It was after much soul searching that I finally decided that it was time for me to say goodbye to my Furry Buddy Carmen.
She has been a companion to me for almost 14 years and I count myself very fortunate that I contacted Cloud 9 Vets.
From the very first telephone conversation to the visit of the vet Nacho I could not have wished for a more caring and considerate approach.
It wasn’t and still isn’t easy but Cloud 9 Vets made the process bearable.

From making the phone call to organise the visit, and throughout the home visit we were given gentle and patient support for an extremely sad farewell to our old furry friend. I would recommend them highly. It was very peaceful and no stress at all.

Thank you so much for the kindness we received for my beautiful Poppy. And the kindness that was shown to us Henry was absolutely amazing he showed such compassion towards us all he was so thoughtful and kind to our Poppy dog . What a lovely man Henry is. I'm so heart broken about losing my girl. 💔

Last Saturday was one of the hardest days i have ever had to deal with. Our nearly 17 year old cat Oreo had just become too ill overnight to carry on. As a family we made the decision that he should go to sleep at home, in his favourite spot without the stress of the car journey to get to his regular vets.
I called Cloud9 and from the moment the phone was answered all i heard was compassion and empathy. I even started crying but the reassurance i received was comforting and allowed me to make good decisions for Oreo.
Within a couple of hours Sally (the vet) was on my doorstep, and a sense of relief came over us all. We knew Oreo was struggling and needed that help to help him struggle no more.
Sally was calm, professional and incredibly reassuring, to not only Oreo but to us too. We needed that guidence.
Oreo said his goodbyes to the family and him and I snuggled on the sofa, ready for him to go into a peaceful sleep.
It was perfect!.. well as perfect as it can be. Sally stayed with us until he passed and then gave me some 'alone time' with him, where i was able to have a good cry and a last few strokes with my little man.
I didn't know that Cloud9 existed or that pets could be put to sleep at home, as Previously i had always taken them to the vets, with the stressful journey, sitting in a waiting room full of other people.. but not no more. This was perfect for us. For the family and me, because we could grieve in our own home, but more importantly for Oreo, because he could fall asleep in his own spot, in his own home, with no stress, no anxiousness and surrounded by people who love him.

At a difficult time, Cloud 9 could not have been more professional on one hand or more compassionate on the other. The phone service and follow ups were spot on, and the visiting vet gave us all the information and time we needed to say goodbye to our 17 year old Jake.

We cannot thank everyone at Cloud 9 enough, especially the wonderful vet Andrea, for the care, compassion and dignity they afforded Blue last week. Choosing to let a dog out of pain and into their sleep has to rank as the toughest decision we’ve ever had to make, albeit the right one. Our great comfort and solace comes from the ease and thoughtfulness we experienced in the planning with the Cloud 9 Office team, and the kind, respectful and comforting way in which Andrea visited our home, attended to Blue and talked us through the process. Far from the terrifying experience of Blue seeing out his final moments in the unfamiliar chaos of a vet’s surgery; instead he played with us and Andrea as much as he was able, cuddled his loved ones, then went to sleep peacefully on his own bed. The entire process was difficult only for those of us losing him, Blue had the most dignified nightcap anyone could wish for a four-legged family member. I can not thank cloud 9 vets enough , starting with Darlene who answered my call what a wonderful caring lady you are, and who arranged the lovely vet Susie to visit our home. Our English bulldog Winnie was given so much love and compassion from Susie I can not praise her enough. What a true angel you are Susie and a calming effect you had. So lovely Winnie could gently pass away on his favourite sofa with his family. Susie explained gently every step . Thank you Cloud 9 so much , I really so much highly recommend when your time comes for your beloved pooch to call them. The biggest thanks to the wonderful Susie you are truly amazing lady and made such a difficult time so much calmer at home , than taking out Winnie to his vets which he definitely did not like. With Susie no stress , Winnie was completely calm and relaxed ,which was such a relief for us all.

Our dog Georgie, a red fox retriever cross, had been struggling with life for some time and we knew it was time to let her go . I contacted cloud 9 vets and asked if a vet could come to our home to put her to sleep in her own surrounding . Jennifer was so helpful. She phoned Henry ( the vet) and an appointment was made for Saturday morning When Henry arrived he met Georgie who greeted him whilst still lying down . He was very gentle with her and she was happy for him to stroke her. Henry explained what he would be doing and said nothing was going to be rushed . It was all about Georgie . It was wonderful to see her out of pain. Henry left us with her and gave us time to cry . This has been one of the saddest days of our life but being at home to say goodbye to Georgie was perfect Georgie gave us so much in her 15 years of life. Today we thanked her by giving her rest and peace .

Cloud 9 vets made one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make a process that I was able to give my princess Molly at the end of her life . It was dignified it was without any stress pain or discomfort . From the call centre team right the way to the crematorium the process was carried out with the most caring professional team . Becky her vet was a gentle beautiful girl who had compassion , sympathy and gentleness . The team from the crematorium provided a door too door service she went off in style and she came back with a beautiful tribute . I can’t thank you guys enough 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

We had to make the hard decision to let our girl go, cloud9vets guided me through this so gently. From the first phone call, to Kim coming out to the house, we were made to feel seen and comfortable. Kim talked through the process and made Heidi comfortable in her favourite spot surrounded by her family. Couldn’t have asked for better. Thanks you Ladies for making it that bit easier💔🩷

Robert was very caring and compassionate when we had our cat Sooty put to sleep after living with cancer. Alder vets recommended Cloud9 as we wanted him to be at home and not be stressed by a journey to the vet. I would definitely recommend them to anyone facing this difficult decision.

We had to make the decision to let our beautiful old friend Duke leave us on Tuesday. Following recovery from a stroke earlier in the year he had suddenly deteriorated and we were advised to call Cloud 9 and this was definitely the best thing we could have done. Henry the vet was kind and compassionate, taking us through each stage and explaining everything in detail. He made Duke happy and relaxed with a sedative so Duke could happily have all the treats and goodies he wanted and gently drifted off to sleep before the final injection. Our boy had the best goodbye possible thanks to Henry and Cloud 9 Vets.

Cloud9 vets were very helpful and sympathetic to both our family and pets needs.David our vet was informative and respectful, this enabled a dignified gentle passing for our beautiful dog Cookie at home surrounded by love.

We had to make the heartbreaking decision to put our cat Spike to sleep at the weekend. Sally from Cloud 9 Vets could not have been more compassionate, kind, patient and caring. She gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye, guided us through each step of the process, and treated our beloved pet with dignity and care throughout. Home euthanasia was the only option for my diabetic cat, Cookie, who had had this debilitating condition for nearly 5 years. Cloud 9 Vets Guildford were sympathetic and empathetic throughout and Josie, my allocated Vet, could not have been more professional and caring when she came to put Cookie to sleep. She observed from his demeanour that he was 'ready to leave' and so it proved. After a small calming anaesthetic he slipped peacefully away in my arms before any real amount of the final injection was administered. So grateful he was spared any further pain or distress.

Having to decide to say goodbye to our 14 year old puppy dog was the hardest decision I have ever made – it was utterly devastating. Cloud 9 made the experience as gentle, compassionate and peaceful as it could possibly be.

Our vet, Frances, was so calm and gentle during our darkest and saddest moment. Our beloved big girl Treacle, showed no stress or concern in her final moments and we are so grateful that she was able to pass at home surrounded by love.

To visit a home in such sad times, takes kindness, compassion and empathy - we felt lucky that Frances was there for Treacle in her moment of need. Couldn't thank Karris enough for her professionalism and support throughout the whole process of helping our 14 1/2 old Whippet pass away peacefully.

From start to finish the service was excellent and we were treated like family - she reassured us throughout and made sure we were kept informed about the different stages and made sure we understood that Ollie wouldn't be in pain anymore.

Karris spoke kindly and professionally and even offered to stay after Ollie had finally gone to sleep for extra support which was very much appreciated.

The sympathy card we recieved the following week was a lovely touch which really meant a lot - i would absolutely recommend this service for someone seeking a dignified euthanasia experience for their pet at home.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a week, but it’s taken some time to adjust to life after the heartbreaking loss of my beloved dog, Dusk. I’m so grateful I chose Cloud 9 Vets. From my very first call with Jennifer to the compassionate visit from Kim, both ladies showed such kindness, empathy, and genuine care for both Dusk and me.

Making the decision to say goodbye through euthanasia is never easy - it’s utterly devastating, but Cloud 9 made the experience as gentle and comforting as it could possibly be. There was no stressful vet visit, no rushing through final moments, just the peace of saying goodbye at home with love and dignity.
