They are not easy to use. I sold a car and 3 days later after car was exchanged i had to call to explain that the car was exchanged. this is after both parties access the site and agreed to the exchange.

We bought a domain and felt safe doing the transaction and got the domain as planed. It took a little time but everything went perfect.
Their verification system is exhausting: ID, proof of address, selfie — and still no approval.
Top class communication and really attentive to the transfer progress. The .cz domain was a bit more complex to transfer ownership, and Europe has a different time zone to consider. Thank you.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLATFORM!
This is the worst platform I have ever used for transactions.
I created a transaction so that someone can sell me an account. I made a bank transfer to Escrow 8 days ago, and the customer support said : "This is going to be completed in 3-5 business days".
So 8 days have passed and 6 business days in total and still NOTHING!
ESCROW STOLE MY MONEY! I have even sent them the reference document from the bank and then the MT103 document from the bank.
Still NOTHING!
Now 1750€ are gone!
And of course the customer support is not responding!
No response after 8 days = Probably they stole my money!
KEEP AWAY from Escrow! Use other platforms which allow crypto transfers so that you can do your work within minutes! Like SWAPD , Fameswap etc.
Do not bother with this service. High fees, horrible service, very slow. Risked me losing the seller
Excellent transaction - will always use escrow.com. Carla concierge service was impeccable!
Thrisia has been solving my queries for a long time. She’s the best.
I agree with the overall middling rating for Escrow. They provide a valuable service, and ultimately get the job done. But the process is lengthy, costly, and their CS is incredibly slow to respond.
Where possible, I try to avoid buying names via them and also try not to ask my customers to buy through them. However, sometimes there is no other way - and so I'm forced to use them. In those cases, the transactions ultimately succeed, which is nice.
But what could be such a lovely experience is cumbersome, slow, and expensive. And since they are the only game in town, they have little incentive to improve their service.
The escrow.com team, including Carla, were very helpful and communicated well. Would absolutely use escrow.com for a domain purchase transaction again in the future.
Valentina provided excellent attention to the transaction and good communication.

As a seller, I depend on timely transfers. Escrow.com’s delays nearly cost me my supplier deal.

The process for selling a domain was difficult in some ways, though Escrow.com offered a variety of guides online. I needed but didn't find one for my situation as a sole proprietor when starting the verification process, and quickly faced the need to treat my sale as a Person or a Business. Sole proprietors are actually both at once, but my transaction became messy after I chose Business.
When I later got to a point where there seemed to be a way to change it to a Person filing, it seemed to work, but only briefly. In the next three days I received several emails about needing to upload documentation for a Business which had to fit in one of four categories, three of which had titles which meant nothing to me. Though I offered several supporting documents about my ownership, none were accepted because they didn't exactly match what was needed for a Business.
After hours of floundering, I Googled one category "Fictitious Name Certificate" which turned out to mean Certificate of Business a DBA (Doing Business As). I uploaded a current DBA certificate and within 2 hours I was notified that I have been properly verified as a seller.
Thrisia Mae A was the email and chat support agent who was made things much clearer for me in the late stages. If only I'd connected with her earlier...
