Beware of eTrailer.com’s Poor Customer Practic
I placed an order with eTrailer.com and attempted to cancel within one hour — before it left their facility. Despite this, they shipped the product anyway. I then proposed multiple fair solutions: paying part of the return shipping, exchanging the product, or keeping it if the original shipping cost was refunded. All were rejected.
Instead, they demanded I destroy the brand-new item (a large RV cover), haul it to a dump or cut it up with knives, photograph it, and only then would they consider a refund. They refused to arrange a pickup or provide a prepaid return label.
Because of this, my money is tied up and I cannot purchase a suitable replacement. I found the process burdensome, unsafe, and entirely outside standard retail practices.
For anyone considering doing business with eTrailer.com, proceed very cautiously. Their customer service may say the right things, but their actions suggest they do not prioritize fair resolutions.
I hope this review helps others avoid the frustration I’ve experienced.
7k Hydraulic Jack Install
The 7k dump trailer hydraulic jack works great. The issue I had was there were no instructions in the box. After being unsuccessful finding a You Tube video, with the new style valve, I installed the valve the way it appeared it should be. The handle facing towards the dump or the jack. This did not work. I contacted etrailer and got a real person. They gave me the number to Stillwell. I didn't have much success with Stillwell but I was able to figure out the valve and hose configuration on my own. My hope is that they put instructions in the box or mark the valve so that this doesn't happen to anyone else. Overall etrailers customer service was great and the jack works awesome.

Poor Customer Service
Someone fraudulently used my credit card to purchase an item from etrailer.com. When notifying them, the customer service representative initially asked me what could they do about it! I provided the order number and told them it was in their best interest to follow up as the item was still in route. The representative did contact UPS to re-route the item but then had the audacity to suggest that I NOT report this to my credit card company because it would delay the refund process. WHAT! Should I sit back and let more fraudulent purchases be made? I find this company's follow-up to a fraudulent purchase unacceptable and caution others using this company.

Poor product description and service
What a terrible experience with etrailer. The product description leaves out important information that let me to choose the incorrect hitch. The hitch was shipped without a box and missing bolts. I paid an installer only to realize afterward that it was the wrong product. Customer service blamed me saying I should have called them to confirm. I strongly advise purchasing your product with a different retailer.
