Good preparation thanks to a very experienced trainer
The trainer made it very easy to understand. The setup also is very good for learning.

They delivered everything they promised. Intensive courses, great teachers, a stress free environment and most importantly a passed exam within 5 days!

I'm really happy that I chose Firebrand for my apprenticeship. The courses and material they provided for learning were very interesting and helped me greatly to improve my networking skills and knowledge. The residential courses were such a great experience! Instructor Gareth did a very good job at leading the lectures, providing support and answers. All thanks to him I managed to pass the vendor exams and get my certifications. Perran has also been very helpful throughout this whole apprenticeship. He has always provided good advice and support. Thanks to him I was able to complete all my project works and pass the EPA successfully.
I successfully completed a Level 4 Network Engineering apprenticeship securing a Distinction. Firebrand was extremely proactive, providing lots of notice about upcoming training sessions and assignments throughout. I would like to say a special thanks to Perran J, and Vijay M for their continuous support and feedback during the 2-year apprenticeship to ensure a successful outcome.

Got an apprenticeship and I was enjoying it but then I lost a close family member so had to take time off for it, had severe health and wellbeing issues, followed by the loss of a childhood friend and as far as I was aware my workplace were informing them but then I returned to work and failed my probation because Firebrand were annoyed that I was behind on my apprenticeship.
There is zero support available for their apprentices, nobody contacted me at all whilst I was off, if they had such pressing concerns then they could've at least popped an email across to either ask how I am or if I needed assistance but there was nothing.
The first thing I did when I returned to work was contact my "Learning mentor" (and I use this term as loose as possible) to ask what the options were and how I could catch up and all I got was "Start over, we'll have a meeting and go from there" but clearly this was nonsense because they must've already known that I wasn't going to pass probation, heck, they probably already filled my position.
I had no notice whatsoever, if I'd have known a month ago that this was the case then I could've been spending time applying for replacements or they could've suggested some but there was nothing from them, even the 5 days since returning to work would've been better notice.
They just don't work with you at all and frankly, I think of all the things that could cause a person to fall behind, multiple bereavements and health/mental heath and wellbeing come out as the top most understandable reasons for doing so but there was no empathy nor collaboration at all.

It looks like you cannot really trust most of the reviews here as Trust Pilot is allowing certain businesses to receive reviews that aren't quite based on the user ecperience. We should trust this website but all goes down to money I suposse.
I completed a cyber security course with Firebrand, enticed by their promises of job placement and job search support.
Unfortunately, they failed to deliver on these commitments.
Despite several attempt of contacting them and asking for their so called "support", not only that I've been ignored completely but I received zero support since finishing my course back in January.
Now, as we approach August, obviously they'll say my "support will come to an end ( like they ever provided any.)
The quality of the course content itself is a terrible mess and the lack of promised job assistance left me feeling misled and unsupported.
Really regret wasting 3 months on this non sense that got me nowhere.
I expected a comprehensive program that would include post-course career services, but I received none, especially from a company like Firebrand.
They outsource 80-90% of their "trainers" ,promise job search support and offer none. Best you'll ever get is some links from Indeed.
All you'll get is some guy based, God knows where in the world, scribbling on a board and here you go - that's your course there.
I just wanted to bring up a few points about your so called course/ courses in general:
* How and why are you offering Boot Capms to people from foreign countries, when I thought it was a UK government scheme. Got nothing against anyone, but do you thing is fair to offer courses paid by UK tax payers money to someone that never even set foot in the UK? All this just so you can make more money. Just asking.
*Not to mention you don't even bother to ever check your own eligibility criteria to make sure you enroll people that actually can learn something from the course. Saw people asking how to turn on a laptop but enrolled into a Cyber Security course. Interesting. Curious to know how such a 'tech' person can work in Cyber Security.
This whole course required a deep understanding of technical information. However, the instructors had significant challenges in communication. English was not their first language, leading to frequent grammar mistakes and the use of incorrect words. Their strong accents often resulted in mispronunciations; for example, 'Threat' was pronounced as 'Treat,' and 'Causes' sounded like 'Cows.' One of the tutors frequently resorted to saying "blar blar blar" when skipping over sections of the material.
Over the course of significant hours of teaching, I learned close to nothing. The "success coaching" sessions were just another waste of time. Instead of learning, we spent time discussing mundane details like how everyone’s week had gone, where they had been, and what they had done, with occasional stories about shopping or holiday trips.
The "break into the industry" sessions were equally disappointing. The instructor spent time ontalking about how to fill out a profile form.A full 40 minutes was wasted on discussing what to wear to an interview, etc, etc—a topic completely uselss.
In sessions intended to prepare us for the CyberSafe exam, the instructor repeatedly told us that the information being covered was not necessary for the exam. Despite knowing that some students had not taken or passed the exam, he continued to teach irrelevant or advanced material, seemingly just to fill time.
Moreover, Firebrand seemed overly focused on social media. We were constantly instructed to sign up for various social media platforms, even though they said it wasn’t mandatory. However, they then told us that some course information was only available on these platforms. We were encouraged to create LinkedIn accounts and accept connection requests from strangers to build our network. This is concerning, especially given that social media is increasingly recognized as a target for cyber threats—a practice that many cybersecurity experts advise against, yet Firebrand actively promoted.
Overall, I am deeply disappointed by the quality of teaching and the inaccurate information provided.
As soon as you finish your course and they get paid, that's it - end of story as they couldn't care less.
All that 6 months so called support they promise initially disappears literally from the face of Earth.
I would not recommend Firebrand to those seeking not just education, but also meaningful career support.
Very disappointing experience.
Lies after lies and useless so called courses packed with free stuff from Microsoft mainly. Google,Youtube,Linkedin,Microsoft and lots of other websites are packed with most of the info Firebrand provides at a ridiculuous rip-off price.

The course approach and training facility were good however I give it a 2 rating for the following:
- the hotel connected to the training facility was well below expectations for a course that cost over Euro1k per day.
- all course materials were online which made it difficult to take notes.
- the organisation leading up to the course was last minute so cost of travel was significantly higher and there was very little time for prior preparation.
- it was a brand new course syllabus but this was not explained by the sales person for firebrand. fortunately participants were experienced otherwise the training itself may not have been enough to pass the exam.
On the positive side, the trainer was highly experienced and knowledgeable so that was the major strength of the course otherwise I would not consider another training with firebrand.

Now ive already reviewed this course elsewhere so i'll keep this one brief.
Theres a hell of a lot to take on board in such a short amount of time, and at the beginning i was concerned. HOWEVER, due to the excellent tuition of Mark Percy, i was shocked at how engaged i was from start to finish and the way he made it possible for me to absorb all that information. I guess you have to trust all that experience.
I would strongly recommend learning on site, in the class room.

Good instructor. Room for improvement could be doing practise exam questions more spaced out through the week rather than concentrated at the end

Training was supposed to be for 3 days, but less break and more content and instructor finished the course in 2 days making hard for listeners to grasp the knowledge, 3rd day was just Q&A which only lasted for 1 hour, so the session ended at 10:00 am.
Test papers should have discussed more.
Instructor was good, but sometime it felt like he was also confused with the question in test papper.

Useless course. If you want to learn how to code don’t join their program. All you do is a bunch of exams that will give you certificates that are irrelevant in the job market. I was so naive to really think that a python certificate could have given me a job.
After the course they promised me to help me to find a job, I had my success course contacting me twice in 6 months fetching me some basic indeed job applications , that’s ridiculous.
And lastly they ask you to live a review in the middle of the course as you still unaware of the neglect you will encounter.

A great opportunity to network with other apprentices and to learn in a classroom environment rather than online. Classes were very much interactive and interesting and the instructor was really great!

Very friendly experienced and knowledgeable teacher. Very relevant teaching in terms of the actual questions that come up in the exam. Nice and tide hotel room. Amazing breakfast.
