Every member of our close-knit team works with dedication and commitment and we treat every call and every visit with respect and compassion. We are faithful to our objective of making home visits personal, un-rushed, peaceful and dignified . We always have the time to talk to you and will always do everything we can to support you and your pet at a time when you need us most. We work to support and help you when you need us, but we are not an emergency vet and we do not have limitless appointment times. But even in an emergency we will do all we can to help you. An emergency tends to be a crisis and our ethos is to plan a calm and respectful goodbye. Our caring team works passionately to help pet families that are facing "end of life situations" for their beloved pet companions. We provide unhurried pet euthanasia services in the secure and loving environment of your own home. We really do understand that it may be difficult to make that first call, so, our Care Coordinators are available for you to speak to, 7 days a week, from 7am to 8pm Monday to Friday and between 8am to 5pm at weekends and when you pick up the phone, we will treat your call with kindness and understanding. I can finally write, still through some residual tears, to thank everyone at Cloud Nine and vet Sonia in particular for their wonderfully kind and compassionate support during one of the hardest times of my life. This review is also for those who are about to go through what I and my beloved and hugely missed Lottie went through. My heart goes out to you, it really does. I cried so much whilst making the decision, making the booking and waiting for the appointment. I searched deep into my conscience and wavered between wanting to know for sure that what I was doing was best for Lottie and what she was trying to tell me in her wordless, utterly loyal way. Sonia helped. She helped me to release the bond of love that builds up between an owner and their little canine companion of many years in a really gentle and for Lottie, completely painless way. Sonia was quiet and empathetic, reassuring and emotionally present to the point of crying with me as we jointly said farewell to my best friend. Rest in Peace Lottie. To all those of you going through this, the ragged, raw grief does go away but gentle tears will still fall from time to time to heal you and honour the passing of your loved one, just as mine are tumbling down now.

I made the very difficult decision to call a number of home vet practices to see what availability there was for a home visit to our very beloved cat Ted in the next 24 hours. By far and away, the best experience I received was from Cloud 9. The phone was answered almost straight away, and I received an amazingly compassionate and helpful response from Jennifer. And despite not having a vet imminently available in my local area, she managed to contact vet David who offered to come out of his area, within 24 hours, to come and help us in our moments of distress. As it turned out, this was not necessary as our local vets were able to make the home visit after all.
I contacted Cloud 9 because of the wonderful reviews on Trustpilot and I can honestly say this was fully backed up by my experience.

7 years ago I took my 13 year old dog suffering with cancer to the vets for the last time. Although I had her in my arms, cuddling her, and talking to her, I could see the fear in her eyes. When I got home, my other dogs were looking for her. They sat at the gate for several weeks, waiting for her to come home. I couldn't explain to them what had happened to her.
During Carlo's last few days I was determined history would not repeat itself and I was hoping he would pass in his sleep but that morning he couldn't get up even with my help, and I knew I had a decision to make. I phoned a company that had been recommended to me, they told me they couldn't help as I was not in their area and to try Cloud 9Vets. Wow! What a difference! Danielle answered the phone, she was kind, sympathetic and so patient while I tried to speak through my tears. She also said, I did not live in an area they covered, but she would phone around to see if any of the vets would come out to me. She phoned back about an hour later to say that Filipe could come out to me but it would be about 6.30pm. She then, without having to, phoned around to find a pet company in my area that would take Carlo to be cremated. She really went beyond her call of duty for me. Filipe phoned about 10 past 6 to say he was stuck in traffic but should be with me before 7pm. He arrived about 6.50 with his quiet voice and calm demeanor, and showed Carlo nothing but kindness and dignity. He gave him a small injection which took about 10 minutes to work and then Carlo fell asleep looking at me as normal while I was stroking him. Filipe made sure Carlo was fast asleep before he inserted the cannula. In total Filipe was here just over half an hour. Nothing felt rushed, it was so peaceful. After Filipe left, I let my other dogs out of the kitchen and they went to Carlo. They said Goodbye to their best friend, big brother and the one who helped them to settle in after they had left the rescue center. They are still grieving for him, but each day they are getting better. Thanks to Cloud9 Vets they know what happened, he didn't just go out one day and disappear, and I know my beautiful boy had a dignified death, he wasn't afraid, he was at home where he belonged and so loved.

I'm forever grateful to Cloud 9 and vet Charis for helping me to deliver to my cat a peaceful transition at home, in his familiar environment, in his favourite spot and with me next to him. My cat was suffering from cancer and when he suddenly started to be in an unbearable pain, I needed to help him as soon as possible, and it took only one and a half hour after my first call to Cloud 9 till the vet arrived. Charis was perfect and now I can't imagine anyone else instead in this situation. She went above and beyond to make me and my cat as comfortable as it was possible given the terrible circumstances. I can't thank Cloud 9 and Charis enough for being for me throughout the whole process, from my first call, through euthanasia and arranging cremation, till help with the insurance claim.

I want to offer my heartfelt gratitude to Cloud 9 and especially Rachel, for helping our 14 year old Labrador Dougie take his next journey over the rainbow bridge. Rachel was so calm and explained everything that would happen, from start, until Our sweet boy took his last breath. We didn't want to say goodbye but because we had to, we wouldn't have wanted it to happen any other way. The peace I experienced yesterday, for Dougie and his family was exactly as it should have been and remained that way for the rest of the day. Thank you for giving Dougie these precious last moments with us all x

From initial phonecall until my darling 16 year old dog - Diddy - fell asleep I felt we were in safe hands, I can not imagine how we would have coped without Cloud9 Vets - Northampton.
Diddy's final moments were beautiful and I can not imagine a more peaceful ending to her long life.

On the 01-10-25 we had our beautiful bichon Daisy put to sleep . We arranged this heartbreaking goodbye with cloud 9.
Filipe the vet came at the arranged time and immediately made us feel assured and calm .
Our last precious moments with our little girl were not rushed and we were able to say our goodbyes lovingly in our own home .
We thank cloud 9 for their kindness and Filipe for his gentle compassion .
We highly recommend cloud 9 .

Yesterday Susie came to our home at 2.30 to put our German Shepherd, Rusty to sleep.
I wanted to drop a note to say how amazing she was. She took so much time and care with both us & Rusty and carefully explained everything clearly and with empathy. She made a difficult and upsetting situation the best it could have been.
Francis from Phoneix who took him away was also very nice, again, caring & empathetic.

We recently had to make the sad decision to put our Gibbs out of pain. Frances came within the hour of us calling them. She was so lovely, patient and understood our grief. She was gentle with Gibbs and never rushed us. I cannot thank her enough for making this a calming, loving goodbye. She even helped us carry Gibbs to the car after to take to the vets. We had to say goodbye to our beautiful whippet, The service from Cloud 9 Vets was above and beyond expectations from the first phone call to book , Susie the vet who came to put Lily to sleep in our own home and the gentleman from the cremation company who collected her.every person was so kind caring and compassionate our little whippet was so relaxed and happy right until the end. When we recieved her ashes back within a few days they were packed so beautifully with a candle and a lovely message. It was the hardest thing for us to do but this company could not have made it easier for us.I would highly recommend them.

Sonia's care and compassion for Tutxi ensured that she passed in a way that was gentle and relaxed, without any fear. And thank you for being so understanding and kind towards me, allowing everything to happen at my pace whilst I sobbed uncontrollably.
And a special mention to Vicki, the care coordinator on the phone who organised everything: from the vet arriving early the following day, to Phoenix Pet Cremations collecting my little cat an hour later. Your kindness and patience on the phone, together with your efficiency, made a horrible time so much easier.
