Paid $2K for a domain transfer, didn't get anything. They send you stupid e-mails from people who do not exist. This company will rip your money.

Refund process has taken entirely too long. My wire transfer seemed to have been held hostage by Escrow.com for over a week. I had to constantly contact them to understand what was taking so long. In the end, my refund finally returned, but it was painful.
Other than that, which was a big deal, everything else was ok.
Just make sure you're seller won't back out of your deal once your $ is in Escrow.com...

We were buying a domain from an unknown supplier and there was clearly risk at several stages in this transaction but Escrow's concierge service ironed out the bumps and minimised the risk ultimately achieving a successful transfer, helping us at every stage of the way.

Sad to have to give this 1-star review. Escrow.com is "supposed" to make a transaction seemless and safer for buyers and seller as a trusted, neutral, third-party. In my case, my problem stems from the way they mishandled my wire-transfer payment on a vehicle purchase. Anyone who has ever sent a wire knows that once it is sent it is received the same day by the other party's bank. It took like three business days for them to acknowledge the receipt of my funds, and then ONLY after I obtained and sent them the full wire-transfer receipt from my bank. Then, it took them another three business days to return my money. I won't be able to use them in the future due to this shoddy customer service regarding the handling of my funds. Hopefully I will be able to find a suitable replacement in the future.

I don't know how it works for US residents, but we're conducting a transaction between two European countries, and I must say the service is appalling. A week has passed, and the money transfer still hasn't been credited — despite charging over 2% of the deal amount for their services. We called support — they promised to resolve it in a couple of hours — but 24 hours later, nothing. The deal is falling through because of this endless delay. Never use their services.

I strongly do not recommend.
I wired money 14 days ago, and it's still not "verified".
It's almost impossible to solve problem with support, which promise to do something "in one business day" and then nothing happens.
This service really caused my a lot of stress.
Stay away from this provider, as far as you can.
Btw I still didn't receive me money back, so I might edit this review if they scam me by not returning this $5000

Overall, a useful website, but it has a lengthy process.
Notice that there could be extra days
But still, big thanks to Nimfa from the support team, who helped move my transaction status forward so I could get what I needed

We sold a domain names through Escrow.com. Escrow.com received the buyer’s payment and confirmed that the transaction was completed — the domain was transferred and the deal was closed on October 10. However, 14 days have passed and we still haven’t received our money.
Their support completely ignores our messages and provides no updates. It looks like a scam.
UPD: Finally we received funds 29.10.2025. In 19 days since completion of order.
It is not scam, but works slowly.
Answer from support for our requests still havent received.
Overall it works, but quality not good

Fantastic support team as always. Thank you Escrow.com

They suspended my almost 3 years old account without any reason or notice during active deal, despite KYC has passed and account had before successful transactions.
I'm afraid it happened because I'm holder of Belarusian passport and I noticed information on their website that they restricted Belarus as operating country - it's obviously reasonable, but the issue that I don't live in Belarus and I'm not resident of Belarus (I have all documents to prove that) the deal is not for the Belarusian entity - they haven't checked anything of that and just cancelled the buyers deal without any notice to both sides.
On request of buyer they answered that I'm no longer their customer and on my request there is no answer - this is truly shows the level of organisation.
If I knew that there is any issue with my account before setting up the deal - I would send necessary documentation to pass KYC again, but to close account just during the deal without any notice to both sides - it's unthinkable level of 0 customer service - if you are even a holder of passport of not risky countries - THINK TWICE BEFORE DEALING WITH ESCROW.COM
I had plenty of experience as I needed to quit my country because of the reasons I'm not responsible for -
for example European Banks - but even they communicate first, before any termination or suspension require some evidence and necessary documentation for law compliance.

UPD26.10 - After I reached their support twice and after 2 days of waiting - they answered that they will send the case to appropriate team - and then I received automatic request to send them documents.
Nobody has given apologies or even directly communicated with me.
The process of sending documents was stupid, because they send me a form for selfie holding residence permit that allows to attach just 1 photo at the time. So that they rejected my verification 5 times just to receive the document photos one by one and when I tried to put everything in 1 pdf- they blamed me that I did it not correctly.
As well as on the last step they send me request to
"Please submit a document that verifies your permanent residency status in your country of residence."
It took me a time to get that they asking me just to show some document that proves my address in Spain - at first I was thinking that they require from me permanent residence card or passport of another country.
In result - yes, my account recovered, but without any apologies and with awful customer experience.

Boy was this a mistake. Every review on the Better Business Bureau for escrow.com is a 1 Star. I wish I had researched this.
Chat GPT told me Escrow.com was a good way to handle an out of state purchase & title transfer of a motorcycle. The process was tedious and hard to get started but I kind of expected that. What I didn't expect is for them to screw up a simple transaction so completely. The seller sent the title to them but they refused to open the small box due to "security reasons". This took a week to uncover. Then they shipped the box to me with them ignorant of whether the title was even in it. That took another week. Seller wanted his funds so Escrow.com asked me to release funds even though they had no idea if the title was even shipped. Communications with the escrow company took forever and they had no explanation as to why the package was a security risk. Furthermore, escrow.com provided no shipping instructions for the title whatsoever to the seller. And they didn't provide a package or envelope. They are incompetent and honestly don't care how the transaction works out or whether the parties are satisfied. i asked for a refund but they refused and instead offered my $60 on $400 fees. I would never use these idiots again and the only recommendation I would give is: STAY AWAY FROM ESCROW.COM

Escrow.com has single-handedly ruined a time-sensitive deal I’ve been trying to close for days. Their verification process is beyond broken—it's a black hole of rejection with zero logic or accountability.
I submitted a bank statement AND an official letter from Khalifa University confirming I live in their Al Rowdha dorms. Both were crystal clear. Yet every submission was rejected without clear explanation. Four days of tens of failed tries with different documents, I’m about to lose the seller. If this deal collapses, Escrow.com will have cost me real money and trust. Their so-called “support” is a joke, and their verification team deserves serious scrutiny for how they treat legitimate users.
I will never use this service again. And I’ll make sure others know exactly how unreliable and obstructive Escrow.com is. If you value your time, money, or sanity—stay far away.

Not good for real estate or time sensitive transactions. I set up a transaction on Thursday and wired money on Friday morning. By Wednesday end of day it was still showing as "payment in review". I contacted the company through chat and was told they could not do a real estate transaction as the buyer and seller mailing addresses were not in supported states, even though the property in question IS in a supported state. No status update online, no communication that my transaction was being rejected. Now I have to wait for the funds to be returned to me so I can complete the transaction another way. This has caused a one week delay in resolving the issue, assuming I get my funds back tomorrow. This was not a small transaction, I would not trust them again on something time sensitive.

Feedback is just about customer service. Verification process had some hick-ups since it uses a different flow as I'm used to. After being rejected a few times I of course instantly looked for customer service contact. This was easy and quick. MJ was great, in this age of AI chatbots it was a breath of fresh air to be supported by someone that actually supports instead of repeating the same FAQs. If MJ is a bot... please escrow let me know what you use/how you build it.
Ps. Later I found out they actually provide a rejection explanation email, so wouldn't have needed MJ. Still happy to have done so.
