Bike came with a broken pedal

Bike came with a broken pedal. I sent photos and agreed to send a new pedal to mount it by myself. More than a week and pedal not received.
Besides, you need to adjust many things: bike gears (you receive cable disconnected), brakes, steering, etc. No manuals (online manual on the web is generic). Youtube is the only option.
If you are lucky with the delivery OK, if not much better pay more in a store and ride home with a non-broken bike and already adjusted. In my case I do not know yet when I will be able to use it…
Not recommended buying here at all.
First and last time for me.

Worst company ever.

Worst company ever.
Bike delivered incomplete and with multiple broken parts. 100 day money back guarantee also incorrect because "the box was opened" (how do you expect me to see if it is broken or has missing parts!?). After weeks of mailing they finally "a sollution".. to pick it up and try to repair it but you have to wrap it entirely yourself with special and expensive packing material and provide a big enough box (who is going to pay for this?). They do not answer your calls and never call back. Takes ages to respond.. the list goes on and on.

Very poor service

Very poor service. I order bike for my kid for Easter just before Easter I got mail they have no more this product so I send mail I want my money back and till now I didn't get it!!!!! Very bad service

Bad bad service. Be careful with this company.

I placed an order on 1st april and chose 3x payment. The 1st installment payment succeed but then 5 days later they said the bike is sold out! Almost at the end of the month I got a reminder to complete the second payment. They have not even refund my until now! Everytime I call them they said there are 12 waiting calls before me??! It makes me wonder that this is just some sort of set up that they make. I am writing this to remind people that they should be careful with this company because something is not right. I have emailed them few times about the refund. I will have to contact my bank/authority if I dont hear from them within a week. So disappointed now. What a scam!

Horrible service

Horrible service. Ordered a bike for my daughters birthday 2 weeks ago and it never arrived. I had forgotten to add the house number but fixed it the next day by calling them. That was 2 weeks ago. I am still waiting....
Also I was told that I would be called back and it never happened, today I called again and apparently they tried calling without success. I did not have a missed call. So somebody lied.
Today I was promised I would be informed... I wait in anticipation....

Good delivery but no user manual

My bike was delivered to me within 2 days, but not within 24 hours. Customer service is often very difficult to reach online and they return to emails very late. There was no problem with my bike, it was delivered quite fine. However, the user manual did not come with the bike. The customer service shared the 15-minute videos I had already found on youtube via e-mail. Unfortunately, these videos are too insufficient to assemble the bike. I had to take my bike to the local store and paid 40 euros for assembly fee :(

The website should be called Scamfiets

First they say if you order by 1 pm they will deliver the items I ordered the day after and is not true at all, I received the bicycle 3 days after, they say wait for DHL mail with the time of delivery, another lie, DHL tells you the day but the time is always between 8 am and 6 pm, than the order is also incomplete because I didn't received the children seat I've ordered together with the bicycle and also in their website they never mention that the bicycle isn't assembled but is delivered in a box and you have to do it by yourself ( thing that I never did and I have no idea how hard could be) in my emails of complain they never apologize for the delay, I specifically took a day off and than another because I had to wait for the bicycle at home all day and I couldn't go anywhere during my day off because of them and they never apologized for this, I call them and after 20 Min waiting on line I had to talk to the rudest costumer service employee and after I mentioned him all the problems I had, he didn't even apologize or try to offer me a compensation or a refund.

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever.
I bought a bike and a baby seat, The baby seat was not delivered at all. The back seat of the bike was broken also. Scammer. Be aware.

Nice prices but no instructions

We bought a nice, relatively cheap Oma fiets from fietsenplaats.nl. Delivery, was as promised, within 24 hours. Assembly was interesting but not quite successful because no instructions came with the flat packed fiets. There are no instructions for a Spirit fiets on fietsenplaats.nl either. We had to take the fiets to our local shop to get the brakes properly adjusted (the rest we could figure out ourselves)

Very recommended

I bought a Valenti bike, for woman, with 6 gears and it was at my house in 24hs. Great service and delivery.
I'm very happy with my new bike, Its light, and fast.
Very simple to assemble and the color and details are very beautiful, 100% recommended.

Fietseplaats has the worst customer…

Fietseplaats has the worst customer services. Once they sell their items, they are so much determined that they would not accept any return. My daughter had bought a bike and the size did not her. I called the customer services several times and I was told that I had to pack the bike as it was delivered. I explained to him that the bike was assembled and now will be assembled and of course it cannot be 100% per cent packed the way I received. They first said not a problem. Then they told me to send them them the photo how I have put in the return box. I sent the photo. Since they had already made the mind that they would not accept, they were making lame excuses and telling me that they would not accept it back as it was not professionally packed. The Customer service person was giving me analogies of bikes and iPhone mobiles and he was telling me that if I buy an iPhone and I open it, the company will not accept it. I told him that there is huge difference between an iPhone and a bike and he should not be comparing iPhone purchase with a bike. I am returning the bike simply because it does not fit the size. They just told that no matter whatever I do, they would not accept my return and that I should be aware of the consequences of buying online. In short, I wish I had less than one star to give them. I would NEVER ever recommend them. Their customer services are the worst. Once you buy an item, they do not care about it. This is a disastrous company and they just care about selling and if you have any issues or you want to return any item because either it was wrongly ordered or wrong size was order, they are absolutely determined that they would not take it back and would be making several lame excuses and giving you lectures on the consequences of online shopping despite the fact that the buyer has two week cool period. In short, the worst ever company and the rudest and useless customer services.

The website says that bikes are put…

The website says that bikes are put together for 85% on delivery. I wanted to ask what this means but after 20 minutes on hold with their customer service I will buy the bike somewhere else. I wonder how they got all the 5 star reviews on their site, given the amount of critical reviews on independent sites.

Disappointed by the service

I have ordered a bike and a front baby seat. There were no instructions to assemble the bike, so we followed youtube videos and a random manual found online which did not fit the bike precisely. It took a long time to assemble it and not all tools were included in the box. But the main problem was the fact that they sent the wrong baby seat, which does not fit the bike at all. After several attempts to ride the bike, I realised that was not the seat I ordered so have contacted them requesting a replacement. Instead, they only offered to pay the difference with the seat I ordered, which is besides the point as I don't have a seat that fits the bike and I can use safely with my baby. I can't return it and I can't use it either. Piece of garbage.
