“New” scratch found !!

Pisa Airport - Hired me a beaten up car, covered in dents and scratches and yet “found” a new scratch on the underside of the rear bumper, visibly only if you got on your hands and knees and crawled underneath. €400 damage apparently. Absolute scammers. Avoid at all costs.

Good experience

It really Was a super service and a fantastic car … made booking and collecting super easy and super efficient by the team on the ground … we look forward to booking with ECH next year for our Tuscany Holiday

You get what you pay for

You get what you pay for. We had a positive experience with ECH however we also expected that for the lower prices they offer there is less convenience. The office and car pick up / drop off is a 5-10 minute drive from the airport with a shuttle (which you have to walk to and wait for). It all works but it takes time to get the car and it also takes time on the drop off. This is fine if you already include this in your planning so as not to stress. Otherwise the people we dealt with were all very friendly. They do an extremely thorough check of the car for scratches on pick up and drop off. Also fine but good to take the time to ensure all scratches are marked on pick up and be ready to spend time on inspection for drop off. We liked our car and otherwise it all went well - and the price was unbeatable…

Avoid like the plague!!

Avoid like the plague! I recently had a terrible experience with ECH at Catania airport. They refused to honour my booking unless I took out full insurance with them which was nearly three times the cost. I did not want this as I had my own third party cover and it was not required. They were rude and obnoxious and, in my opinion, were simply trying to upsell me. Disgrace

helpful staff/nice car/good experience
