Lovely building with impressive dining…
Lovely building with impressive dining room and reception rooms. Located in a nice park with paths down to the sea. On the site is also Fuglsang Art Museum - a great little museum of Danish artists.
BUT the hotel is badly run and unprofessional. We had booked a double room and was given a room with a double bed. However there were one duvee and one pillow and one bath towel. There room was large and furnished with period furniture. However again the furniture was slightly damaged and seemed to have been purchased at a garage sale. Also there were visible water stains on the wall paper.
We ate dinner and breakfast there. The food was OK but not spectacular.
Our waiter was a friendly and helpful and I am positive of him. But he was a little bit untrained and barely spoke Danish and not English. As I said, attentive and service oriented, but not professional.
Overall not quite the price paid.
