Delivery and communication issue
I ordered 3800 dollars worth of furniture on June 29. However, there is a clear moving target as it relates to a delivery date. I wish I read the reviews before ordering from Duraweather Poly. It appears that the quality is very good but their shipping process is beyond terrible. If you need the furniture in a reasonable time or at least just need to know when it is likely to arrive do not order from this company. I could have bought a similar quality product from my local dealer without the delivery drama. The communication between Duraweather and their shipping company is non existent. I was told the furniture would be picked up by the shipping company on the week of August 11th. I was then told the shipping company has picked up the furniture and I should be receiving tracking information by email and phone call. Based on that information I drove 5 hours to the residence where the furniture is being shipped. And planned on staying here for a few days to be around for delivery. Fast forward- no tracking number, no email, no phone call and no furniture.
After reading the reviews and responses I am starting to see a pattern. A lot of people are experiencing the same shipping issues and the responses are defensive and non corrective. This would be easily fixable with better communication with your customers and a better business relationship with your shipping company.

Terrible Customer Service
Looking for Adirondack chairs, this place had a nice selection, looking at the website it implied the chairs would be delivered in 2-3 days. We moved forward with the purchase, and after ordering the delivery time changes from 2-3 days to at least 4-6 weeks! Emails have gone unanswered, but it seems they respond to these reviews. Fingers crossed.
*Update - 3 days have passed from this review, 5 days since my initial 2 emails sent; ZERO communication from duraweather. ZERO.
*Update - After contacting "orderinquiries" at their email address (and only after contacting this email address) did I receive a response, apologizing etc, and miraculously my order was ready to ship! So after placing my order and as per the website expecting it to arrive by August 15th, it finally arrived on August 30th. I informed the company of their misleading lead time on the website, and nothing has changed, it still promises 3 days for delivery, don't be fooled. Chairs were nice, took about an hour each to assemble. I felt the instructions could have a little more detail. All necessary tools needed are provided. I used a drill to help with screwing in the bolts and screws, but use cautiously and tighten manually. Chairs seem ok for now.
*Final Update: We had ordered a side table along with our chairs, the table arrived with a slight chip on the corner of one of the end slats. I brought this to the attention of Duraweather who surprisingly responded very quickly and once the part was identified I was informed a replacement slat would be shipped. After 10 days of not hearing anything, they finally responded to inform me that they will be sending me what is essentially a scrap piece of wood with the finish chipped by some screw holes that are not applicable to the piece I have, and their logic is, it will be underneath, so you won't see it. Quality customer service right there. I mentioned earlier this was my final update, that is because I told them not to bother. If their idea of resolving this issue is to send me a scrap piece for a replacement, I am done with them. As I stated earlier, the furniture seems nice enough, but their customer service is woefully lacking.

Disappointing first experience
Woefully I have to echo the same experience as other customers.
I ordered two chairs on July 1. I received a confirmation of the order and an estimated delivery date between July 15-30. July 31st arrived and no shipment…so I reached out. The DuraWeather team did respond quickly but it took a few days to sort out when I should expect my shipment. On August 4th I was told that my shipment would go out ‘at the end of next week’. I was pretty excited…but now it’s August 17th and still nothing. I have sent another email requesting an update.
Here’s my big issue:
If they had been honest up front about how much time it was going to take, it would have allowed me to make a more informed decision about the product. Quality takes time…I get that…but as a consumer I need the timing information to decide what company/product I want to purchase to fit my need. In this case, I would have gone with a different option because I have family coming on holiday and ordered these chairs so we could enjoy the outdoors in my brand new patio.
I would have also really appreciated updates from the company. If they had reached out to say ‘hey so sorry it’s a super busy season and we know how excited you are to receive your chairs…but we are delayed, here’s a new date’ that would have also gone a really long way!!
In summary:
1. Bad estimation of when you will get your order
2. No pro-active communication
3. Still no chairs for my special family get together
UPDATED SEPTEMBER 3:
The three promised shipments dates have now passed and still no chairs. At this point it feels like just empty promises and lies from the customer service team who NEVER provide updates without me repeatedly reaching out. I have notified my banking company and filed formal complaints. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

Colors don't match, holes don't line up, poor quality hardware
Update to my post below:
If you notice a common theme among all their numerous negative reviews, Duraweather Poly seems to only respond to posts about delivery fulfillment issues.
They seem to ignore any posts concerning their "Quality"
Nothing but crickets from them after saying they have sent the replacement request to their "Production" team.
I would certainly have posted the pictures I sent to their "Quality Control" email address that clearly shows their color mis-match and molding defect, but their review site here doesn't allow for posting pictures.
Funny how right after product delivery but before I made the original post, they sent a standard review request asking me to send pictures of the furniture in its 'Native Environment" so they could post them to their "controlled" reviews on their site. Guess they didn't like that my "Native Environment" pictures exposed their quality issues because they didn't post my review.
*********
Original Post:
This is the second pair of Adirondack chairs I have ordered from DuraWeather. The quality and craftsmanship of the second pair is disappointing compared to the first pair.
Color doesn't match between parts, predrilled holes didn't line up and screws/bolts had metal shavings attached to them.
You can see in the pictures that the arms of these two chairs are a different color as compared to the back and the seat. Also, there is a defect in the left arm of the chair in their molding process.
When emailing DuraWeather’s Quality Control department, I was told:
“Per production, the slight variation in color may be due to the poly lumber material’s extrusion process. Please note that some poly lumber materials can naturally vary in shade. However, they’ve confirmed that all pieces you received are in Antique Mahogany.
As for the replacement, I’ve already informed production, and they’ll get back to me by tomorrow. I’ll update you as soon as I hear back”
I can tell you that there was no color variation in the first set of chairs I ordered, all parts match perfectly. I only ordered the second pair because I was so impressed by the first set. Not anymore.
DuraWeather loves to talk about their quality, at least up until you have a problem, then they ghosted me. 15 days ago, their email said they were getting with “Production” concerning replacement parts and would hear back the next day.
I haven’t received any communication since. When you try to call them, the recording says to please email, so it is impossible to speak to a human unless you’re placing an order, then they’re more than happy to speak with you.

Beware of Customer Service
We ordered a 3 piece counter set back in June. Delivery was to be between June 30 & July 29. Today is Aug 12 and we don’t even have a ship date! Several texts and they say they will get back to us “tomorrow”. What is really frustrating is they charged our card immediately and did not wait til shipment! So they have our money and we have no idea when this product will be shipped let alone delivered! Very poor customer service. I hope this product is worth the wait. $1,529.10 and here we are….they have our money and we have run out of patience. Very frustrating!!
UPDATE: Their reply to my review stated shipment would be next week. Well, “next week” is over unless they are working Saturday & Sunday. Still no word that shipment has taken place. I checked with FedEx and their page says they haven’t received the order yet. This is really bad customer service. They charged our card as soon as we ordered….that shouldn’t happen until the product is shipped! We ordered this on June 23, 2025 so tomorrow it will be 2 months! Now we are just hoping when this does finally reach us that it is exceptionally good quality. Will do another update when we finally receive this merchandise.
UPDATE #2 We received our shipment today (Sat, Aug 30, 2025) but have a problem. FedEx only delivered 2 of the 3 boxes. We are missing the table that goes with the 2 counter height chairs we ordered. We have assembled the chairs and found some of the holes do not line up. I have also noticed on some of the pieces there are “snibbles” of material attached to the boards. One cutting looks wavy. Maybe they needed to replace a dull blade? I don’t know what the answer to that is. Just looks shoddy. I’m really disappointed in the service and quality. No, I cannot recommend to buy from this company. I was hoping after waiting way past the due date for shipment that it would all be good. Not so much! As for their customer service they have yet to notify us that our goods were shipped! This company needs an overhaul in customer service and quality control.
UPDATE#3 We finally did get this all straightened out. We did get the table, the first one was “lost”. The wavy cuts on the chair arms were taken care of. They sent replacements. (I sent pictures to them of the defective arms) The gentleman I worked with was very nice, apologized for the shoddy work, and sent replacements fairly quick. Considering the time frame of this entire purchase, I really can’t recommend purchasing. We should have bought local. After all the hassle and waiting time and then to receive what looked to be “seconds”, we were very disappointed. No, we won’t be ordering from them again due to our experience.

Poor Service
Ordered 2 chairs, DuraWeather charged my credit card 768.00 and it’s been 2 months and no chairs. I have left 3 emails trying to get a ship date with NO response. Their Website says they will return email inquiries within 24 to 48 hours. Very frustrated with their delivery times and more importantly their lack of customer response.

Liars & Excuses but NO Furniture 🤷 - Updates
Placed my order for a table and chairs on June 5, 2025 for $2700 and on the website the shipping window was stated (Jun26 to July 15). My first email was sent on June 28 to see if I could get some feedback on shipping. The next day I was greeted with a snarky email from Hainz including a screenshot of the website showing the shipping window noted above. So I wait a few more weeks and send email on July 16 for status. Get a response that states they will check on status. Now shipping is between 7/20- 7/28 with excuses of labor shortage blah blah blah. They offer me a neck pillow as a sign of appreciation for my patience. I want a discount and they tell me to go pound sand. Then I’m told furniture will ship on 7/28 and tracking will be sent that evening or the following day (7/29). I sent email on 7/30 for shipping update/tracking and it has been silence since then. What a complete joke. Caveat emptor.
**Update** 08/09/25. Increased my review from 1 star to 3 stars. Received delivery today - it took two months from initial order. Furniture was well packed and arrived undamaged. Easy assembly with predrilled holes. All hardware is 316 stainless steel which is great. 6 chairs and table took about 3 hours to assemble. One arm rest was missing one predrilled hole but that was an easy fix. Each chair requires 14 screws and takes about 15min to assemble using a cordless drill with torx and square bit. They do provide T-handle wrenchs if you don’t have a drill and bits. This furniture is heavy but chairs are manageable with one person, but the table is requires two people to move. The odd part is that the table height is 31.5” and the seat height on the chairs is 17.75” which makes you feel like your a kid sitting at the grownups table (btw I’m 5’-11”). We ordered 3” thick seat cushions to compensate for the height difference (+$250 on top of the $2700 spent on the furniture). I’ll update this review after I receive the cushion and hopefully they make the seating more comfortable.
**2nd Update** 08/15/25 - Unfortunately 3” thick cushions didn’t help. The only other option is to trim off a few inches from the base support that connects to the table and redrill the thru bolt connection holes. Not hard but really for $2700??

We ordered the bench and a couple of chairs, and they showed up earlier than expected. Setup was straightforward, and they feel really well made. They’ve been through a few storms already and haven’t budged. Definitely exceeded our expectations.

This furniture has completely upgraded our patio vibe. It’s sleek, super durable, and surprisingly comfortable. We’ve already spent way more time outside this summer just enjoying the space. Would totally recommend to anyone looking for a no-fuss setup with great results.
STAY AWAY
STAY AWAY! Was charged $3,000 over 2 months ago, never received package and have been lied to numerous times about delivery date. Now they won’t give me a date and aren’t responding to messages

I wasn’t expecting the quality to be this good, especially at this price point. These pieces feel solid and have handled the crazy Midwest weather like champs. Also, customer support was super helpful when I had a shipping question. 10/10.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY
We thought we were purchasing a plastic poly dining set for out patio. We have an inground pool and needed something durable and maintenance free. We had no idea how incredibly heavy this furniture is. Chair are heavy to move for an adult not alone a child. The table and chairs have stains from water, rain and things spilled. Some chairs have wood lifting up already which can cause splinters. I am disgusted with this set (purchased in March 2025 but not assembled until May due to our weather in upstate NY) I have contacted this company by phone which you can only talk to a sales rep. I've emailed 4 times including photos to get absolutely no response. Do not purchase anything from this company. No customer satisfaction at all. I have never had to leave a negative review for any company but this one deserves it.

Having trouble getting my items.
I was excited about ordering some Adirondack chairs and some other items from Dura weather including a side table and two Ottomans/foot rests. One of the main reasons that I ordered from this company was because of their good reviews and the claim of rapid shipping. It has been 2 weeks since I ordered my furniture and I’m getting it little by little. I received the table and then about a week or so later, I received the 2 foot rests. I’ve emailed them as requested with no response and I’ve called. I have spoken with somebody in customer service on two or three occasions. The customer service reps are very difficult to understand and the connection is terrible. I keep getting apologies and I’m told that my items are going to ship, but they’re not arriving as I was told they would. Customer service was unable to explain why to me, but she says that unfortunately they are too busy in production to talk to me. I am really getting tired of dealing with this company.

Update on 5/30/25
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I have still not gotten an update from them even though they said that they sent me a text yesterday. I did not receive any text messages from them. The woman that answers the phone refuses to let me speak with anyone else. I have contacted FedEx and opened a case with them and they are investigating the matter. Hopefully they will be able to get some positive results for me, but if not, I will contact my financial institution and cancel all payment to them, and I will ship back the items that I received. Be very wary of them.

Impressive Durability and Great Value
We’ve been using this set for nearly a year now and I’m still amazed at how well it’s holding up. It’s been through rain, sun, and snow, and it hasn’t shown any signs of wear. The material is tough and seems practically weatherproof. The only small downside was some slightly confusing labeling during setup, but otherwise, the value is unbeatable.
Ordered Tete a tete counter height…
Ordered Tete a tete counter height chairs. There was a delay in shipping, and it was a little difficult getting information on delivery date. The biggest problem was the assembly of the chairs after we received them. The instructions were on one page (in writing only, no illustrations). The first couple of lines were printed clearly, but on the rest of the page the print was very light and very difficult to read ( like the printer was running out of ink) We got the instructions for the second chair out hoping they would be printed clearly, but they were exactly the same. The website states it takes 10-15 per chair for assembly, but unfortunately this was not the case.

We used our tete-a-tete set all last…
We used our tete-a-tete set all last summer, and it stayed outside uncovered—even during some wild Illinois storms. It’s still in fantastic shape, showing no wear or fading. The material is super tough and holds up great in all conditions. Definitely one of the best outdoor furniture purchases we’ve made.
After getting our first Adirondack…
After getting our first Adirondack chairs, we were so impressed that we didn’t hesitate to order a second set along with a table. They’re perfect for lounging and hosting friends by the fire pit. The quality is top-notch, and I can see these lasting for many years. So glad we made the purchase!
Stylish, Sturdy & Comfortable These chairs are everything we hoped for!
They’re super comfortable to sit in and add such a charming look to our backyard. Assembly was really simple thanks to the clear instructions. They’re also easy to clean, which is a big plus. I’m extremely satisfied and would absolutely buy from this brand again.
Perfect for Campfires!
We recently got our Adirondack chairs and couldn’t be happier! Setting them up was a snap—we barely had time to put them together. They’re now our go-to chairs for sitting around the campfire. The quality feels solid, and I can tell they’ll last us many seasons. We loved them so much that we decided to grab the matching deck chairs and table set. Highly recommend!
These chairs are comfy
These chairs are comfy, sturdy, and stylish! Love the built-in cup holders—perfect for outdoor lounging. Totally worth it!
