Great customer service from Emma. Very friendly and helpful. Love this store i buy from here regularly.

We lost our local Fat Face store so a visit to the one in Ambleside was a delight today! Emma-Jane was so helpful... getting personal service and recommendations was super helpful. I even discovered that they deliver to Next in my town which is brilliant (dangerous it'll be so handy 😂) who knew? Would definitely recommend popping in, very welcoming.

I visited the Ambleside store today for a browse and came away with a lovely green cotton jumper and the scarf which had been paired with it. I also noticed a lovely gents blue shirt paired with a woolen jacket and as my nephews birthday is next week I purchased the shirt and my sister bought him the jacket as the combination looked great.

Great customer service, the manager went above and beyond to fix a problem of my own creating. She couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly, especially considering we visited during the busy Christmas sales.

Emma and Jane were so kind and supportive. The lovely team in our Fat Face Kendal store on the saturday found the Ambleside store had a jumper in the size we needed. They called Emma in Fat Face Ambleside who said they would keep it for us. With a huge rainstorm hsppening we could not get to Ambleside till Tuesdsy as they advised best not to travel due to flooding on the main road. When we arrived on Tuesday Emma was so welcoming and had kept the jumper for us and trusted that we would come. We are so grateful and appreciate their immense kindness and commitment to us when they could have sold the jumper before we could get to their store. Thank you all in Kendal and Ambleside so much.

My friend and I popped into FatFace Ambleside on the 11th of October to get an outfit that we could wear to The Old Stamp House that evening (we'd managed to miraculously get a table after just walking by - VERY unplanned addition to our hiking weekend!)

We were both in a bit of a panic - we'd been convincing ourselves that we could maaaaybe get away with black leggings and a black top with boots but then when we asked Emma-Jane what she thought, it became apparent that we needed to find an outfit ASAP.

This is where Emma-Jane proves to be invaluable - to our outfits, to our peace of mind, and to our comfort. I don't need to tell you how trying it can be to go into a shop and try things on, more out of desperation than anything else, and feel like nothing fits quite right or it all looks just a little bit weird when it's on. Emma-Jane took the time out of her busy Saturday afternoon (the weather was absolutely glorious so everyone was out and about) to go through the merits of different styles and washes of jeans, which trousers I should go for (green or like a pink check option). I was also really impressed because the green trousers were significantly more expensive than the pink checked, but Emma-Jane's priority didn't seem to be making as much money as possible out of us - just giving us genuine recommendations for what would work best for us and our dinner. I went with the check upon Emma-Jane's recommendation that they'd be more suitable for a Michelin restaurant, and my friend picked out the NICEST back dress you've ever seen (she looks great in it, super flattering on her figure - even another customer was like YES she looks amazing).

We weren't sure if they'd have the right sizes for us, but Emma-Jane checked what they had in the storeroom, and luckily we found our sizes in the dress and the trousers! If the Ambleside store hadn't have had the right sizes, Emma-Jane was ready to find out if other stores nearby (Keswick, if I recall correctly) had what we needed.

Emma-Jane really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, solve our panic and help us feel confident going into a very impromptu Michelin dinner that evening.

The staff at FatFace Ambleside genuinely provided some of the best customer service I've had in years, highly recommend going there.

I was in the shop this week and would like to give a shout out to the lady who was working there on Friday. She was very professional and went out of her way to help customers. I couldn’t help overhear her serving other customers and was very impressed how she did everything to help source the product in another shop to send to her. Friendly, helpful service. I was very impressed.

Ambleside store. Simply great service!!!

I visited the Ambleside store today. The assistant was super helpful and when I said I was in the Lakes training for a Coppafeel Trek (cancer charity) in the Isle of Skye she told me how to contact the brand to let them know what I’m doing. I’ve shopped at Fatface for years and this was by far one of the nicest experiences.

Visited this shop and browsed for a few minutes. A wonderful lady member of staff called Emma approached me and I complimented her on the dress she was wearing, fat face merchandise, well from there it was the best shopping experience ever for me. I tried the dress on, she brought me a cardigan to try on with it then I also tried on a jumpsuit, again she was full of positive comments and made me feel valued. This lady certainly needs to be in a training position to educate sales staff in their approach to people. She went above and beyond to make me feel good. I applaud you Emma! 3 items purchased for me and 2 items purchased for my partner…. We will be back!

Popped into Fatface in Ambleside to find a woollen jumper. The service was outstanding. Really helpful and offered to order something in to arrive tomorrow. Didn’t need to as I found a jumper to fit. Emma-Jane could not have been more attentive or helpful.
