the best online shop on the market

My order process was a complete nightmare, although FatDaddy did keep communicating with me to try and solve it, which is why I gave 2 stars and not only 1.

First, my order was not available to collect immediately. I specifically checked with them via their online chat before ordering that I could collect it the next day from their store, but in the end it turns out the stock wasn't really there.

Then the payment took several days to process on their side. I used a "spread payment" option they offer, and it turns out this takes many days from them to handle. It doesn't say this anywhere on their website, and the company who processed the payment actually confirmed to me on the same day that everything was arranged and they had contacted FatDaddy to confirm it. Someone was lying, but either way FatDaddy should make it clear if some payment methods take a long time to be processed.

Once they confirmed the payment they then told me that due to a promotion they were running and their store in Amsterdam being quite new there was actually no stock. Then it took a long time for them to get the stock again. I told them I needed it before going on vacation, but they didn't manage to arrange it. Then just to annoy me they emailed me asking me when I would pick it up while I was on vacation, as if I was leaving it in their store for fun.

Then when I picked it up a small part (skate tool) was missing, and their response is that I should come to the store again to collect it. After taking more than 3 weeks to actually get my order in the end, to find that something is missing and be asked to waste my time coming to the store again is a bit of a joke.

As I said above, their staff were good at communicating and were always available online and via email when I had a problem, but in the end all that matters is the product took around 10 days to actually be available to me, despite originally appearing that I could order one night and pick it up the next day. I can see from their other reviews that the service is normally good, so I just have to assume that this was a lot of small things going wrong. But all that matters is my own experience, and it was really bad and never really solved despite all their good communication.

I almost gave fatdaddy a score of 4 because of the fact they were pretty aggressive asking for writing a review. I understand now this was due to some issue in their computer system, hence I feel 5 stars is the correct score.

That's a score for selling a board. In the event of a failure of the board, I'd be interested in how fatdaddy will deal with that.

I got my board but the remote was unfortunately missing, but FatDaddy made sure I got it the very next day so I could ride my board.
