Taken out new lease agreement. Odd contractual quirks to watch out for, like annual mileage limit. Online signup process painful, the system not working properly to recognise ID and video. Unable to sign into the site once sorted, none of the data recognised. The telephone system is a nightmare, with too many options and explanations before you can get through to someone. Long delays getting through. One time it got down to 5 mins only to go up to 20. Nice helpful team once you can get through to them.

The APR at 5.90% was highly competitive for today's market, and the breakdown of the deposit contributions (£3,000 provider allowance + £2,000 dealer contribution) was completely transparent from day one. No hidden fees, clear optional final payment terms, and smooth paperwork processing. Highly recommend if you value clarity and straightforward financial terms

Nothing at all wrong with the dealer I purchased from - they were spot on with all of the communication and documentation. However the first email I received from VWFS was unreadable, black writing on an almost black background. You might think this is because of ‘dark mode’ on my iPhone, it may well be but I also know that VWFS’s marketing communications team should check their email templates on Litmus or a similar program to ensure that it can be read across all platforms before sending to clients.
The second annoying point was I am being asked to register on the VWFS app. After several unsuccessful attempts due to error codes, and waiting for VWFS customer support on the telephone, I was told that my agreement hadn’t been loaded on their system yet and that’s why I can’t register. Brilliant. Why did you send the registration email then!

Our car was collected by Manheim and a report was issued on 21 May 26. Manheim take 1-2 working days to submit a report to Audi Financial Services, they usually submit it the same day. Having heard nothing from Audi Finance, 11 days later, I called Customer Services on 1 June to find out what was going on as the car was showing as ghosted with nothing to pay on the Audi Financial Services web portal. I was told by Customer Services that there was nothing to pay bar a £10 administrative fee the following month. As I thought that there would be something to pay I asked her to check with the team responsible a number of times. She was adamant that there was nothing to pay and our contract was at an end. An email was sent to us at 1:11pm on 1 June by the Customer Service Advisor at Audi Financial Services stating that:
"Thank you for contacting Audi Financial Services.
I would like to confirm that there is no EOC charges.
You only have to pay the OTP fee £10."
On 17th June we received an end of contract invoice, which was now unexpected following our conversation on 1 June, which has caused issue. Audi have since confirmed that Manheim sent the report to them on 21 May, so we shouldn't have been told that there was nothing to pay. The first member of customer resolutions that I spoke to on 17 June was rude and unhelpful, the person I spoke with on 18 June was excellent and escalated the matter. A complaint is in progress.
VWFS agreed with me that their processes and service failed on this occasion, the latter people within customer service and resolutions were excellent. Thank you.
