Dear Fjorn, don't bury this review
Dear Fjorn. This will probably bi buried with all of the other reviews, but nevertheless....i think you could and should really improve some things, to grow some more.
First and foremost....you cannot send a 300$ jacket in a plastic bag...have you guys ever been to a delivery center...i have....do you think the people that work there, care, what's in a plastic bag that they bounce around the place?
The package was delivered to me in a patched up, been-to-war-like state.
I like your logo and your name. I like that right now, you're not mainstream. I have a jacket that not everyone has.
But my jacket has been bleeding feathers, more than my other jackets. Maybe that's something you could look into.
Also...the end of the sleeve is one whole bit, instead of the pattern of the stitching continuing all the way to the wrist. I prefer it to be all the same, not change the patterns ...maybe that's just me.
Also....i miss a chest pocket. Where do you guys put your phones??
The chest pocket is the closest and most practical to use.
I like your stuff...hope to buy some more.

We're sorry to hear your package arrived in poor condition. We’ve recently switched to compostable corn starch bags to reduce environmental impact, and we’ve made them thicker for larger items like down jackets to better protect them in transit. They should hold up well, so we’ll definitely look into what may have gone wrong here.
As for the jacket itself, a small amount of feather shedding can occur early on — we recommend gently feeding any loose feathers back inside to help close gaps in the fabric. It shouldn’t be excessive, so we’ll share this with our product team, especially as we’re currently redeveloping many of our down styles. Your feedback on the sleeve finish and chest pocket is also noted — that kind of design feedback is genuinely helpful as we develop future ranges.

Expensive jacket letting water through and not a year old
I purchased a fjern waterproof jacket less than a year ago and it has started to let water in. I contacted sports persuit where I purchased it and their reply was I need to buy a new waterproof agent and apply !!! The jacket retail price was above £200, I have older jackets that cost a fraction of the price, that I’m now using until I reapply the agent. Very disappointing fjern and sports persuit.

High-performance waterproof jackets use breathable membranes that allow moisture to escape while blocking external water. Over time, dirt, oils, and general wear can reduce the effectiveness of the DWR coating, causing water to soak into the outer fabric rather than bead off. This doesn’t mean the membrane has failed, but regular cleaning and reproofing are essential to maintain performance.

Impressed by women's brown leather walking boots…
The women's brown leather walking boots have been fantastic. I can't testify to longevity yet, but worn them for a 10km in Snowdonia without having the chance to break them in. They were very comfortable and feel really light. No rubbing or any issues. Impressed.

So far the products are great so I have no complaints about the quality, only the cost really.
Items ship as from Sports Pursuit which sold the same items for much cheaper that direct from Fjern. It would be nice to just see a consistent price but won't stop me from buying more product in future

Bought two very good quality items
Bought two very good quality items, one was a repeat purchase of a jacket in a different colour. The first purchase has been worn very many times and is my wife's go-to winter jacket. The second was a very helpful camping tool for fire starting with an integral whistle given to a hiking grandson.

Don’t bother buy RAB.
For the main part of the buying process great. But sent it back and tried to order it in a bigger size. This was the start of November and no sizes since. No information on when more stock will be in or anything. This is your own brand stuff!!! Absolutely rubbish customer backup. Winter will be gone by the time you’ve finished the fire sale of odd sizes! Bombard me with emails every day to try flog me xs or xl. Get your act together!

Expensive, but no credibility
Its an expensive brand without any credibilitty. They are new in the market, hardly 100 reviews but their pricing are jsut like the leading designer brand. A website called Sports pursuit sells the Fjern brand on 50% discount, but they are still expensive. I will NOT buy.
