It’s really way too early to give an honest review, which is why I only have it three stars - asking for a review this early makes a statement also, no?

Credit one is not a honest company

Credit one is not a honest company. They lied to credit bureaus. When my friend applied for that credit card, she used it every month. She decided to close her account. She got emails with payment due dates. But the emails stopped. She didn’t know if she had to pay or not. She got a letter from credit collectors. She told them that she haven’t gotten the emails. Credit one claimed that they sent emails to her. We checked with our internet company. They said that the emails stopped in 2016. Then credit one hired the lawyer firm to sue my friend. We wrote the letter to the firm with proof. They decided to drop the case with credit one. Then in 2020, the small claims court sent a letter to my friend. She called them. They told her to show up. But it was last minute! She is deaf. Credit one took advantage! And she got my brother as her lawyer. We sued credit one.

One of the worst financial services on…

One of the worst financial services on this planet with my experience in USA, Canada , Australia, and few other places in the globe .
This company’ has no easy way to contact a live agent !
After we pay, monthly payments with an extra $ 4.95 “ extra payment” on top of the amount we pay on well before stipulated pacific time , they still show even on the following day
“ processing” after taking money from my bank account.

I advise any one not to get their credit card which also at an exorbitant fee , compared to the amount of credit they give ; this they never revealed simply in advance in simple English or thru the live person ! This’s actually about 1: 2.5 times higher!
I think call centre staff can be approached, only by selecting on their “ Credit One “ App reaching the menu’s “ lost card” !

Also, the call centre staff , if you succeed getting them, are in a foreign country as on all occasions you get someone with an Asian accent !
This company must be avoided by any means no matter what your credit score is becoz by dealing with them, your credit score will definitely be THE WORST!

Seriously the most ridiculous and…

Seriously the most ridiculous and arguably the worst bank I’ve ever done business with. I’m not even sure how they are even in business. The customer service reps are the most uneducated and lazy people I’ve ever spoken to. They have the SLOWEST processes of literally any business I’ve ever experienced. There are NO other banks that take 8 days to process payments. Also no other bank that take a month to send out a credit card. And finally no other bank that take over a week to close an account and credit you back a fee you were charged that shouldn’t have been paid to begin with. I’d literally rather have zero credit cards than ever deal with these people again.

This is the best credit card that you can get without doing a big deposit. It helps build your credit and the application process was so simple. I highly recommend to anyone that needs that 2nd chance in life.

Closed my card over a stupid mistake

I was really happy to get the AMEX card from them with a fairly high credit limit. However, within just a few months of opening the account, I made a couple of mistakes making payments where I accidentally tried to pay the card from the wrong checking account. It was only a couple of times, but they closed my account over it. I called and asked if it could be reinstated and I was told no. That's really disappointing because I tried to rectify it and it was just an honest mistake. They said the account closure was fully automated and they can't do anything about it. That's stupid.

Easily the worst credit card I've ever…

Easily the worst credit card I've ever had. My credit score has consistently been 75-90 points lower than my credit score shows on Experian, even thought they clearly state on their website that they use Experian! Their fees are excessive and their customer service is not good. Not to mention the 35% interest rate and the annual fee of $95! The only positive thing I can say is they gave me a reduced interest rate twice after spending way too much time arguing with them about their credit scoring process and how fraudulent it is! How can they make correct business credit decisions based on a score that's 75 to 90 points lower then the actual score on my credit report! Especially when they claim to use the same company, experian! It sounds like they are being sued for all the right reasons. I doubt these lawsuits will make them correct their ways. Predatory lending for sure! They gave me three credit cards when I was rebuilding my credit but I've paid two of them off, plan to pay off this third one and never use them again. They could at least get my credit score within 15 to 20 points of the correct one! I have had way too many conversations with lmanagers about this but nothing changes!
