Faye was great. I am in the preliminary stages of my case now, but so far so good.

I am very very happy with all the help and support I have had from the team. From the very beginning I felt listened to. I have had full confidence in Rebecca, she has always given me honest advice. I am so glad my husband saw the article in a newspaper, about someone who had the same thing happen to them that happened to me. I would throughly recommend Dental law. They have exceeded my expectations, in getting a settlement. Thank you Rebecca and the whole team.

Dental Law was recommended to me by a local solicitors who do medical but not dental negligence. Thus far I have been comforted and encouraged by the experience. Ben spent an hour taking a detailed statement from me, preliminary to receiving a decision about whether DL would be able to pursue my case. Happily they have agreed to take it on and I feel reassured that I will get good guidance going forward. The situation, I felt, was too complicated for me to handle on my own.

I strongly advise anyone considering Dental Law Partnership (DLP) to read this carefully before instructing them.
I terminated DLP’s retainer after months of delays, contradictory advice, and complete lack of substantive legal work on my dental-negligence case. They never prepared pleadings, never produced a schedule of loss, never engaged in any meaningful negotiations, and never provided an itemised ledger of their work despite multiple requests.
After I accepted the Defendant’s Part 36 offer **personally** (having already withdrawn DLP’s authority), DLP still allowed the insurer to send my £15,000 damages to them, even though they had **no authority to receive those funds**. They also failed to provide any cost schedule or legal bill that would normally justify a solicitor’s involvement. To this day, no proper ledger has ever been provided to me.
The overall impression is that DLP were prepared to take credit — and funds — for work they simply did not do.
Serious concerns about their behaviour have already been raised with both the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and the Legal Ombudsman (LeO). I believe regulatory scrutiny is essential when a firm asserts entitlement to client compensation while providing no documentary evidence of substantive work, no authority, and refusing to supply any itemised billing.
My experience with DLP involved:
• no substantive litigation work
• no expert instructions
• no quantum analysis
• no negotiations after an unsupported counter-offer
• no progress on disclosure
• no settlement documents prepared
• no ledger or cost breakdown ever provided
• and ultimately, my damages being diverted to a firm that no longer represented me
This is not just poor service — it raises questions about competence, transparency, and professional ethics.
If you value clarity, accountability, and genuine legal representation, I strongly recommend choosing a different firm. The risk of delays, miscommunication, and financial mishandling is too high based on my experience.
I hope my review helps others avoid the serious problems I faced with Dental Law Partnership.

The experience was made easy to follow all the relevant steps correctly as legal documents can seem daunting and hard to understand. But the explanation of the process and support was greatly appreciated and thankfully came to a good result.

In what has been only described as 'an awful time', I was so impressed by how lovely the Dental Law Partnership were during my initial call. They showed sympathy and listened to everything I had to say. They quickly reviewed my evidence and phoned me the day after to tell me that they're pursing my claim. Thank you.

This was my first consultation with the DLP service, and I had a very positive experience. Ms J Welsh was extremely attentive throughout. She listened carefully to what I had to say and made sure she understood my concerns before offering support. I really appreciated her thoughtful and professional approach. Thank you for making my first consultation feel supported and valued.

When going to a solicitorit its always a last resort and always stressful. When dealing with you the important thing you did was 'listen' people are usually at a very low point and most situations are never straightforward. You get directed to GDC who quite frankly do not actually help the victim.the person I dealt with was empathetic but at the same time managing to get the correct information needed for them to make an informed decision.
