Disgusting example of a company. A total and utter scam. Sadly Halifax credit card has been completely useless in helping me get reimbursed £179 and their customer service is diabolical.

I was tricked into paying for the PRO service and they wont refund me 699dhs.

The box they make you tick looks like a normal T&C box, but it is you signing up for a 699dhs service. They take it out of your account 1 month later so you dont realise.

They refuse to refund and have terrible customer service.

This has clearly been done on purpose based on the number of bad reviews online.

I have also received a debit of Aed699 from desert cart automatically and would like to have it reimbursed . It is a criminal offense and will be reporting to police with all other victims of this attrosity of theft.
I wish to know the person to contact in desertcart to have my monies reimbursed.

A complete and utter scam. Was charged 699 aed for A WHOLE YEAR after a free trial! Tried to dispute it but they mentioned sending me an email informing me the trial was ending. The email was titled “ desertcart PRO keeps getting better!” so I obviously didn’t open it! Very very misleading and they are of no help whatsoever. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Whole web site is a con stay away, they lie and lie and try to con you into £179 for postage then give you a month free trial and then tell you order is delayed for weeks clearly planning to run over the one month free trial, I then asked to cancel the order and the same day it was delayed its been dispatched they said after inmforming me there was supply issues mear hours earlier. It cleary has not been dispatched and this email has been sent to prevent refund as they only told me 4 hours ago it was a minimum of 3 weeks till it was back in stock and was subject to further delays. Lying cheating thieves, i have contacted my credit card company

Making money by looting people.

Deceptive company! They sign you up to 1 year membership without asking and they failed to also remind me (as other serious companies do) before subscription was activated after 1 month. They just charged me the subscription with no option to get a refund!

I give no star ratings actually. I ordered a tee shirt for my grandson, his chosen site £88.00 and somehow Desertcart sneakily signed me up to an annual membership which cost £179.00 . They do this by offering you free shipping, but the catch is that you signing up to there PRO Membership, unfortunately I was caught out, they refused to refund me, even though I explained I was pensioner and that this was a complete mistake, I would like to share this so others are not caught the same way, so my tee shirt has cost me £267.00

Extremely deceptive company that basically uses cunning methods to trick people into becoming PRO members without any reminders. Yes when people sign up to the trial period they are told that they will be charged the exorbitant fees (approx $200 US) once the trial period is over but the company does not give customers a reminder towards the end of the trial period that they will soon be charged. This is typical needless-to-say GOOD PRACTICE for any self respecting company that actually cares about its customers! When I explained my situation to their customer service they refused to provide me with a refund even though I explained to them that I am a mother of three children and simply couldn’t afford this yearly membership fee that they simply stole from me. Never use this platform. Not only are their products completely overpriced - they are a SCAM!!

Googled Sennheiser RS 120-W headphones and they showed as £100 from Desertcart versus £119 on most other sites. Clicked on the link and they came up on the Desertcart site as £190 reduced to £160!! Not sure how they think people will still buy at grossly inflated prices after being tricked by a low price to click through to desertcart?!

Despite the bad reviews I was aware of, I reluctantly placed my order and just because I found on Desertcart exactly the item and size I was looking for.
As first I received their welcome message for Pro Family, confirming that the FREE TRIAL would expire on Nov 24 after which I would be charged with the subscription amount. Shortly later I received their regular order confirmation, estimated delivery 5th Nov. All good at the first glimpse..

The morning after, at wake-up I found their order cancellation message, without explanation.

Now I am trying to cancel the Free Pro Membership trial which, as per their description, can be cancelled at any time. But: my account says "no active membership" wherefore I cannot cancel it. This means that - even they make us believe the contrary - obviously the free period cannot be cancelled. They aim to get the first subscription payment and only after that, probably, the subscription may be cancelled. THIS IS FRAUD!!!
Having paid through Paypal, as first thing I have removed my card. In addition to this, I will inform authorities, however, not being sure to what it may lead.

Desertcart.ae uses 'Dark Pattern' subscription scheme. I set out to make a once-off purchase from desertcart.ie on my mobile phone. I didn't opt-in for PRO Subscription; it was selected by default, placed among multiple similar look'n'feel buttons, small 'Change' text (no checkbox), and away from the 'Buy' button.
I used Apple Pay for a faster checkout.
Received one subsequent email that at the time I dismissed as yet-another-marketing-email, which contained a line about free trial ending at the end of the body of the email; nothing prominent.
The sneaky free trial period lapsed and I was charged in full €179 for annual subscription that I never wanted.
Completely dupped, I have significantly lower trust for any online retailer. I wish I'd checked TrustPilot; 1.3 stars says it all!!!
