I liked that tour was not overloaded with unnecessary details, like dates of foundation or something. It was with a bit of humour, light and easy, but at the same time quite extensive with knowledge about the city received.

Local guide, fascinating tour.
Our guide was local, knowledgeable and took us to places we would have missed on our own and told us fascinating snippets of information about the history and culture as we went along.
The only negative aspect was feeling obliged to make some ( rather overpriced, we felt ) purchases from a herbal store we were taken to.
All told though, a good tour

That said, being taken to a shop where purchases feel expected is something Freetour.com takes seriously. Tours should never put travelers in that uncomfortable position, and this feedback helps us address it. Thank you for being honest about both sides.
Very irritating company
We were looking forward to our walking tour of Chisinau but the guide cancelled on the morning of the tour due to sickness. A shame but no problem - these things happen. In fact the guide went to some effort to make sure that we didn't turn up.
All was well at this point.
The next contact was a request for a review. Followed by another one two days later. Irritating but these things are likely to be computer generated.
However it didn't stop there. The next communication was to tell us that our guide had said that we hadn't turned up and they wanted to know why. It was a tick box option which did not include 'because the guide cancelled'.. At this point I replied saying that the guide had cancelled and to please stop the emails.
Now I have had another email with a cheesy advert.
An extremely irritating company which I shall make sure to avoid in the future.

A must as an introduction of Dubrovnik
Marko, our guide, has majored in history and has lived in California so his English was perfect. He told us about the history of Dubrovnik and the surrounding area /countries from AD400 til now and showed us all the relevant landmarks. The pace & terrain was perfect for everyone. It was a great experience.

What I like about the free tours is…Commitment and versatility
What I like about the free tours is that the guides have to make it interesting in order to earn some payment at the end and this one really delivered. I've only been on two and both have been fantastic and informative, with the guide really working to make sure everybody has a great and informative trip
