Bad customer service

The website stated that they had 2 of my chosen item instore at the Cartagena branch.

I travelled 1 hour to the store. They had NONE but the website continued to report that they had 2.

The staff?...couldn't care less!

Terrible experience!!Racist behaviour

Terrible experience!!! Agressive staff !Shop assistant Vanesa wanted to fight me for wanted my money back,telling me " i dont speak french even tho im british and by the way was speaking spanish( why is my ethnicity has got anything to do with it? Why am i racially profiled? For wanted the staff to rectify an error that they have made?Why is decathlon allows that kind of discriminated behaviour, Vanesa through my change on the desk extremely agressive second shop assistant Noelia shrugging shoulder when asking for explanation..and telling " why do want me to do about it? How is this allowed?.. witnessed saw everything ...im speechless terrible extremely disappointed decathlon accept that kind of behaviour !

Terrible terrible terrible!!

Terrible terrible terrible!!! Decathlon ‘marketplace’ allowing third party vendors to sell overpriced goods on their site and taking no accountability for the transactions or products. Awful customer service and Decathlon, when did you abandon your principles?

Excellent service

I called to the San Javier outlet & dealt with an extremely helpful girl called Vero. I explained that I wished to purchase a Segway E scooter on a Click & Collect basis. She advised that it would be E100 cheaper to buy online . She then completed the order on my phone in a timely fashion. An excellent and kind employee. Within 2 days I collected my boxed E Bike & another helpful girl proceeded to bring the box on a trolley to my car. At home I assembled the bike but felt that i had an issue with a quick release lever on the bike stem. I returned to the store immediately. I was greeted by the friendly store guard who I had talked briefly to earlier that day. I explained my difficulty & he quickly got me a male assistant & they solved the problem immediately which incidentally was of my own doing. I cannot praise the staff in San Javier high enough and would highly commend this store for its service & attention.

Bád experience at Decathalon Mallorca

I visited Decathalon store at ElCampo Centre Mallorca. I selected 2 Tshirts and made my way to pay. Because I was using card payment I was directed to the self checkout where I scanned the shirts and scanned a bag and paid by card for all three.
As I went to leave the security alarm sounded and I stopped and was approached by the security officer. He checked the goods in the bag and then a female (manager?) aproached and they had a conversation in Spanish and both consulted their phones for some reason. While they were talking I opened the banking app on my phone and showed that the payment had been processed in full. She looked at my phone and continued to talk to the security officer. While this was going on every time I moved the bag the security alarm sounded. People coming and going were looking at my wife and I as if we were shoplifters since everything took place right at the entrance/exit. The female the walked away and sent the young man who directed us to the self checkout to speak to us. He said we had probably forgotten to scan the bag to which my wife replied that we scanned and paid €1.49 for it. He shrugged his shoulder as if in dis-belief at which point I showed him the e-mail receipt and he said ok everything is fine. The security officer looked somewhat embarassed at this stage. I then asked the Male member if we were going to have a problem at other shops in the centre with alarm sounding and he said nó everything was ok. Our experience with Decathalon staff left a lot to be desired and I can't help but feel that some better staff training is called for. We paid for what we got,were able to show 2 different proof of purchase and were still treated like shoplifters in full view of people entering and existing the store. The only apology forthcoming was from the security officer who as I already said appeared to be embarassed with how the problem was dealt with.
A big thumbs down for customer service at Decathalon Palma.

I placed an order total of €50+ and…

I placed an order total of €50+ and they sent me an email of the list of my order but they did not send me my factura. They informed me via email that the delivery is on 21.7.2022 and i decided to not go to work hoping it would arrive at mid day and so i can work in the afternoon but until 17:00h still no delivery and no one tried to call me. So i contacted their customer service and asked him where is my item i had been waiting all day, but he said he did not know all he can track is the delivery man is around my area. I asked if he can call the delivery man to call me on when exactly he arrive so i can go to work but the customer service said he had no contact number with the delivery man, unbelievable.

Great store staff help at Decathlon FINESTRAT

I tried buying a bike online to collect at Decathlon Finestrat. The website made it quite difficult so I called the shop and was lucky enough to speak to English-speaking Chloe (I'm not revealing her whole name for 'privacy' reasons). Chloe was really SO helpful and made the purchase -- which the website really complicated -- possible. So BIG thanks to Chloe and I hope she gets some positive recognition from the store management :-)

Broma

Between these and DHL I am surprised that they can actually sustain a business.

Ordered a bike and it’s nowhere to be found. Been told it’s been delivered, dhl say it’s at the depot and that my address is wrong.

Decathlon customer service taking ages to sort this.

Never again will I use these.

Absolutely disgraceful service

Absolutely disgraceful service. On line hopeless while instore couldn't care less. I can't be bothered going into my situation but I promise never to shop with them again and will make sure friends and family will know of their complete disregard.

Es lamentable que Decathlon siga usando la empresa Paack para el reparto sabiendo que es una empresa nefasta que no entrega los paquetes. Son miles los damnificados por la falta de profesionalidad de Paack. Decathlon también sois responsables por contratarlos.

Decathlon in Alcantarilla…

We shop at Decathlon in Alcantarilla often and one of the reasons is that the staff are so friendly and helpful. Quite a few of them speak some English too which is a real bonus as we are still learning Spanish.

Excellent fast service

I've made a few orders online now and the service has been top class, mostly received next day. The products have arrived well packaged and exactly as advertised. The delivery man is lovely. I'm surprised to find so many bad reviews on here.

Ordered a few items online on 27th…

Ordered a few items online on 27th August. Delivery seemed to be an issue & I was forced to send to local collection point. The item is large & now it seems that the collection point is in the midst of a pedestrian area - not ideal.

Item was due last week & failed to arrived.I sent an inquiry & got a series of boilerplate emails which made no sense, my emails were only answered in this way.

They advised that there was a problem & they would have to make a new order so I asked to cancel - they totally ignored this & sent another dispatch confirmation, for a new order but now incomplete.

The new order went out for delivery on Wednesday & we know there was a celeritas van in Soller as they collected an item from us BUT we are still waiting for delivery.

Not a good experience & very poor customer service from Decathlon - boilerplate on email & no response on Whatsapp.

This rating applies to ordering anything online and click and collect from this company, a total disaster! Tried reserving via click and collect, items in stock in Mijas 45 minutes away. They take payment, I'm on my way and they phone to say they have no stock. The whole stock and click and collect system is a joke and needs sorting out!

Worst company I have ever had dealings with paid all in advance? Told a delivery date didn’t turn up? Told another date didn’t turn up no apology send email and tried to bribe us, ask for a full refund and said sorry it’s the carrier but would build it “ FOC “ Balls (I have been told to change that from-dogs boll@&’s to them and the company whilst the big boss gets fatter and ignores what is going on with this biggest let down company in La Zenia , steer well clear DONT pay up front or put a deposit, save your money and promised delivery’s that never turn up WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP that store is.update it’s 8 o’clock evening and the %#>€£!s didn’t turn up again Thanks &@$”heads : updated still no delivery and no apologies and don’t even answer our emails now and the transport company what a load of crap.it’s now the 22nd July this started 3 weeks ago and finally might have sorted something out but we are out off pocket CEO or head off department boss or what ever, worst run shop ever been to.

Amazing service

Amazing service, I searched through so many different websites and only here I was able to find all the weights I needed. The delivery was very fast. I placed my order on Friday and it already arrived on Monday (with a free delivery), even with the coronavirus now. Everything from placing the order to receiving my items went smooth. Definitely recommend.

I ordered a treadmill online that was…

I ordered a treadmill online that was marked as "in stock" at the beginning of the lockdown hoping I will have it during those difficult days. Two weeks later contacted them asking where it was, I was told it was on its way. Another week later asked again, got the same reply. On the 5th week I asked again and I was told it was delivered. I was shocked. Tried to contact them on all possible channels most of which was not working. Finally got hold of a customer service agent who told me that they would check with the delivery company. When they came back to me they told the treadmill (120-130 kg) got lost(!) during delivery and they didn't have another one in stock so so they would give me a refund. Total lack of responsibility, I'm very disappointed.
