F-2-f Session was really helpful.

Would have been so hard to pass my exam without Firebrand. They brought my months of learning together and gave me the confidence I needed to walk in there and smash it.

Great trainer, content, classmates, and location.

Great accommodation and study facilities. The Firebrand team at De Ruwenberg were polite and helpful (as were all the hotel staff). The instructor was also excellent and obviously knew his subject (as well as many others).

A big slot of learning compressed into 3 days sounded daunting. But with extensive materials delivered in advance, on line copies and importantly a great tutor with energy and pace; we were engaged and learning despite the long days.

I was absolutly not pleased with the instruction or instructor. I felt unprepared for the exam. I have attended other Firebrand training before with other instructor, and was very pleased. But not so this time.

Firebrand provides very thorough training and an atmosphere that's easy to concentrate. I would definitely recommed them.

I had a training in a luxury hotel in a peaceful environment. The trainer is very skillful and knows how to keep the trainees involved.

I attended the 5-day Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course at Firebrand Training in the Netherlands twice, taking advantage of the school's offer to retake the course in case of exam failure. Regrettably, neither session met my expectations.

The course material was presented ineffectively and lacked coherence. Both instructors, including Peter Cox who led the course on my second attendance, seemed unprepared. Peter appeared to have experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies, but his teaching skills were subpar. Interaction with students was minimal, and he failed to address or adequately answer about 80% of the questions posed.

Time management during the course was also poor; the first three days were spent on overly detailed explanations with unnecessary examples, while the last two days rushed through slides in an inappropriate hurry, leaving no time for questions on the most substantial topics.

It is particularly disappointing that despite clear negative feedback from students about the November session last year, no improvements were made before the May session this year. Alarmingly, none of the twelve participants passed the exam after last year's training, despite the school advertising a 75% pass rate after the first 5-day course.

I am profoundly disappointed with my experience at Firebrand Training. I hope my feedback will be considered for future improvements to the course, ensuring better outcomes for future participants.

The instructors for the residential courses are superb. Their knowledge of their subjects is genuinely extraordinary and their use of humour makes the modules easier to digest and makes the long days on the courses easier to cope with. They make sure they understand our individual job roles and try to pitch the course content, where possible, so it is relevant to our jobs.
The reason I couldn't award more than 3 stars, though, is that in the months between the courses there are simply dozens of hours of videos from a 3rd-party website to watch in an entirely passive process, which is in no way helpful to embedding information in your memory, especially on new concepts which are often abstract and packed with new vocabulary and a sea of acronyms. My workplace has been great in giving me lots of projects to do to increase my skills and awareness of the company's operations as a whole, and my managers make me feel empowered to tackle tasks which affect the whole company.
In summary, the residential training is truly great and the instructors are brilliant; the pre-course learning resources in between are not though, and are truly a joyless and unrewarding slog, but if you get a good company to work for in your apprenticeship, you should be fine.

Firebrand have a lot of rich resources both in their tutors and also in their course resources. Very good structure to learning.
