seconds. I highly recommend the site.

I am after FM2020 as my version (retail boxed) has stopped working. I chose this Site because it had the cheapest version. I have been around the block a few times and I trust my instincts, so decided to find out more before purchasing. I was also not sure if I would be getting an English version, as I received an automated reply to my question in Dutch when I asked the Site a question. Now I am reading all the reviews for the Site and it has put me off for life! One or two bad ones is understandable, as things can go wrong and as long as they are rectified, that is fine with me, but when I read 20 bad ones to one good one, it is time to cut and run...especially when I have not yet received an answer to my question and if this is what it is like "before" I part with my money, imagine what it is going to be like once I have. Its a shame, as their prices are great! But at what cost to the buyer I wonder. There is an old saying "if it is too good to be true, it probably is." I fear that could be the case here...yes, a real shame.

This site is a scam they gave nothing, and I am still waiting for a refund or a cd key for almost a month now. I doubt these 5 star reviews are coming from real customers.

Received my code the FM21 straight away and worked, emailed and cancelled membership the next day and they will took £39 from my bank leaving me with nothing. No email received to say the money was being taken although it shouldn't have, emailed gamemore for a refund. Your request (8279) has been received by our support staff. Still awaiting email from them after 2 days

Purchased Football Manager for £22 last month and have now been swindled and had £39.00 taken out of my account.

Despite contacting their support 3 days ago for an explanation I am still to receive a response or a refund!

Never received my key after 2 weeks - proceeded to ask for a refund which hasn't happened and have instead been double charged. I would avoid this company for now.

**Update 7th March**
Following some emails to the company, and an initial refusal to refund, Gamemore agreed to refund me the charge for the membership I had no idea I had taken out. They did this via a Bank Transfer and the money arrived immediately.
I advised them that they need to be much more transparent to visitors to their site, and I see they have now at least added a popup on the UK site, but I suggested they need to be much more explicit that people are signing up to a membership and that people should agree to a membership fee when they make their initial purchase. That feedback has been forwarded to the website team.
I have therefore revised their rating from 1 to 3, and would warn prospective users of the site to check very carefully before purchase and to understand that you are signing up for a membership when you make a purchase.
As an aside and in reply to the merchants comment, when I purchased the original game there was no agreement to accept any membership. I think this might have been added to the site since my purchase, but I would still say that the structure of warning and the sign up process are far from transparent and should be much clearer.

SCAM. I bought a game and they automatically enrolled me in a membership without telling me at any point during the purchase process.
They then said that an email would be sent 7 days before the initial charge. Funnily enough all emails from the company go to my inbox fine, but the email they claim to have sent about the charge was never received in my inbox or my spam folder.
I have demanded a refund and will raise a dispute with my credit card company if they do not refund me and I will also be reporting their website and business practice to relevant trading standards officials in the UK and Denmark. This kind of shoddy underhand business practice is disgusting.

SCAM, You click on register and they take 300SEK every month from you without you understanding that. A horrible store.
