Received a defective pillow cover. Sent photo of the problem. Requested that I return at my own expense. Postal and tariff fees were higher than value of the pillow cover. Company did not offer to discard and replace.

ERGO PILLOW COULD BE HAZARDOUS TO YOUR HEALTH.

When I wrote to Derila for a refund they offered me free gifts to keep the pillow. WTF? This how Derila does business? They aren’t in business to sell medically necessary products, but bilk people in need out of their money. It’s predatory!

NOTE: the Derila website reviews are highly suspect. They’re all 5 star, and not open to public reviews.

The following is my response to Derila’s refusal to pay for return shipping on their dubious Ergo pillow. I will be notifying the FDA (Food & Drug Administration) and the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) regarding the false advertising and serious health hazard the Ergo pillow represents. Over the few nights I used the Ergo, my air supply from my BiPAP was cut off several times, tripling my sleep apnea events. I woke feeling unrested, with headaches, a sore throat. I had to get up in the middle of the night to switch my pillow. Sleep events after my pillow charge dropped by half!

The research on the Ergo does not support Derila’s multiple claims. In fact, the Ergo pillow does quite the opposite, and it’s bad!

I tried to use the Ergo for 3 nights, and they were some of my worst nights in a long time. The pillow kept closing off my BiPAP air supply and loosening the seal on my mask. The pillow is not a one size fits all. It was too big. It threw off my cervical alignment and left me with neck pain, headaches, and a sore throat.

Ordered 1 pillow and was charged for 2. When I rang to correct the order I was told I was too late as it was processed. It took 10 days to arrive. Irequested via their website a returns form without success. I rang them 4 times requesting a returns form and was asured it would be emailed. I gave 3 different email address but still no communication from them. They are crooks.

To me, the pillows seem dubious. I've owned mine for two weeks and I'm still uncertain about their effect on my Sleep Apnea or if they've provided any other advantages. I've seen reviews that rate this product much higher, but I question their authenticity. It takes a while to get used to them. I spent £110 on two pillows, not including the pillowcases, and since then I've received numerous emails. They've also attempted to market various products to me, including two pillowcases for £30. I feel like I've been deceived.

Product was too slow to arrive. I wanted to return in original package. Instead they tried to sell me something else. Then they sent a non-existent link to print a return ticket. Package is unopened and needed only an address label to paste over the original one. Instead they sent something difficult to use and required a lot of time and tape. I haven't tried the product but I'd never tbuy anything else from them.

An appalling product from an appalling company. The pillows remain rock hard several weeks after delivery. The company hides behind automated feel good emails but does nothing. Just watch the standard reply to this review.

Its a spammer. I literally getting one spam email from you every day!!

**UPDTAE I finally received a full refund. I can’t give them full 5 stars due to then aggravation of the experience but I will take it off one.

Wish I would have read this first and saved my delete headaches. I ordered this pillow and right after I ordered it the shipping date changed from 7 day delivery to weeks! That’s not what it said when I started the order. Within an hour my conscious mind said WTH and I canceled it. They are claiming they never received any of my SEVERAL emails and didn’t cancel within the 24 hours. Even though I proved it. Total SCAM. NOW I HAVE TWO PILLOWS THAT ARE PROBABLY CRAP ON THE WAY.

Do NOT waste your money or time. RUN AWAY FAST!!

TLDR: Mis-advertising, bunkum claims, questionable ordering processes, poor quality, unreasonable conditions, returns impossible.

So I purchased a Derila Ergo pillow directly from the Derila website. The primary reason for this was the claims that it would give me (and more importantly my partner) a silent night's sleep. I'm a heavy snorer and it's getting worse with age.
But first the ordering process. When I went to checkout, the page failed to load when it went to my banking app for approval. I should've seen the warning signs then and walked away. I then started receiving text messages stating I'd not completed my order (I gave no permission for this).

The following day I went back to the site and re-ordered this time using PayPal. Despite selecting 1 pillow, when I got to the checkout page, 2 had been pre-selected but I spotted this and corrected it to 1. I completed this purchase with PayPal, but then the website offers you various add-ons and different covers. I did choose to get a 'thermo regulating' cover. To my horror this automatically ordered and deducted my Paypal account, without taking me back to Paypal. I discovered later that the first purchase had set up 'automatic payments' for the company without my knowledge. That's just so dodgy.

Less than an hour after completing my order, I received a phone call from Derila trying to sell me the other add-ons I'd not selected.

So the pillow and cover arrived in 10 days, which was fine. I was really excited to try it. I immediately changed th standard cover for the thermos cover. I was rather disappointed at the quality of the pillow inside. It was literally just raw foam, which looked like it had been cut to shape with a Stanley knife. Thee were some raw edges, that would be damaged over time just by regularly changing the covers.

Now the thing is, I've been using an app to monitor my snoring and above a certain noise level it will vibrate my watch to try to get me to move and stop, which is mostly subconscious. I've also been using a mouthguard to stop my jaw from collapsing and closing my airway. With a combination of both, I've gradually got the number of 'alerts' per night down below 100 (down from several hundreds), with the majority of these being subconscious (I'm often not aware of any, or just a few). My first night with the Derila pillow resulted in me snoring for 70% of the time and generated 1,391 alerts!

To be sure it wasn't teething issues, I tried another 2 nights, 1 with and 1 without my mouthguard. In both cases I was awakened by my watch before midnight. I abandoned the Derila pillow and reverted to my standard pillows. The difference was stark when I checked my app in the morning. The snore graphic was red and amber up to the point in time when I changed pillows, and was instantly yellow and even green.

I therefore had evidence that this does not work. The website claims are completely false.

So I fill out the online form requesting a return and refund. I kept getting the same standard response back, and never receiving an RMA form or RMA number to proceed with the return. A point here is that they kept saying the product needed to be returned in original undamaged packaging. Such packaging was a plastic bag, heavily taped shut due to the memory pillow being compressed inside. It is not possible to open the packaging without damage (I'm sure they know this). This unreasonable requirement is not permissible under The Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK).

After a week of this, I phoned them. They said that I am not able to have a refund on the pillow as I have used it. It still says on the product page on the Derila website "30-NIGHT RISK-FREE TRIAL". I asked, how am I supposed to trial the product, if I am not able to use it? They would not answer, just kept saying I couldn't return it.

So I'm £75 out of pocket for a piece of useless cr@p. Avoid this swindler company. Avoid their products. If I could give zero stars, I would!

I believe that this company is a scammer disguising itself as an online retailer. It uses dark patterns to fool customers into ordering multiples of items, refuses to cancel ordeers, and insists that refunds can only be made by returning unwanted goods to Lithuania.

Complaints to Paypal are useless. They appear to be complicit in endorsing this shonky begaviour.

What a rip off these pillows are a complete waste of money and they are trying to avoid their responsibilities regarding my consumer rights I am currently in conversation with Barclaycard who are investigating them stay clear please

Derila Pillow - don't be conned
After reading other comments I see there is no satisfaction with the after sales service provisions and difficulty in obtaining refunds. This confirmed my decision to present a review. Woohoo! Firstly, I wish to acknowledge ..... it is my error in not checking Product Review or Choice beforehand. Lesson learned. I WANTED THIS PRODUCT TO WORK. Well my review ... what a CON. This is the most disgraceful product I have ever purchased. SCAM.

Purchased 3 pillows, pillow cases and cooling covers. The 'pillow' is rubbish. Vacuumed sealed (thought clever & plus for the environment) . I have opened 2 of the 3 pillow. My plain flour pancakes with no raising agent rise more than this piece of .... !

I have tried everything to get the pillow to raise. After 36 hrs, in desperation I spritzed some Tadalafil over the flat pack pillow to get a raise.

No rise. Just made it harder.

My flat pack does not perform the way it is supposed to. Instructions are hopeless. I also checked out Youtube videos for instructions. Influencer videos are well .... I believe misleading. Shame. Why did my pillows not perform the same way? Do they suffer performance anxiety?

Any difference in quality of sleep? YES! Negative. I have had no sleep. I have been emotionally disturbed by the lack of performance of the product. I suffer extreme anxiety now looking at any pillow. Will it perform? Will it follow the lead of this piece of ..... and stay limp? Do I have enough Tadalfil to spritz my current pillow so it does not lose shape? Oh well..... more sessions with my Therapist.

I can't wait to receive an AI message response to .... up to me. Same email as everyone else. Useless. Watch this space.

Tried including a link to Choice website Australia in this review. Not allowed. Google Choice Australia and search for Derila Pillow. Same with Product Review Australia. Do read the website responses.

Scam no phone number no email address they are filthy scammers…. should be banned from the internet completely.

As others have already said: This company send you lots of spam e-mails with a number of names/products/domains, which of course I never signed up for. They break GDPR laws and likely a number of marketing laws.
- There is no way to unsubscribe
- Marketing e-mails are sent from fake domains

It does not matter how many times you contact them, they keep saying that they have removed your e-mail, but keep sending spam. What's the point?

The business hide behind many different brand names and with the same kind of websites – just different products and different spam.

This company placed my order, without my confirmation. They must be using some recording system to store the data. I have definetly not placed the order, closed the page, after I've read the ratings and next day they send me the order confirmation and charged from PayPal, sending out products, I have not ordered!! Unbelievable this company.I've tried to call the support phone number in germany, the numer does NOT exist. I want my money refunded asap. Support bot sends out same reply over & over again. Sorry, this is a huge Scam!!

Update Oct.2nd - Products have been delivered today, (without confirmed order from my side). I want to send the stuff back, have written the support, who hasn't reacted a bit to trying to cancel the "order" to avoid unneccesary shipping. No reaction on several msg's i've sent from Derila, only automated replies waisting time. I have contacted my bank today and revocated the forced debit. As well I will report my house bank Derila as fraudulent company. The german support phone number on their website is not valid. The products seem to come from Hongkonk. Does anyone here has their shipping adress? I doubt, I will ever receive a proper reply to return the unwanted products.

As the whole pillow deal sounds like a scam and your website lies about what the pillow does for you, but all they want from me is return postage which i feel is not good enough,
