2 x Sims, no issues, good interactions with customer service

Signed up for the service (2 x sims) mid January, then read the reviews. Disaster. Tried to cancel and got through to a helpful guy who told me my sim order had already gone through and I wouldn't be refunded. So I thought I may as well give them a chance as I already had the first month paid. So glad I did. Zero issues with service (I'm based in Donegal), numbers ported over when they were supposed to. I have to doubt the credibility of some of these bad reviews and I'm glad I went ahead with the contracts for my daughter and I.

Stay well clear of this network

Stay well clear of this network. There is ZERO customer service, they don't even respond to messages. Their live chat is always busy and they tell you to contact them through social media. When you do, they tell you to contact them on live chat...
Then when you realise you've made a mistake and you want to cancel, well, thats near impossible.

Don’t go near them

Don’t go near them. Registered for two sims separately. They took payment, issued contracts and neither sim arrived. Impossible to contact customer service.

Rubbish

Was to port over on Sunday 31st March. Didn't happen. On evening of April 04 number finally left Tesco mobile but still no coverage on Clear Mobile. Cant use online chat because they send a code to log in. But cant get a code as either not ported properly or no coverage. An absolute joke. Stay away. Now I have to try to work out how to leave them when I cant get into site to cancel.

HORRRILE SERVICE, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER, NO DETAILS TO GET IN TOUCH.

TURNS OFF MY SERVICE WHEN MY BILLS ARE PAID.

GETTING RID OF THEM IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT GO WITH THIS CROWD

The most awful & UN CLEAR service

The most awful & UN CLEAR service. How do I getaway from them. I can't receive call or SMS messages from a variety of numbers. I can't get new SIM because I can't receive messages. I've spent hours explaining the problems to the online chat, technical team are supposed to call me. HELP. I'm cracking up

Total nightmare

Total nightmare – avoid like the plague!
I signed up, and asked to keep my original phone number. Now my phone seems to use both the original number and some other number. Messages don't get through, people are confused.
But there's more: they disabled by personal hotspot, which is a disaster for working on the move.
And more: despite many attempts to register, they never send the promised registration confirmation.
And more: two very long online interactions with very helpful and frustrated operatives haven't fixed any of the problems. none of them.
And more: now they are telling me that they cannot take payment from my bank card, whose details I gave them. I have to log in and… – oh wait, I can't log in because they never sent me the requested link to register my account.
Hopeless, utterly hopeless. Total flop. Don't put yourself through this.

Clear mobile have barred my number as…

Clear mobile have barred my number as they stopped taking their monthly fee of 12.99 two months ago. The problem is that they didnt notify me until last week when they issued me a final notice. I acted on the final notice and tried to pay the bill. However, every time i got into the secure bill pay site, it crashed on me. Then when i tried to communicate using the live chat line, they were inaccessible. the operators were engaged or worse still, i couldn't access the chat line at all. On Monday last, they put a bar on my number. I have been onto Comrag about their inadequate service.

Pay Peanuts...

Well, I've given them the benefit of the doubt, but the bottom line is signal quality is dreadful.
Yes, they're cheap.
Yes, the setup is painless.
Yes, there are not enough options to confuse a penguin.
But the quality is really, really bad - whether it's working outdoors in the Dublin-Wicklow mountains, a stroll in Bushy Park or avoiding nuts in the city centre, the Clearmobile signal is as muddy as an Alabama bath.
I'll be moving anywhere less cloudy soon.

Honestly the worst phone network

Honestly the worst customer service I’ve ever come across
- if your card bounces one they just delete your card off the system and they don’t tell you and that’s why your wondering how you’re two months behind payment
- then you’ll go on to pay and there’s no option to pay even though you’re being bombarded with texts and emails that you must pay immediately & CS will tell you that you have to wait until next month
- I’ve never once only had to pay the monthly cost advertised, it’s normally about €30 with all the hidden costs they don’t cover. On my statements it has calls I made that I don’t have in my call log
Just over all bad customer service and so hard to reach them. I’ve signed up to switch elsewhere next month

Pity I did not read these reviews…

Pity I did not read these reviews before I suscribed. I cannot turn off voicemail and nothing on web. No customer support. I now have a mobvile that noone can contact me??? I am going to break contract immediately. period!

Terrible terrible network

I have had the exact same experience as below. Clear mobile cut me off the network today stating that they did not have my payment details, which they did have. I cannot chat to anyone online as it keeps saying its busy. I was then advised to contact them via Facebook which I did and they told me they can't do anything unless I confirm a verification code they sent me, which I can't receive because they have cut me off the network. No matter how many times I explain this to them they simply reply they can't do anything unless I receive the code. It is completly ridiculous. Do not sign up to this network.

Terrible customer service, bad coverage

I need to get into my account to resolve an issue but their confirmation email service isn't working, I've contacted all of their social media channels and tried to use the live chat feature on their website but it has been busy for about 3 weeks now it seems, (I keep thst tab open and check it often)
A terrible phone service with seemingly no one working on customer service,

The coverage is also the worst I've seen from ant of the 3 companies I've previously been with, including 48

WORST mob provider ever!!!!

Placed my order online 19 of October.
3rd of November my Nr was transferred to them, but Sim Wasn't Delivered in 2 weeks, Post Office informed, They Didn't provide my Eircode, so Sim was Going up and down few times, So address wasn't fully stated, but when I paid 14.99 online in my order I provided them My Full details. First Sim was arrived, they can't Connect few days, Said it seems "Technical issue", send me another sim.. third day The same "Song". People, PLEASE , PLEASE Avoid this "CLEAR Mobile"@@@!!!!

Customer service - TERRIBLE!
HARDLY to reach them, the same Promises "Wait 24 hrs, Give us another day, We doing Our best", etc. manager call y back with Terrible English (Indian akcents, hardly to understand something).

They take your money but don't provide a service and then lie about it.

I paid, ordered sim card, and specified to keep my existing number. It asked me specify the date and time to switch service which I did. Received my sim, waiting to switch service but the service never switched. I contacted customer support and he tried to tell me that I had specified a new number and had received a new number with the sim. I did not. Now I'm high and dry with no phone service till I get a new one at the last minute. It could be worse, I could have gone with this joke company and had endless issues. Thankfully they screwed me over early so I got out early. Avoid this joke company like the plaque!

AVOID CLEARPHONE LIKE THE PLAGUE

If I could give a negative number for a review, I would! I bought the Clearphone 220 and I'm glad that was all! What a horrible investment and shady business practices behind this company. I purchased the phone from Canada, when it arrived, it already had a SIM card inside with a Utah number assigned to it. Disappointed, I tried to roll with it as the monthly fees weren't through the roof. This however did effect people calling me as it wasn't a local or Canadian number when they called/text. After some time, I noticed extra payments were coming out of my banking account as well. I put in a complaint at my bank, who stopped all withdrawals from my account from ClearUnited, returning some of the money that had been taken after a fraud investigation took place. THEN I was sent a link from T-MOBILE... T-Mobile? Hadn't dealt with them until that point... logged into this T Mobile account and it said I owed over USD $17k in roaming charges for the past two years! Can you freaking imagine seeing this?! I message ClearUnited about all of this, I have the screenshots, and the conversation was so shady.... I was basically told they have a "special deal" with T Mobile... whatever that's supposed to mean... and then my phone line was disconnected. I waited for this crap to show on my credit report so I could fight it, but nothing has happened and it's been just over a year. So on that whole experience alone I wouldn't touch this company with a 10 foot pole. I trusted the person who signed me up (Paul in Australia) ... but that turned to dust. How has the phone performed? It's total trash. Sure, it was okay initially ...nothing wonderful, but then all sorts of malfunctions started to take place. Try and find help with repairs with one of these, lol... what a nightmare. As it is, I need a new screen at this point to operate my phone..... not sure where I'm going to get one of those when the techs look at me like I bought some heinous unknown import and start laughing at me.

AVOID!

I’ve had an absolutely dreadful experience with Clear Mobile over a variety of issues and it’s next to impossible to get through to a customer service agent. Their customer service is as horrendous as their coverage. Cheap monthly plans but you very much get what you pay for…would avoid at all costs.
