Update: 2 months on and now having requested a refund and being told 3 times it would be sent, I have proceeded legal action. Be aware that High Spec Tech is the same company and now a rash of reviews with same experiences as me.
For info Ordered a laptop on 4th Dec for my daughter’s Xmas present. On website the last order date in time for Xmas was advertised as 16th Dec. Order was confirmed but having heard nothing by 16th Dec I raised a ticket. It promised a response in 24 hours, but heard nothing after 2 days so rang the company. Queued on phone for 20 minutes and then spoke to Jo who promised to come back to me. Heard nothing again for 24 hours so rang again on 19th. Again queued for 29 minutes, again Spoke to Jo again who said she had struggled to get hold of ‘production’ but would sit on the phone til she got an answer and call me back without fail.
Again heard nothing and now sitting here on Xmas eve knowing my daughter isn’t getting her present.
I could have accepted ‘sorry we’ve had such and such an issue and it won’t arrive before Xmas’ but I’ve just had failed promises and really poor customer service. Really disappointed.

Even two years after buying a gaming PC from Expertec, I can still rely on them to provide support when things don't work as expected. This week the PC tower decided it would try to boot but then turn off, or it would boot but have no output. I emailed to ask for advice and Jo was just brilliant. I was given a step by step approach to try and identify the issue then once I had found the piece causing the issues, Jo send the company will send a replacement at no extra cost to me and was happy that my daughter could now play oh her PC once more. Expertec, I couldn't ask for a better experience. Even when I originally made my purchase in 2021, I was given regular updates on the order and any questions I had were answered straight away. This helped me understand exactly what was needed for the perfect gaming PC - can't fault the company at all.

Excellent Company!
I chose this fantastic company in 2020 to build my sons Gaming PC - throughout the process I was kept updated. Excellent Delivery Service, all packaged to an exceptional standard. We encountered one problem on Christmas Day, however via email all was resolved asap. Amazing!
No problems until few weeks ago and ‘no boot detected’. I contacted the company for advice and well…fantastic advice, Jo assisted every which way she could.
It was decided best way forward would be to fixed at the company.
PC collected and all issues resolved to an excellent level and more…once again packaged to the highest standard.
My son is extremely happy :-)

Strongly recommend Expertec for value, quality and after care service. They have gone the extra mile for me, and I am a tough customer. Bought a refurbished machine in 2021 which operated perfectly until an issue in 2023 which may have been a virus, it took out the SSD drive. Contacting Expertec for assistance, they provided everything to get the machine back working !, how's that for service on a 2 year old refurbished machine.

These people are special.
The goods arrived before promised and the communications have been excellent. When I raised a minor fault enquiry, the response was positive, immediate and unstinting. They even tried to fix the problem over the internet by remote control of my PC. Now they are arranging to take the machine back to base to fix the problem! Customer service doesn't get better than that.
Unexpected!
I found Expertec online. The desktop listed had most of the specifications I wanted. The image on the listing is poor. I placed the order but I wasn't sure what to expect. I wanted to cancel the order but the customer service was excellent, they offered EVERYTHING I NEEDED WITHOUT ADDING TO THE ORIGINAL PRICE. The desktop was delivered on time, very well packed. I was pleasantly surprised with every item in the order. I will make Expertec my first stop for future tech!

Honest, reliable and go the extra mile
Hi I bought my PC for my son from Expertec approx 18 months ago. My son recently did a software upgrade that went wrong meaning the PC was not booting up, I spoke with Expertec and they offered to examine the PC despite it being out of warranty, they not only solved the issue but upgraded the hard drive at the same time and didn't charge me a penny!
