Having had a torrid time with car hire before the pandemic, Europcar at Alicante were a nightmare, we decided to look around at other companies & came across reviews for Coys Rent a Car, based off site from the airport. They are run by a UK couple, after the last debacle this made us look more into them & found they had excellent reviews so decided to take the plunge & hire both cars for our family party. Can only say they were an absolute delight. After we cleared border control & picked our luggage up we rang Coys to let them know we had arrived ( 2hr flight delay ). As they are located literally 10 minutes from the airport they arrived to pick us all up in no time at all & took us back to their compound. A quick form filling in process & then a look at the cars ( excellent condition , practically new Peugeot 2008 & 3008 unlike the sheds that Europcar gave us, looked like someone had used a sledgehammer on them & then fleeced us on return, huge argument ensued) , we were away on our holiday in less than 20 minutes.
On return 2 weeks later , we pulled onto the compound, were met immediately & taken straight to the airport for our flight home. An absolute seamless process with people who you could communicate with effortlessly & nothing was too much trouble.
*tip.....take out the full insurance cover for peace of mind, they also don't require a full tank of fuel on return & make sure you have enough when you first pick up the car.
Without a shadow of a doubt we will be using Coys on our next visit to Spain, just brilliant.

Having used a worldwide hire car company on a regular basis but been let down previously we decided to try Coys having been recommended on a local forum. From start to finish the process was faultless as were the staff involved. Price, service and quality of car exceeded our expectations and we have booked for other visits this year knowing that we won't be let down. Keep up the good work guys, you're definitely the best.

The transport between the airport and the head office went perfectly. All documents were already filled in, we could leave within 10 minutes! The rented car (fiesta ST) was very clean and fun to drive.

I have hired cars from numerous companies when I have flown into Alicante and Coys Rent A Car is the absolute best company I have ever used. On arrival a simple call to them and the minibus arrived within 5 minutes the minibus arrived. The paperwork took less than 5 minutes then we were handed a new Citroen C3. On return the minibus was waiting and we were in the airport 5 minutes later. I highly recommend Coys Rent A Car and will most definitely be using them again.

Been using Coys for many years when there operated from Murcia Airport,then due to Murcia Airport location change Coys don't hire cars from there anymore so I drive has become an hour longer but wouldn't use anyone else.
First class service from pick up to drop off.
Had a lovely Fiesta ST Line which made my son very envious as he still needs another years driving before he can drive in Spain 🇪🇸

I was recommended to Coys by a family member who has used them for 20 years. I’ve used them 3 times in Aug/Sep 21 and am very pleased.
The airport collection/return service is excellent. Their compound is literally just 5 minutes from Alicante terminal.
Cars are very clean, service is very good and pricing is competitive.
This is now my first choice car hire company for Alicante. Well done guys

Would definitely recommend Coys Rent A Car. Having been ripped off by other car rental companies in the past we are always wary of what we are being sold. The price you are quoted is the price you pay no extra charges on arrival. Picked up outside of airport 5 mins to collect car from depot. Great service. Will definitely be booking with Coys in the future.

Amazing service, quality and communication! Absolutely rate and highly recommend Coys Rent A Car - first time using them after hearing so many horror stories and scams from rental car properties in Spain and am so glad I did. Even with my ever changing and fluid travel schedule Heidi and Mike were brilliantly accommodating, super efficient and most importantly honest and trustworthy - a rarity in this field! Very good selection of cars and the best service I have ever had. No queuing at the airport to a rental company desk. Fast and simple service. The prices are also very attractive - I had a family crossover (Peugeot 3008) at a price of Fiat 500 claimed by all other rental companies at the Alicante Airport. And the baby seat is comfortable and rented at normal price.

This little Rent A Car company has saved our vacation. When you travel alone with two children where one is a child with special needs, it is very important that you find a company that is fast, honest, reliable and a company that has cars in good condition (we got a new one). Great company. Used to use some of the bigger, better known companies but not any more. Great service from start to finish on my rental of just over 6 weeks. Great choice of cars and extremely handy for Alicante airport. The pick/up drop off service works perfectly. Sp good I’be already booked another 6 week rental from next month. Can’t recommend this company enough.

Have used many different car hire companies over the years and usually they seem to withold information regarding extras to pay and sometimes you end up with unforeseen payments regarding insurance, petrol etc. I discovered Coys this winter 20/21 , can definately say have never been treated so honestly and been provided with excellent service both professional and friendly, what you sign for is what you pay , no hidden extras . Had a months rental and thought it was very reasonable compared to the big companies. Will be using them again next time in Spain and will tell all my friends. Great customer service , will done Coys.

Great car hire at Alicante meet you outside Costa coffee on 2nd floor .No extras , pay for fuel that is in the car 20 euros .excess waiver 3 euros a day, Pay it its worth it. Not having to pay for a full tank, Great staff, no hidden extras , Had to change my flight three times Heidi said no problem . Used these about five times.

I have been travelling to Costa blanca since I purchased my property in 2019 and was put in touch with Coys by a mutual friend who also has a property there. I've always found the service second to none and all the vehicles in top condition. The staff are extremely friendly on pick-up and Mike and Heidi are lovely people and are always flexible and above all welcoming.

Have been using Coys for a few years now and find their friendly service excellent. Car pick up and drop off process at Alicante is easy and straight forward. We like the option of being able to prebuy a specific amount of fuel and the flexibility of not having to fill the tank up when we drop off. Good choice of cars.
