I had windows and doors fitted a few months ago. First of all, they fitted the wrong top windows and have refused to change them because it would "cost too much" so my house looks stupid. Second of all, they fitted the wrong back door and refused to change it because it would "cost too much". I spoke to several people to try to sort out getting the windows and doors that I chose but they all spoke to me extremely rude and blamed everything on me, the issue with that is that the woman that came to sell me the windows and doors was an office employee because the sales rep had COVID so she promised me everything and said everything would be sorted, but it wasn't because nobody ever communicates with each other to sort stuff out! Third of all, within days of them being fitted, my back door broke and it took weeks for them to come out and fix it, fourth of all, several windows in my home and also my back door are now not functioning properly so cannot be opened and closed properly. I've called and emailed many times over the last couple of months with as much information and as much proof as humanly possible, such as, photos, videos, a running commentary in the videos to explain what the issues are, etc, to show them what the problems are but no one is bothering to come out and look at what the problems are and nobody has arranged for someone to come out and fix them. This has been going on for months now and they still haven't been fixed and now even more stuff is broken like window handles from my windows not opening and closing properly. I am expected to pay £20k for faulty windows and doors!! My house insurance is invalid due to the faulty windows and doors so if anything happens to my house, like getting burgled, setting on fire, etc, it will be future renovations that I will be suing for leaving me with faulty windows and doors for months. This is ridiculous and absolutely disgusting behaviours. I will now be contacting trading standards because the quality of windows and doors are terrible considering what I was promised and the communication is appalling.Every single window and door will end up needing to be replaced and I should not have to live with this utter trash but now I have no money to get a different company to fit me new windows and doors instead of this flimsy rubbish. I wish I had gone to safe style UK like I did in my last home because their products and their customer care team were so much more superior then future renovations! #AVOID #AVOIDATALLCOSTS!

Very happy with the quality of the windows and fitting.

Terrible company. AVOID at all costs. Better to pay abit more and go to a more professional company. After writing a few bad reviews. I finally had a response. Had them come out and do half a repair and not heard anything back. Excuses given all the time and my front door completely fallen apart. Shouldn’t be allowed to trade.

As a first time buyer desperately needing new windows I decided on FR, boy am I glad I did!

They did a beautiful, tidy and professional job! The work that Kyle and Ricky did was phenomenal, turning my new house into a lovely home.

Two years down the line and still the job is a catastrophe French doors don’t shut correctly the frame looks like Swiss cheese there’s that many holes in it ,seals have been drilled through and according to fensa it doesn’t meet building standard’s and also according to fensa this company have been suspended on numerous occasions from there books for not meeting there standard other doors and frames not sealed properly and even after being subjected to abusive calls phone calls we allowed them back to rectify but instead of wanting to put things right they have decided not to honour there contract .

They did what they said and on time to nice guy got on with job finished and the work was spot on excellent will use them again .

Honestly.. I had my doubts.
I had booked future renovations before reading the reviews.
After giving a deposit my worries increased and I began searching online for reviews.
A lot of the reviews online were negative and I felt the urge to pull out from sale.

I am so happy we didn’t.

I looked over the contract in evaluation beside the negative reviews and concluded that we are safe to proceed as all worries were covered in the contract.

I feel as though the bad press made the sales man nervous as I was probably not the only customer to want to pull out and maybe others had not been as patient to see the great outcome.
Although the sales man seemed nervous the surveyor was very experienced and was quick to measure up.

We also called and asked about matters we were unclear on. The staff remained respectful and were not disheartened by our doubts. Gave clear answers to our enquiries and were not pushy to proceed until we were confident to go ahead.

The windows took a while after the survey to be installed but that was due to agreed time availability and workmen availability.

It is definitely worth the wait.
The team worked very well and did not leave any mess behind.

We are happy with our renovation, it took 2 days in total to complete the full house.

Absolutely brilliant and thank you once again you have restored faith in mankind with such a great finish.

The installers had a friendly approach, careful preparation, consistent labouring (no idleness). Pleasant communication, very tidy, properly installed windows with neat finishing. They gave instructions on how to operate and clean the windows. All in considerable good timing.

My new windows are a delight. Jack and his efficient installation team were a pleasure. Sue was my go-to person who found answers to my questions and kept in touch with me

Did an excellent job. Very quick and very tidy.

Very good experience throughout. Was receptive to the disputation and broke the installation into two stages for me to allow other works to occur in the house which was needed before the second phase could be installed. Everything was installed perfectly and to a very good standard. Great company and would definitely recommend to anybody.

Great customer service!

Very nice and polite customer service. My original quote had some minor issues and they were swift to find a solution to the issues. Sammi in customer service was very helpful and explained everything is detail about the remedial issues that were picked by their quality checking. Sammi promptly offered me with alternative solution. My fit was carried out by professional fit team.

Overall great experience and would definitely recommend.

I am very upset because it’s been 3 weeks since I emailed them saying I would like my deposit back and still no reply. I’ve been ringing them Monday to Friday and all they say is we are processioning the refund which doesn’t seem to be happening. Very poor customer service, when they say they will get back to you they never. Imagine how many people must have given deposits and never got it refunded. Something needs to be fone.

Well , I'm halfway through my installation and I couldn't be more pleased. The fitters couldn't do enough. Their standard of work is exceptional . I will and have recommended them on to my sister.
I only paid for a surveyors charge upfront. I'll pay the balance on completion today .Thankyou for an excellent job .

The one you all wanted!...

Future were FORCED to repay our £1,400 deposit.

Following a harrowing 4 hours in which a Future Rep bored the pants off us, we paid a £1,400 deposit - no biggie at the time, it would come back if we cancelled.

WRONG!!!

This company doesn't play by the rules. They don't REFUND (allegedly), even though their contract clearly states the guidelines and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives credence.

Ergo, you need to fight (or simply don't fall into the trap).

49 weeks it has taken for us to get our money back. We used our home insurance legal expenses policy, so for £25, which we pay anyway, we have achieved a full refund.

IT HASN'T COST US A PENNY.

The fact that the company is acting illegally is not really in doubt anymore.

The names of the office staff listed we can back up with emails received (finally) and these individuals need to be held to be complicit in these dealings.

They make grasping attempts for sums such as £150 and really should be embarrassed - anyone with a conscience would have quit long ago. We were offered a settlement of £1,250 based on the fact a rep had come out - no obligation, free consultation, anyone? £150 for what?

Some tips, which have been discovered along the way:-

Any claim must be made against HORIZON EXECUTIVES LTD t/a Future Renovations UK

If the contract was signed in joint names, any claim also needs to be in joint names.

TrustPilot - it's all gone very quiet and presumably that is because Future staff are no longer employed to place fake reviews. Or, perhaps, in the real world, 5* is simply not attainable for this sham of a company. Trustpilot has not appeared to represent an accurate version of events - recently, customers with a USA or Canada base were awarding 5* for a Bradford company completing home improvements?! Go figure.

The law is closing in and unfortunately, if you seek redress, it doesn't look like (Companies House) Future (Horizon) carry enough liquid assets to appease everyone.

If you have already been conned -

i) As a Finance customer approach the FCA. We already know that the Grant advertising is under false pretences.
ii) Seek redress through the Small Claims Court using the info above. Regardless of the deadline you give Future to pay, Pre-Action Court Protocol gives them 3 months. Be prepared to wait.
iii) Don't fall for the online terms and conditions scam - they either don't exist or are so hard to locate that no court in the land will find them viable.

We know that this is in the wrong place, but the main advice has to be:-

DON'T USE FUTURE RENOVATIONS UK LTD in their current form - deceitful, dishonest, corrupt, scamming, PLAUSIBLE (don't fall for it).

Wishing luck to all of the previous recipients out there who have been ripped off by this company. It is not a nice place to be in and you all deserve better. The only PROMISING outlook to be offered is that this company has been so bad, that any action by Trading Standards will involve them seeking to return your monies due to the criminal proceedings by enforcement. The downside is that the money simply isn't there for everyone.

Best of luck to all claimants - you likely have a legitimate case and Future will fail to engage whether it is or it isn't. That seems to be their way.

Let them argue with this review of genuine customers!

Even though our case has been settled, the intention has to remain, for the benefit of potential customers, to run this firm to ground. Unchecked, they will (allegedly) rob and steal, attempt to change contract T&Cs, and continue to dishonour both their industry and the goodwill of decent Yorkshire people.

Trustpilot and Google reviews seem to have been hijacked by insincere clones, so take back the initiative and rate this company where it belongs.

Those genuine customers among us know this company's value, so treat them just so. Wipe your feet clean...

I was a little worried at first due to some of the reviews
But I decided to judge on my experience and boy am I glad I did
This company really cares about its customers
The guy that came to see us first was super nice and nothing was too much trouble
Helped us make our own choices without ever putting us under any pressure to pick a certain style or design.
Next came the surveyor who again was extremely polite and professional
The office kept me fully updated on our order
And in just over 4 weeks 6 new white windows were installed
The fitters were great and really looked after our home like it was there own

I can't recommend them enough

Phone up originally for a quote but ended up ordering on the spot. The sales team were extremely helpful with my requests and needs. The quote i was provided was spot on and well within my budget range. Fitters were out a month later which was agreed upon and came on time with a pleasant attitude towards the tasks at hand. Can't fault the team over at future renovations any questions or queries i had they were more than delighted to answer them. Keep up the good work future ill be recommending to all my family and friends.
