Terrible experience

Terrible experience, received a quote and intended to sell but due to family emergency I could not get appt til week after- was told that offer would expire but that I would simply put in info again- well I did and even though same milage (in my garage) the price dropped over 1500 from yesterday? It was already a low offer and just received an offer from a dealership a lot more than I was being offered with Clutch

Clutch came out clutch!

We decided to sell our car on Clutch and are so glad we did. When we went to a dealer, they offered us next to none and recommended selling private. Rather than going through marketplace, we heard about Clutch and gave them a shot. The process to list our car was easy and clear, they gave us a great quote, and the drop off was super simple. The staff were incredibly helpful throughout the process, and we were never left guessing next steps. We 100% recommend Clutch to anyone trying to sell a car.

Best way to sell a car ever

Best way to sell a car ever. Tried facebook marketplace and just got lowballed by everyone. Clutch gave me the best offer and it was extremely simple.

Showed up at 2pm for my appointment. Was in the Uber home at 2:17 and the money hit my account at 2:20.

Will never sell private again.

Skeptical at first

I have to say that I was somewhat skeptical about the whole process. The pick up team was on time (which is not very common these days) and the representative indicated the steps that would be required to complete the transaction. (inspection of the vehicle, logging of information and other steps that would require about 10 minutes to complete. To my surprise, the inspection was indeed completed 10 minutes later. Having found some minor rust issues, he slightly revised the offer which was acceptable to me. All in all, I believe it was a fair deal for both parties. However, the most satisfying part of the transaction was that the amount of the purchase price was deposited in my account in less than 20 minutes - on a Sunday morning!. Impressive. Only at that point was I relieved about the experience. I am extremely satisfied in having dealt with Clutch and I would certainly recommend this company for buying your vehicle.

Very easy to get an estimate without all the hassle of visiting dealerships.

Very easy to get an estimate without having to wait days to get an answer, bring it down to a dealer so they can get you there and sell you.
Based on honesty and provide a fair offer. When you bring it down for inspection and payment if it is what you say it is , done deal. In and out in less than 30 minutes. Exactly how i negotiate and buy my vehicles.
Clutch is fair ahead in the game of auto sales. If the rest dont adapt they will fall out of the game.
The concept that clutch has is the way of the future and they will only grow .
Makes it too easy for a buyer or seller and most importantly offer fair prices on both sides.

Staff was very responsive

Staff was very responsive, and quote was accurate and process painless. My mom was already frazzled with everything going on — selling her home and belonging and moving back to Ireland. On drop off day the representative was very attentive to her anxiety and providing comfort and bottled water.

'Wish these guys were around 10 years ago!'

The on-line input was easy. I guessed at the insurance cost of an accident (I wish I could have had an ability to indicate, 'not sure' or 'just a guess'). When I spoke with Raphael, I told him I guessed before he told me my guess was about $3,000 less than the actual. Although the price was better than offered as a trade-in, it was truly the painless transaction and dealing with the guys...no multiple 'test-drives with private buyers, no haggling over what a private buyer would wan to pay, no dealing with dents, scratches or other items that come up during the process of selling privately. No waiting an hour in a Service Ontario line-up...Clutch saved me about 6-8 hours of TIME 'not wasted trying to sell privately'...to me, dealing with the friendly Clutch-team was well worth any risk I initially feared of trying to sell to Clutch (a relative newbie to me at least)!!!

The great Clutch experience!

The evaluation process was straightforward and cautioned you not to overrate your vehicle. The final inspection confirmed that my vehicle did fall into the top 10% for cars of that age. As a result the original price quote was confirmed. Staff were excellent at following up on the couple of questions I asked. Because of the FIFA World Cup the company avoided traffic issues by simply dropping off their inspector/driver rather than using their flatbed truck. Finally, the payment for the vehicle was in my bank account before I returned to our condo on the 5th floor.
