Bathroom Refit
From start to finish EA Mobility have provided an excellent service. The initial advice for the bathroom was comprehensive and the entire fitting by Kieron was first class. He maintained a neat and tidy workspace and the resulting work was faultless.

Great workmanship and finish
I had a walk-in shower fitted by Kieran,who was a good fitter.
He was at my property for 7 days and continuously worked without a break and was very pleasant and polite.
Nothing was any trouble when I asked a question and he explained everything to me.
Each day, he would leave the place clean and tidy as my sight is not good, made life easy for me.
Would 100% recommend this company.
Having previously paid peanuts, I got monkeys, so I was happy to pay for the workmanship I received.

Top craftmanship from a professional, friendly company
With my Dad’s health and mobility deteriorating rapidly, we decided to future the bathroom in my parent’s cottage. It was very important to us to find a specialist firm which employed its tradesmen directly, we’ve heard so many horror stories of sub contracted work.
Andy the original contact who visited the property was reassuring and creative with his design ideas. Despite being the highest quote we felt most confident moving forward with EA because of the professionalism, honesty and high quality customer interactions we experienced in the early stages. However the best was yet to come.
Ryan who fitted the bathroom was a pleasure to have around property. My elderly parents were completely comfortable leaving him home alone to crack on. We trusted him and we trusted his professional opinions regarding tinkering with the layout and design. I was also really impressed with how accommodating the company were regarding changes to the plans even when parts had been delivered.
Ryan worked long days and didn’t burden us with problems, he just got on with it. His attention to detail was outstanding and we were really glad to see him again when he came to resolve minor snags.
Waste was cleared in a timely fashion and we love our new shiny bathroom!
Thanks everyone at EA. Highly recommend.

From start to finish EA Mobility was a perfect company for what we needed
From start to finish EA Mobility looked after all the things my father needed for his wetroom and made sure it was all explained to us as well, making sure we understood what cost was going where. Overall such a great service, even during installation Joe was helpful, friendly and very considerate; couldn't be happier with the work he done and the effectiveness of how it was done. Will be recommending him and EA mobility in the future for sure

Bathroom to wet room disability conversion
My husband has recently been diagnosed with motor neurone disease and we were advised to plan for the future, plan for the worst and hope for the best. Our lovely bathroom needed to go and a wet room take its place, not something I wanted and to me, too institutional, at a time when both of us were feeling rocked to the core by such a devastating diagnosis. From Kevin Carvell's first contact to see what workarounds could be managed, through to Auris and his team’s installation, things went smoothly, extremely competently with kindness and patience all the way at our endless questions. There were a few issues with the installation of the Closomat toilet, which were dealt with quickly and competently, with Closomat ringing me within hours to sort out any issues (another good company who don't 'make a drama out of a crisis') so no dragging heels to get things sorted. We also had 2 doors altered, one a pocket door and the other sliding to accommodate any wheelchair that my husband might need in the future. Auris' attention to detail is second to none, Jon Hayday the project manager was on hand when needed and we haven't any complaints about any of the project; if only they all went so smoothly.

Wonderful Wetroom!
I am an amputee who needed a bathroom converted to a wetroom. This company were able to do this with the minimum of fuss and inconvenience. Their products and materials are of good quality. The fitter was considerate and his work of a high standard. I was consulted throughout to ensure everything met my needs.
I am delighted with the end result which allows me to toilet and shower safely and in a beautifully finished room.

Got a round tuit at last
After 48 years I have at last got round to getting rid of my bath & having a shower enclosure fitted.
I decided that it was time for a change & arranged for a visit from a representative of a specialist company for advice on removing the bath & replacing it & the associated shower with a proper walk-in shower enclosure. It did not go particularly well – the survey was completed but the promised plan & quotation never materialised.
Fortunately, a few days later I came across a newspaper advert for ea mobility who are based about 30 miles away from my home. Having made contact, Kevin (the company owner) duly visited on 2nd September completed the survey, showed me a CAD image of the proposed layout, provided a costing and an estimated start date.
I subsequently received a phone call telling me that, as another project had been postponed, an installer would be available to start work on mine earlier so instead of waiting 4 weeks work could start on 4th September – I obviously said “yes please”. Kieran arrived as scheduled on 4th September – he explained that, as the new shower controls would go in the same place as those which existed he could modify and make use of much of the existing pipe work.
His first action was to place protective covering to the hallway carpet. He then quickly removed the bath & set about removing the existing regulator & “digging” a large hole in the wall to create space for the new one – frightening to watch.
Although the shower tray had not yet arrived, he used his experience to accurately judge where “excavation” was required to accommodate the outlet.
I now have a beautiful future proof shower room & can grow old gracefully knowing that if I become less agile, I will not have to struggle to get into a bath. My cousin, who lives locally, is as impressed as I am with the transformation.
Also, as promised, all rubbish was cleared away within a couple of days.
A truly 1st class job.

I am offended by the response from EA MOBILITY
I am offended by the response from EA Mobility.
Please see my earlier review as due to limited character space I can't post this reply in that review.
I did speak with Mr Kevin Carvell and was surprised by his opening remarks during that call. I would have expected him to start by apologising for the damage caused to the walls in our bungalow and how he could help to rectify them but instead all he asked was if the negative reviews didn't need to be left up too long.
In his reply to the earlier review he says "I accept and respect your decision that no further action can or should be taken to resolve this matter which is a pity"
This is untrue, I told him his company could do nothing else to resolve this issue as the damage was already done, it was poor service and you can't rewind back time.
I find this company to be highly offensive as their main priority seems to be getting 5 star reviews and not dealing with the issues in a way befitting a professional company.
In another review on this site, he refers to that person as Mr Barnish, that reviewer is FEMALE and we both find that deeply offensive, while cutting and pasting his reply across various review sites shows his lazy attitude to complaints no matter who he offends.
I at least have worded reviews differently to show I have put some effort in to the reviews while taking note of who's site it is on, as some sites need to be verified by an actual customer/s.
I deeply regret having ever had to deal with this company.

Beware of misleading and false information
Mr Kevin Carvell
I am not Mr Barnish so I'm unsure why you responded to this review. You haven't spoken to me at all. The contract I signed was with Kian Carvell. Does your response mean EA Mobility will not remove misleading or false information from contracts or the brochure?
__________________________________________
We recently had our small bathroom converted to a wet room due to my decreased mobility. It was important to me that I could trust the company doing the work and that it was to a high standard. When we looked into EA Mobility, spoke to their representatives and checked out their website, we were pleased to see they were accredited by Which Trusted Trader. My husband and I thought we had found a business we could trust to do the work.
We didn't want shoddy workmanship so, being assured EA Mobility was a professional company who dealt with disabled clients, that they only use quality disability standard materials and products, they have dedicated in-house installation specialists and we would be allocated our own project manager to ensure everything went smoothly and on time, we thought there would be no issues.
We read reviews from Which Trusted Trader and Trustpilot, read the brochure, then met with an EA Mobility specialist assessor and installation manager before agreeing for them to go ahead with the work. Sadly the information we relied on for choosing the company was based on false (or misleading) information. EA Mobility isn't the cheapest company but we didn't choose them based on price. We chose them based on the information they provided and the time frame involved.
My main concern, which I raised up front, was I needed the bathroom completed by Sunday. We were assured it would be ready as it would take 4 days, but to allow 5 for snagging issues. My mind was put to rest when I read my contract which mentioned weekends and bank holidays. It assured me the work would be completed by Sunday.
My signed contract, under the supply and installation section, states the following:
"You agree to ensure that the site is kept clear... to enable work to be carried out at all reasonable times including weekends and on bank holidays..."
The work took longer than the agreed time frame, then extra time for snagging issues. On day 5 the installer told us they don't work weekends (this was then confirmed by management). The installer spent many hours away from the property, even bringing rubbish from other jobs to add to ours. During the second week into the job he drilled 6 holes through the bathroom wall into the lounge and 2 through to the kitchen, damaging walls and tiling.
EA Mobility brochure includes the following statements:
"A deposit payment secures the next available installation slot and a project manager will be assigned to you."
"Typically the duration of a project is days rather than weeks for the majority of work we complete. However more extensive adaptations involving construction works, will invariably take longer."
Our bathroom didn't require extensive adaptations or construction work, in fact, my husband did some of the prep work. The project manager who inspected it prior to work commencing noted the floor was concrete, assured us it was a straight forward job and confirmed the installation time frame of 4-5 days.
It was difficult to contact our project manager and half way through the job my husband was informed he was on leave. No one had contacted us and he wasn't replaced.
A manager came to see us to discuss our concerns. He said we were given an "unrealistic time frame" and this kind of work normally takes "7-10 days". He said he wrote the contract and the clause about working weekends is just to "assure clients they are serious about getting the job done". We explained this is misleading and shouldn't be in a contract if it isn't true. He then said that "they don't allocate project managers". We pointed out this information is in their brochure so again, if this is incorrect, they should rectify it so as not to mislead other potential customers.
Our new wet room looks okay and the floor vinyl is really nice, but the other products certainly don't seem to reflect the high price tag. When we asked for a priced itemised invoice we were informed they don't do one. I have been left wondering what EA Mobility are really charging disabled people for. To date, the installation engineer has not inspected the works done and we haven't received a completion form.
People dealing with disabilities struggle as it is and, in the end, the installation created more stress than it should have. I would not like others to be misled by false or misleading information. Based on this I cannot recommend EA Mobility.
Installed a complete bathroom/ nightmare for family
Installed a complete bathroom, from start to finish it has been a complete nightmare for an elderly couple who one of them is disabled.
Not worth the price that was paid.
A pipe was installed outside and it leaked inside the extension roof. Toilet leaked upstairs and was given some poor excuse. Boiler was damaged and replaced, Bathroom wasn't finished and was told it was. The elderly lady tried to have a bath and there was no hot water. Flooring wasn't fitted correctly.
Lift in the bath is not working. Workman cancelled last minute. Turned up unannounced
I am absolutely disgusted how a company can charge an obscene amount and provide shabby service.
The amount of time which has been spent trying to sort out every issue that happened.
You are dealing with people with disabilities and elderly. I am worried with what is going to go wrong next, i don't feel confident using your company

Excellent service and value from EA Mobility
EA mobility fitter removed old bath and fitted a new walk-in shower. He was very polite and helpful. He respected our property, arrived at the time he said, and checked everything with us about where we wanted things fitted. He completed the work a day early and we are very satisfied with the result. There was minimal disruption, everything was left sparkling clean and tidy. Although slightly more expensive than other companies, EA Mobility gave extremely good value, and good customer service. We are so pleased with the result. Well done the EA Mobility team from initial survey to final fit.

New shower
Our existing shower was unsuitable for my wife and we needed a low level walk in shower. Our situation was promptly appreciated by the sales team (incidentally, no high pressure sales techniques or rubbishing competitors’ products) and project manager, and especially by Richard, who fitted the shower. As the work went on he confirmed that things like the grab rails and seat were appropriately positioned for my wife, kept me informed if anything expected occurred (like a floor rafter being being in exactly the wrong place) and how he proposed to resolve it, and worked quickly and efficiently. Richard arrived punctually each morning (throughout all appointments were kept at the time agreed) and at the end of each day explained what had been completed so far and what he would be doing the following day. Happy to give this endorsement of his work.
PS: If Richard fits your shower, he likes strong coffee with two sugars!

EA Mobility - A big thank you
EA Mobility, Kings Lynn from start to finish have been brilliant. My elderly mother has had a new, walkin shower, vanity unity and a higher toilet put in her bathroom along with nonslip flooring. Justin was brilliant in handling the initial start to the project and Richard who came in to fit everything was exceptional. He explained everything that he was doing and had done each day he was with my mother. Richard was thoughtful, a tidy worker and was happy to explain things to mum as he went along. He was prepared to go the extra mile to make sure mums bathroom was perfect. I would recommend EA Mobility to all elderly people who need to make their life easier within their own homes.
Thank you EA Mobility
