Firebrand - Trainer, Support Team & Venue top $

Firebrand - is a great training organisation. Great venue for the course at the Cranfield Management Development Centre which fully catered for our training and social needs.
Exam centre based in Wyboston Lakes was a great location with a friendly team that helped put you at ease with clear instructions. Special thanks to Jack Sodhi for an outstanding week of PMP Certification Training and the Firebrand team for all your support along the journey. Definitely recommending to my network!!!

Disgusting and failed to deliver exam

Booked a residential course for a member of my team to become a Data Protection Officer. The course was delivered but the computers crashed on the Friday so after £3700 my staff member was sent home having been unable to take the exam, 4 further attempts were made to take the exam and eventually firebrand advised that they simply "couldnt deliver the exam". Ive been in dispute with VISA for 4 months over a refund of some kind. The course was in November and today is the 23rd April the following year. Today I am going to the small claims court ofr financial recompense.

I'm very sorry to learn about the difficulties you and your team member encountered during the residential Data Protection Course. It's completely understandable to feel frustrated by the computer crash, which unfortunately led to the inability to take the exam onsite, especially considering the investment of time and resources in the training. Dealing with disputes and delays in refunds can indeed be incredibly stressful, and I regret that you've had to endure this prolonged process.

I understand that the main challenges stemmed from attempting to take the exam remotely proctored with PECB and we have been in contact with them to investigate how and why the exam couldn't be taken. It is however, Firebrands name above the door so it's our responsibility to ensure the testing happens and I apologise that we couldn't achieve the resolution you were seeking. Rest assured, we remain committed to assisting your colleague in achieving certification. Please don't hesitate to reach out should circumstances change, as there's still a possibility to address this issue.

I'm aware that we've been in contact, but if there's anything further I can do to support you during this process or if you have any additional concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. Firebrand is by far the best training…

Firebrand is by far the best training provider I’ve ever used. I’ve already done 4 security courses with Firebrand and I’ve passed them all at a first attempt. Firebrand tutors are knowledgeable, approachable and provide a lot of practical examples when discussing each topics. The courses are very well organised and if you take a residential course, the accommodation and meals are also very good. Failure is not an option with Firebrand.

The training covers most of the modules…

The training covers most of the modules for Prince2 but it will be good to give more time for the training instead of using 2 days to cover 10 chapters of the manual.

Enriching Refresher Course for IT Professionals

I recently completed the online CISSP and ITIL 4 Foundation courses with Firebrand. The CISSP course, in particular, made a positive impression on me. It served as an excellent refresher, allowing me to revisit and reinforce the knowledge I've accumulated throughout my career in IT.

Firebrand proved to be a helpful partner, not just in the quality of their training but also in their willingness to provide support for any additional questions I had. This combination of thorough content and personal support made my learning experience valuable.

ITILv4 Foundations from Firebrand was…

ITILv4 Foundations from Firebrand was an awesome training. Our trainer was very knowledgeable, could make the course interesting and still teach us a lot. It was not difficult to pass the exam afterwards. I chose the onsite course in Sint-Michielsgestel. The location, hotel, food, training room etc. - all was brilliant.

Very poor comms and organisation

Over the past 3 years I have had 2 apprentices go through L3 qualifications with Firebrand, and whilst both have passed, this was due to a significant amount of extra work by the learners or their line managers.

We chose firebrand for the in person provision, yet more than half of those sessions were pushed online or cancelled and rearranged at very short notice

On an 18 month program, 1 of the learners went through 3 mentors who all had a completely different way of doing things making life extremely difficult
Arranging professional exams was never straightforward and despite raising concerns with the mentors and account team, I have yet to see one improvement in the areas of weakness

As a final insult, the last learners certificate has been sent to a large multi-occupancy office block with no company name on the address despite very clearly asking for them to go directly to the learner

Thank you for taking the time to feedback on your Firebrand experience. The additionality in our learning programmes set us apart from other apprenticeship providers and by doing more and mastering the competencies beyond the mandatory requirements of the qualification, almost all Firebrand learners who take the independent assessment achieve.

Sometimes circumstances are beyond our control and we have to switch training or reschedule, we try to do this with the least impact on the learner and their employers, whilst also taking into account the milestones they need to hit in order to achieve their apprenticeship in a timely manner. If this has caused unnecessary disruption then we do apologise for this, we rarely cancel learning but by switching to online delivery it means that learners can still gain the necessary learning and are not adversely disadvantaged. We recognise that your preference is the residential classes at our training centre and we can explore how we better meet your needs in the future.

We have very low attrition in our staffing so we apologise that you have experienced multiple changes in your allocated mentor. Our standardisation ensures that all our mentors interpret the performance criteria of the qualification consistently, however, that said each and every learner is different and we do try to personalise the learning experience for each so that they tailor the programme to suit the learner and their needs. The improvements you have raised previously can be sent to me directly to look into at Quality@FirebrandTraining.com and I would very much like to arrange a call at your earliest convenience to discuss the other points raised. We are deeply committed to improving the apprenticeship experience for all of our stakeholders.

Lastly, we can investigate why the awarding organisation have sent the certificate to an address other than that we have requested if you can contact me on the email address noted above and help with the details of the learner.

Again, we appreciate your feedback and we use this to help drive improvements across our apprenticeship offer.

Doing my training course on site with…

Doing my training course on site with firebrand was the perfect environment for me. I was in a way cut off from the distractions of the outside world so I could just solely focus on the course, the facilities had everything I need to learn and the staff were extremely helpful
