FJ customer care fading
After so many years with FJ, I called today to discuss and renew my classic car insurance policy.
The attitude and tone of the person who answered the call was terrible nearing rude. Unacceptable behaviour for a company that used to be TOP for classic cars. She did her best to try to get rid of me and was totally uninterested to help me and find solutions to go ahead.
FJ, you need to look training your staff to be focused on customer service and not getting rid of your loyal customers

My experience with Footman James has been extremely disappointing, particularly when it came to handling what should have been a straightforward insurance claim.
From the beginning, communication was poor, updates were inconsistent, and I constantly found myself chasing for information rather than being proactively kept informed. What should have been resolved quickly turned into a drawn-out and stressful process due entirely to delays and lack of action on their side.
The most frustrating part was not just the delay itself, but the wider consequences their inaction created. Because the claim remained unresolved for so long, it negatively affected my position with other insurers. Ongoing unresolved claims can impact premiums, future policy applications, and how other insurers assess risk, and I have now had to deal with those consequences despite doing everything asked of me promptly and honestly.
Insurance companies are supposed to provide support and reassurance during difficult situations. Instead, I was left feeling ignored, stressed, and financially disadvantaged because of repeated delays and poor claims management.
What makes this even more disappointing is that Footman James Complaints Procedure states they aim to resolve complaints promptly and provide high standards of service. Unfortunately, my experience fell far below that expectation.
I would strongly urge anyone considering using Footman James to think carefully about how important responsive and effective claims handling is when choosing an insurer. A policy may look good on paper, but the true test of an insurance company is how they deal with a claim when you actually need them

Excellent company to deal with. I did a quote initially on the website and went on to make payment over the phone ! It's great to actually speak to a real person to be honest, who explained everything to me and I payed for the year there and then.
