Excellent product, but… As it turned out, I needed to upgrade my Mac operating system before the new version of Endnote would run properly. That would have been ok, if the download or setup had checked for what OS I was running and advised me about the lack of backward compatibility.

Drag and drop of PDF files is a fantastic addition. Overall user interface is good, but would prefer to maintain the ability to open the reference details window as a separate pop-out window, one that is not confined to being along side the reference library window. Makes it tedious to edit text, and some functions (i.e., change case) are missing.

I works like it's supposed to and makes modifying references for different Journals easy.

I have been using EndNote for about 16 years now, and I cannot imagine life without it! When I got a new laptop, I thought I would have to buy a new subscription, then found out I can add a second device. I was out of town, but a call to customer service helped me get EndNote 21 installed on my laptop. So very helpful, thank you!

It was easy to upgrade. I have been using Endnote for 25 years and I find it saves me time and is reliable.

Makes my writing so much easier. Papers, dissertation, articles. Outstanding!

I have been using EndNote since 1995. It was an inherently important part of my doctoral research. The ability to create multiple libraries was important. The ability to change format styles is very important as I present and publish papers in different venues. There as more features in EndNotes that I do not use, but I have not had the time to really did deep into the latest version.

Great program. I have been using it since the 1980s, and it is one of the tools that constantly open on my computer desktop.

Good for keeping track of sources.

The problem was solved systematically and efficiently.

My use of EndNote is purely research; I do not use it for citations while writing or other potential uses. Nonetheless, the flexibility of the fields in EndNote allow me to integrate material from dozens of different types of source materials, making my writing more efficient and definitely less error-ridden.

Tech did not listen to me when I was attempting to tell him my problem. Problem was not fixed and continues.

It’s a seamless experience that will save you time! I highly recommend it for people who write and use lots of references! I use it with the plug-in for Pages and streamlines my workflow, truly!

I have had to request help for problems with EndNote on two occasions. EndNote responded promptly, both times. One problem had an easy fix that was suggested by email (and solved my problem), while my other problem was much more complicated. For the complicated problem, someone scheduled an appointment to work with me within a few days. The EndNote person was infinitely patient, knowledgeable and very helpful. We probably spent 2½ hours working together. Very thorough. I was quite satisfied with the support, and EndNote personnel made it clear that they wanted to completely solve the problem. It's not great to run into a problem, but it is good to know that excellent support is available from EndNote. Thank you!

The software works. Lately I have had trouble syncing but that may be resolved - my IT people don't know why it resolved ....

The solidity of use! EN gives me confidence in my notes and references. Especially, that they will be where I can find them. EN is a vital part of my research.

Here is an item on my wishlist: that typing in a new reference with a name and part of a title would generate websearch results and a list of citation choices. Other, programs offer that convenience but are not integrated as well into WORD, etc.
