Really helpful and super efficient

Very efficient customer service. When the delivery van had a mechanical issue and they could not deliver on the original day planned, they rang immediately and explained and then a day was organised. Everyone I came into contact with was helpful, courteous and friendly.

Easy to order, communication from Ricky was great. The chair arrive in perfect condition, as promised. Delivery was fast and I was kept up to date with timings. Highly recommend this company.

Highly recommended. I came across City Furniture online and went to visit the Soham branch to try some operator chairs out. I already had a good idea as to the make, model, and specifications of the chair I wanted, but wanted to try a few out. Chakotay and his colleague (apologies for forgetting your name) were both very helpful, had good technical knowledge about the chairs, and were not overselling. My prior research meant I knew what I would be paying for the model I wanted, and they had one in. Unfortunately, it did not have a headrest, which I wanted, but the team acted very quickly to organise the transfer of one from a different City site so that I could come back and pick up the chair the next day. I was happy with the condition of the chair, and the final price agreed and guarantee. I have used the chair every day since and am very happy with it. The team were helpful, friendly, accommodating, and Chako even showed me how best to stow it in my car to minimise risk of damage on the journey home. I would recommend City to anyone looking to get recycled yet high-quality office furniture at a reasonable price, and I wouldn't hesitate to go to them again for other items in the future. Chair purchased: Herman Miller Aeron B Size, red mesh, with lumbar support and headrest. Date of purchase: 19 June 2025.

Visited the Soham showroom today with an idea of what we needed - Mason took the time to go through all of the options with us and we've ended up with a nice Knoll and Herman Miller. No reason to ever go elsewhere!

I work from home and was looking to purchase a high-end office chair for my home office. I saw that City Used Office Furniture were selling some pretty good chairs for less than half of the original "new" price. The order and delivery process was good and thorough, and I was delivered the chair I had ordered in a very nicely refurbished state. If you're looking for good quality office furniture at a very low cost, this is definitely one to consider.

The follow up was quick, delivery date and time easy to manage and friendly, desk was exactly what it said on the description and a great alternative to buying new.

I had a very positive experience ordering some office desks; easy to navigate the website; easy to order and the delivery (which is always an issue where our office is located) went so smoothly. Thanks to Henry, Charlotte and Ricky who helped make this a smooth process.

There was no email correspondence informing me of the delivery date. When I phone two weeks after having made payment, they told me it was to be delivered on Monday, then they changed it to Wednesday and said it would be delivered before 11. I called hourly on the day and told them the only timings I could NOT do were between 4:30-5:30. Of course they attempted to deliver at 4:35. They then told me it was kerbside delivery ( I had specifically requested delivery to flat door). They then took it back to their unit and told me they would attempt to deliver another day ( which one???). I have to take time off work to be home for this thing. Awful service and customer service. No communication between delivery company and company itself.

Excellent service and products. Ricky kept me updated throughout the whole process right up until the nominated delivery date. 10/10, extremely happy with my purchase!
