We were looking for a house in the Diss area, and Tania from Fine & Country was incredibly patient and helpful throughout the process. She took the time to understand our requirements and showed us properties that were genuinely suitable. We soon found the right house and were able to complete the purchase, and we’re absolutely delighted with our new home.

Fine and Country based in Diss are all very friendly, professional and gave excellent service across the board. Couldn’t rate them higher.

My experience with this company has been deeply unsatisfactory and has raised serious concerns regarding professional conduct and transparency.
During the offer stage of a house I had viewed the seller Peter Perera of Perera property investments ltd informed Greg Perrins the agent that he could share with me a previous offer that had been made, the information influenced the amount I then put forward, my offer was excepted but during the exchange in paperwork between solicitors the seller used old paperwork from the previous sale which didn't complete, the price had been elevated by £10,000 when it was told to me by the agent who would have also know that it was incorrect.
This is misrepresentation !
Anyway, this has turned out to be the least of my worries, approximately 9 months after purchasing the house I discovered the property suffers from a infestation of cluster flies and ladybirds. At no point during the purchase process was this matter disclosed to me despite its material relevance.
This is misrepresentation !
working though this I have also discovered the seller to have purchased there new property from fine and country, I mean how convenient is that for everyone !! well everyone except me, they managed to get 2 properties over the finish line no matter what it took or who it damaged!
I expect honesty, clarity, and integrity from any professional and seller involved in a property transaction. regrettable my experience falls considerably short of these standards.
I would strongly advise potential clients to exercise considerable caution and to independently verify any key information provided by this agency.

This year, I was in the position of needing to sell our beautiful island home on the death of my husband, a difficult thing to do. Chrissie Taylor at the Fine and Country Isle of Wight office was sensitive to this, and being a ‘newbie’ at selling a property (my husband had always taken on this role in the past), steered me through each stage of the process and gave me the confidence I needed that I could do this. She was friendly and very professional, prompt to respond to written or telephonic communication, and in a difficult market, helped me to land that elusive acceptable offer. This is where Heather Banning, the sales progressor took over, equally professional and responsive. Despite just two parties being involved, it was a challenging five months to exchange, but Heather was tenacious and kept up the pressure to get the sale over the finishing line, towards the end communicating almost daily with my solicitor, the buyer’s law firm and the buyer. She deserves a medal! I would have no hesitation in recommending Fine and Country Isle of Wight for their excellent, friendly and professional service.

The Diss office - Tania, Sue and the team - made our purchase a very easy process.

Excellent customer service. Shows a genuine interest in their clients and property.
Marketing creative and represented not just the house but what it would be like to live there.
Ensured progress was made so we met the deadlines.
No hesitation in recommending
F&C are not the cheapest agents but when you are one of their clients it is very clear what your money is buying.
From the first moment, the team are ‘on it’ and a sale for us was secured very quickly where a previous agent had struggled to even get viewings.
Our chain was not a straight forward one and fraught with issues but Tania was always in touch and pushing everyone relentlessly to move forward. This did not stop if Tania was out of the office with Sue and others taking up the mantle.
We finally completed yesterday and I couldn’t be happier with the service we received from F&C. Cheaper agents are a false economy and this is a complicated process. I would unreservedly recommend.

I approached Fine & Country to discuss selling my property, and the experience has been incredibly disappointing. After an initial positive chat, communication fell off a cliff. I was repeatedly told I’d get a call “tomorrow,” but days and then weeks passed with no follow-up and no clarity.
I’ve had to chase multiple times, only to receive last-minute excuses or silence. For an agency that positions itself as “premium,” the service has been anything but. Being ignored and left waiting is not just unprofessional, it shows a real lack of respect for potential clients.
If this is how they treat you before they’ve even won your business, I hate to think what the experience would be like once they have.
I would definitely not recommend them based on my experience.

Andrew and the whole team were great from the very outset. The property description and photos were fantastic, and care was taken to get plenty of information about our property to pass on to potential purchasers. Andrew called me when he said he would, and was always available when required. Selling a property in this market has taken time (6 Months) but F&C could not have done more.

F&C sought us to market our property. It was already with another agent and gaining Viewings. Jack Rees promised a launch with an open day. This was cancelled as after 3 weeks not a single person had registered. Subsequent viewings (just 3 in 5 months) gave us not a single word of feedback.

Helen Ed, and team
I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for all your support and professionalism in helping me sell my house, particularly during such a difficult period following the passing of my husband. The past months have been incredibly challenging, and your sensitivity, understanding, and expertise have made a world of difference.
From the very first meeting, you demonstrated genuine compassion and guided me through every step of the process with patience and reassurance. Your attention to detail, clear communication, and willingness to answer all my questions helped to ease my worries and gave me confidence in the decisions we made together.
I truly appreciate the extra care you took in managing viewings and negotiations, always respecting my wishes and ensuring that the process was as smooth and stress-free as possible. Thanks to your hard work and dedication, the sale was completed efficiently, allowing me the space and support I needed to focus on my family and begin to move forward.
Thank you once again for your kindness and professionalism. I could not have asked for a better team to help me through this difficult time. I will always be grateful for your support.
With sincere thanks,
Deborah Murray

The team were very helpful and professional, they chased every week for updates and kept me informed all the way through.
F & C were excellent and so professional from the start. The selling process was pretty awful, but the team ensured that the sale of our house and the management of the chain was handled as best as possible. They were attentive and nothing was ever too much trouble. I would highly recommend

Elizabeth was our estate agent for several years. She was very professional and offered great advice. She quickly found quality tenants for our property and offered great ongoing support.

We have recently purchased a property through Fine & Country in Marlborough and the whole experience has been excellent. From the first viewing, through to negotiation and sales progression, Pip was thoroughly on the ball, always available and quick to resolve any obstacles that came our way. A big thanks to Pip and the F & C team.

Terrible service. Alexandra Bentley (Director and Co-Owner of Fine & Country Lanseria and Hartbeespoort), does not arrive for her appointments. We are all busy. This is very disrespectful behaviour. Agents like this gives brands like Find & Country a bad name.
Terrible experience. A colleague shared this information with me. Do not trust a word PAUL HARDY, Fine & Country Flyde Coast says. A person could form the opinion Paul Hardy is nothing more than a second rate scammer.
Sold a property to a colleague that had several dangerous defects including flooding of the property.(please see attached video one of many others) These defects were known to Paul Hardy and he allegedly hide the information from the buyer during the entire sales period.
Anyone currently going through the process of buying a property whereby Paul Hardy, Fine & Country, Flyde Coast is involved, then it is strongly advised that they should reconsider and seek legal protection before moving forward.
It is strongly advised that people do not use this agent if in connection to a property.
Formal Complaint and Service Review
To: Fine and Country Estate Agents (Isle of Wight)
Date of Incident: Tuesday, October 29, 2025
Property Address: Nelson Drive, Cowes, Isle of Wight
Client P. C. and Ariel Chavarro Avila
I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction and to lodge a formal complaint regarding the service received following the arranged property valuation appointment at our home on Tuesday, October 29, 2025.
1. Breach of Trust and Unauthorised Substitution
Our primary disappointment lies with Fine and Country for a significant breach of professional conduct. We arranged a valuation directly with your agency; however, without any prior consultation, notification, or opportunity for us to consent, the appointment was outsourced to Pittis Estate Agents.
This decision, which deprived my partner of the fundamental right to choose who enters and assesses his property, demonstrated a complete lack of respect for us as potential clients. We expected the bespoke, high-end service Fine and Country advertises, not an unannounced substitution.
2. The Agent's Unprofessional Conduct and Disrespect
The agent sent by Pittis, identified as N___l, arrived on time but exhibited an utterly unprofessional and negative attitude from the outset.
Our property is a very contemporary, minimalist, and open-plan house that has been recently renovated to an exceptionally high standard. The features include:
Ground floor: Open-plan sitting room, dining room, and kitchen area, a fitted bathroom with a shower, ample cupboard space, and new French doors opening onto a gorgeous, sunny, and protected patio garden.
First floor: Three bedrooms (two comfortable doubles and one single), a main bathroom with a lovely walk-in shower, and brand new roof insulation and finally a separate spacious garage with a small piece of land.
Despite the obvious quality and significant investment in the renovation, the agent was overwhelmingly negative. He spent the duration of the visit focusing on the poor current state of the UK property market and offered continuous, dishearteningly negative feedback on every aspect of the house.
3. Dishonest and Disrespectful Valuation
The agent concluded his visit by stating the property's value had to be around 250,000."
This figure is not only deeply insulting but also fundamentally dishonest and disconnected from the local market reality. Professional investigation of comparable sales clearly shows that even renovated council estate properties in Cowes are not available under this price point.
Following his disheartening visit, two separate, professional estate agents valued our property at £300,000. This confirms the Pittis agent's valuation was wildly inaccurate and suggests either incompetence or a deliberate attempt to manage expectations downwards using fear-mongering tactics.
Conclusion
The entire experience was deeply upsetting. My husband was left feeling heartbroken after the agent's negative assessment and disrespectful attitude.
We require a formal explanation from Fine and Country as to why our appointment was substituted without permission. Furthermore, we demand an acknowledgment of the unacceptable standard of conduct displayed by your partner agency, Pittis.
As a direct result of this experience, we intend to post the following ratings:
Fine and Country Estate Agents: 1 Star
Pittis Estate Agents: 0 Stars
Trust Pilot does not allow me to set the 29th of September as the date of the incident.

Fine and country estate agents in Hove carried out a very high end operation that sold our house in a week. Dominique recorded an aspirational video at the property that peaked interest across the board, and after the initial offers, Matt was comprehensively engaged in making sure the sale proceeded smoothly for all involved.
In conclusion, we were very happy with F&C, an excellent experience and would highly recommend. Good job!
