Seeing all the bad reviews
Seeing all the bad reviews, I won’t go into much detail. But shortly:
1. Ordered an expensive vacuum cleaner
2. It stoped working after 1 use
3. Troubleshooting took so long we missed 30 day return window
4. They sent a new machine after returning the last one
5. It’s been a month and we still haven’t received the machine
6. Customer service is absolutely disgusting, rude and unhelpful and unprofessional
7. Each agent keeps telling same think ‘your order will arrive shortly’ but with every agent I speak (about 4-5 agents) they keep postponing the date
8. Lie stating to your face. Got an email (tracking doesn’t work for exchanges) on the 15th my order has been shipped, CS rep confirmed it. Now the agent is lying straight to my face saying it’s been sent the 19th.. next time they will tell be it was sent in November instead of September? Hahahah I returned it in August.
Their Spanish department is a shame for Dyson as a brand
I was promised a complimentary filter from Dyson as compensation for a late delivery, but it was never provided. Later, when I purchased a new filter, no delivery date was given. The product was delivered to another person without my knowledge, and I was never informed by email of the delivery or its recipient. I had to investigate on my own to discover what happened. This reflects a lack of reliability and professionalism from Dyson in Spain.

Tuve que investigar por mi cuenta para averiguar lo ocurrido. Esto refleja una falta de fiabilidad y profesionalidad por parte de Dyson en España.
Missing order
I made my order more than two weeks ago, it was supposed to take 3-4 days. First it was delayed to be shipped, now it has shipped but tracking shows no progress. I contacted customer service and they refuse to cancel it and says they will get back to me within 5-7 business days. Meanwhile it’s available to purchase on the website. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.
⸻ Disappointing and inconsistent customer service across countries
⸻I moved from the USA to Spain, and before relocating I called Dyson USA to ask if they sold an adapter for the voltage change. I was told such an adapter did not exist, but that Dyson offered a “guarantee” to exchange my machine for one with the correct voltage.
Before leaving the United States, I contacted Dyson Spain. They told me they could not exchange the machine, but that their service center could convert it to the correct voltage. It would not be free, but it would cost only €140, which I paid (and have not been refunded). They registered my machine with its serial number so the process would be faster upon my arrival in Spain.
When I arrived and sent the machine to the service center, it was returned after a week with the explanation that the voltage conversion could not be done. However, customer service continued to tell me it was possible. Eventually, one representative admitted that my model could not be converted—something they could have known from the beginning since they had the serial number all along.
That representative then told me there was no problem and they would replace the machine. But after an hour on the phone, a supervisor (whom I could never speak to directly) denied the replacement. I was told a “case” would be opened, yet no one followed up. Every time I called, I was told the case was closed.
I have made numerous calls without a resolution. Here are some of the case numbers from my calls:

I truly hope Dyson, as a company, can take responsibility and resolve this matter—rather than letting my review become just another record of unanswered calls.

A Complete Nightmare – Avoid at All Costs!
I had the worst experience ordering from Dyson Portugal, and I strongly advise against purchasing anything from them. On June 22, I ordered products to be delivered to the Azores, and it’s been a total disaster since. There have been zero updates on my order, and Dyson’s customer service is an absolute joke. I’ve called multiple times every week, and each time, they promise to follow up in a day or two—spoiler alert: they never do. It’s clear they have no intention of helping or resolving issues.
To make matters worse, Dyson Portugal uses Transaher, a shady shipping company with countless terrible reviews, which pretty much guarantees your package will never arrive. They claim my package is stuck in customs for a delivery from Spain to Portugal, which is absurd for EU countries and smells like a scam. They keep demanding my ID number or NIF, which I’ve provided multiple times, yet nothing moves forward. It’s just excuse after excuse.
The worst part? I convinced a friend to order from Dyson Portugal too, and now we’re both out of pocket with nothing to show for it but wasted time and frustration. This company is completely untrustworthy—save your money and avoid Dyson Portugal at all costs. They’ll lie, stall, and leave you with nothing but regret.
This is a very expensive electric fan and does not cool the air at all.
Very disappointed with this over priced fan. It does not do what it says - it certainly does not cool so no idea why they market the product as a hot and cool. Do NOT waste your money. It is also noisy.

WOW, just WOW. For the price of their products this has got the be one of the worst post-sale supports I've ever faced. Their whatsapp chat is a joke, they transfer you to an agent whos name is Subham oor Amhed or Sahanan. doesn't understand spanish,english or whatever you need, its worse than AI and suuuuper frustrating, I asked a simple quuestion and they literally cannot answer!!!!

Not worth the extra money
I have had a few Dyson V8’s but the batteries only lasted about a year and I had to replace numerous parts due to the brittle plastic parts.
I decided to go for a later model as it was on discount and chose the Dyson V15 Detect Fluffy.
I was not impressed at all as the light showed me just how much dust was left on the marble floors.
It is supposed to be more powerful and have an improved battery but apart from being heavier it was no better.
I am using the heads from my older models as fortunately they fit but this model is not an improvement at all and the extra expenditure even with the discount was a waste of money.
Stick with cheaper models and change them more often to avoid disappointment.

I ordered a Dyson hair dryer on February 12th through the official Dyson.es website for 550 euros. They shipped it via a logistics company named Transaher.es. Today, on February 13th, I received an email stating my order was delivered at 9:45 AM, which is false. I haven't received anything. I contacted Dyson's support via WhatsApp, and they keep telling me to wait while my case is being handled by an "administrative team." It's extremely frustrating and feels like a scam. I discovered numerous negative reviews about both Dyson.es and Transaher.es on Trustpilot, confirming my experience. It's disappointing and unacceptable for a company like Dyson. I hope they resolve this immediately, as this was supposed to be a special gift, and now I'm left with nothing but stress.

Absoutely disgrace!! i ordered an item that was promised to be delivered to me before Christmas!!! as soon as Dyson took my money they vanished i was not given any tracking information and when i purchased the item the sales people gave me incorrect product information and promised that my item would be delivered in time for Christmas!!! its now several days later and not received anything !!!!
Dyson lied to me saying it was at different various post offices and yet it was never there!! I am now out of pocket due to all the taxi costs having to go to different post offices that Dyson told me to go .... then after wasting my time for many days... Dyson they said they handed my parcel to a complete stranger!!! this is not acceptable and i will be starting legal action against Dyson for breach of contract and I will also be calling the police!!!!

I placed an order with Dyson es on the 14th November 2024 and up to today 13th December the order has never arrived I have been given the run around from there so called customer service its a bad service they dont care as they have our money. I have reported the item never turning up at least 8 times and now after them agreeing to refund me I'm now waiting for my money back which again seems to take them forever to sort out. It should not and does not take nearly 3 weeks to refund money its instant as my payment for the the hoover was instant they seem to want to hang onto my funds and not help at all. I will denounce the company if this is not addressed immediately. I have never known such bad service from such a large company
Dyson package undelivered and invoice with forged signature
A package I ordered from Dyson was marked as delivered via Transaher, but I never received it. To make matters worse, the delivery receipt has someone else's signature.
I was the entire day at home waiting and no one came. I only received an email with the invoice in the end of the day saying it was delivered and with the forged signature.
I contacted Dyson, they opened a case to investigate and I am still waiting for resolution, this is not being a good experience.
Apparently this happened to many people that also complained online.

I waited all year for Black Friday to buy myself the Airwrap(500€-not a small price!). I chose to pay in 10 installments.
They took 100€ from my account and suddenly cancelled my order for no reason!
They reimbursed me only 50€ and I’m still waiting for the other 50€.
When I contacted the customer service they just told me to wait for 15days to be reimbursed and that they can give me the Black Friday discount but I can only pay in full, I can get the 10installments!
What a horrible experience, it’s a well played scam since they took 50€ from me without giving me the money back and are forcing me to pay in on installment (I won’t).

Defective machine from the outset.
Eighteen months later, two times returned to Dyson for repair and the machine is still faulty. Let alone literally hundreds of messages to Customer Services that are mostly ignored.
I am still waiting for a response to a complaint made in April! They just tell me that it has been escalated (after I contacted them following 6 months of silence.)
Do not tell me to contact Customer Services or raise a complaint ticket Dyson, because you will do nothing about it!

I purchased a Dyson Wash G1 in late August this year.
I immediately had problems.
The tray at the bottom of the machine meant to collect debris kept falling off. I could see it had been engineered about 1 cm shorter than the catch to hold it on. Not a great start. I took it back to the store and they apologised went into the back and gave me a replacement part off another new machine which was built to the correct specifications and stayed on the machine.
Then I got the machine home and used it for a week or so with no problems. Then an electrical problem appeared that kept saying that the dirty water tank needed emptying. I tried everything I could multiple times to clear the warning to no avail. I contacted Dyson who after having me jump through several hoops and an elapsed period of time of several weeks eventually agreed it was a manufacturing defect and they offered me a refund or to send me a free of charge replacement machine.
Two weeks later the new machine arrived. I gave it a test run, all good, appeared to working fine. The following weekend we got the 2nd machine out to do a full clean of the tiled floors and 20 seconds in the same fault reoccurred that had appeared in the first machine. A warning that completely stops the machine from working that says clean the dirty water tank. I then went back to Dyson and said that as this is obviously a manufacturing defect I would like a refund which I had been offered previously.
Dyson refused and said that as it was more than 30 days since I purchased the first machine that they have a strict no refund policy. Why if that was the case wasn’t I told that when I was given the alternative or a replacement machine, that if I choose the replacement machine, that even if the replacement machine doesn’t work – which it doesn’t – I wouldn’t be offered a refund a 2nd time.
To add insult to injury Dyson then went on to say that the store I had bought the machine from Wortens (one of the largest electrical retailers in our area) was not an official distributor. Only when you buy from Dyson official distributors can you get a refund if the product is substandard.
So I am stuck with a very expensive machine the doesn't work. In my opinion it has been launched to market before it was ready and is not fit for purpose. I would warn anyone considering to buy this product to think carefully before proceeding.

I regret immensely having ordered from them. The website says 24 to 72 hours, it’s now eight days and still nothing has been delivered. When you contact their WhatsApp, you don’t get a reply during office hours even after 15 minutes and when you call the hotline, you will get an arrogant dude who couldn’t care less. Their machines may be great but their service and overall experience as a web shop is absolute trash.
