We had a fantastic experience working with Kylie/Casa Azul Pt. After we submitted all of our paperwork, had a virtual meeting with her, and paid our first installment, she was off and running. She really understood our needs and what we wanted and really focused on finding a place that met our top requirements.She was also very patient with us and willing to look at as many places as we wanted. She was also able to find places that weren’t publicly listed (including the place that we chose), so we would not have known about some of these places without her. Her video walk-throughs of potential rentals were well done and quite helpful. Having visited each place we were interested in, she also informed us of potential pitfalls of some of the places (such as a bad smell or it being up too far a hill). When we decided on a place, she helped us negotiate the terms with our landlord, and helped us to establish good rapport with them. She also set up our electric, water, and internet utilities, which made it easy for us to arrive and not have to worry about anything. She greeted us at our new place the day we landed, and handed us the keys. It was a bit nerve wracking to rent a place that we’d never seen in person, but Kylie was sure that we would like the place we chose. And she was right. We love it even more than we expected - it really hit the things we wanted. We’re so thankful we worked with her!

Kylie was amazing and made the very hard process of moving to a new country so much easier. The utilities company messed up and Kylie went to my apartment THREE times to get the wifi set up before I moved in. She is knowledgeable, patient, accessible, and most importantly will give honest advice about apartments regarding pricing, neighborhood, etc. She’s fantastic to work with.

Kylie Anne is an absolute gem. As a human being and as a business owner. Relocating to another country is terrifying but she made the process of finding a new home virtually painless. We were lucky enough to spend a scouting day with her where she too us to properties that matched our budget and our “must haves” (think: international house hunters) and by the end of that day we decided on one of her choices! The real clincher was that she has a ton of connections and stays on top of every single detail. And this lady is BUSY! She returns every phone call, text and email. I can’t think of someone more tenacious. I would never use anyone else for relocating to Portugal! Thank you so much Kylie Anne!

Where do I start? Kylie was a godsend! I am relocating with an 85 year old mother. Kylie was instrumental in making this dream that me and my Mom have of moving to Portugal. She is very professional and very knowledgeable about the immigration process. She understands because she too has gone through this process. She is super pleasant and very thoughtful. I cannot stress enough how pivotal Kylie has been in realizing my goal to relocate to Lisboa. She had set up an organized system for sharing info and updating the search within a few hours of our initial consultation. I was frantic that the 3 weeks I had to sign a lease (D8 visa headaches!) was an insane expectation. However, she hit the ground running and had scheduled viewings for multiple apartments and sent a video walk through of one of them in record time. Sure enough, she'd found me a cute place in my top choice neighborhood in time to bring my signed lease to my visa appointment.
Trying to find a place to live from another continent is daunting. I felt privileged to have a determined and assertive person essentially be "me" in real time in the place I was going to move to. Kylie kept me informed about everything - navigating landlord communication, wifi and utilities set up and general tiny tasks one has to do to get a flat "up and running."

If you're not able to catch multiple flights to Lisbon and pound the pavement on your own while trying to secure proof of accommodation for a visa application, YOU NEED KYLIE. She will make sure you end up in a place you like in the right neighborhood for YOU.

From the first day that my colleague and I signed up for Casa Azul PT services and spoke with Kylie Adamec,
it was clear that we had made the right choice.
Kylie took the time to meet with us from across time zones (I live in the western US) and to fully explain the process of finding a rental apartment in Lisbon.
She was kind, professional and transparent in describing what was included in the Casa Azul PT pricing and how best to benefit from the process of searching for a place using links and videos sent to us. Kylie went out of her way to accommodate our highly specific requests and suggestions. She even took time over the holidays to go to see places that might work for us and took videos (though often a bit narrow in frame- ask for horizontal videos!) that helped us to rule out what didn't work. When one of us offered critiques or asked her to change her approach, Kylie was exceptionally generous in accepting and even appreciating our feedback. The apartment we found was wonderful and so beyond our expectations that it was difficult to believe it when the offer we made (followed by counteroffer and fast-paced negotiations expertly guided by Kylie) was accepted! As an older and queer-identified American woman, I was hesitant to entrust this process to just anyone. Kylie was open and welcoming to all of our identities and specific needs. Caveat: some of the listings she provided were less than ideal, but with lots of very clear feedback from both of us, she honed the search and allowed us to take the lead when we found our own listings online. We will be hosting her soon at our new place in Lisbon! Highly recommend Casa Azul PT and Kylie Adamec for excellent customer service, reasonable fees and professionalism/integrity.

Kylie was wonderful to work with. Very organized and efficient. Even though she doesn’t usually work in the Azores she managed to find us a house that is exactly what we were looking for on Pico. We saw a video walk through as well as photos and got a contract for a year. We could not have done this on our own, especially from the US. We highly recommend Kylie and Casa Azul!

I promise you want to work with Kylie. She has been the most helpful person in this entire visa process - much more so than the attorney we hired - and has made us feel so confident in our move. Not only did she find us an amazing apartment and handled the contract, but she also helped with getting the utilities turned on. She met us at the apartment with keys in hand at 8 AM when we came limping in after an international flight with 300 lbs of luggage. I will sing her praises to anyone who will listen!

Kylie was an absolute lifesaver during our move to Portugal. We had no idea where to start with setting up things like internet, water, and electricity, especially since we don’t speak Portuguese. She not only pointed us to the best providers but also took the time to contact them, sort out the contracts, and walk us through every step of the process. Honestly, we couldn’t have done it without her. On top of that, she helped us with so many other little things—car rentals, SIM cards, you name it. She’s super responsive, always friendly, and genuinely cares about making your life easier. If you’re moving to Portugal, working with Kylie is the best decision you’ll make. I first became aware of Kylie Anne when I watched her YouTube videos describing her own process of finding and renting her apartment in Lisbon.

As I started on my own journey to relocate from the US to Portugal I looked deeper into Kylie’s renter’s assistance agency, Casa Azul PT, and was impressed by the positive reviews that she was receiving. I was leaning towards moving to Funchal in Madeira, but still thinking about several areas I liked in Lisbon. When I contacted Kylie at the end of May to see if she knew of anyone offering similar services in Madeira, by pure coincidence she happened to be in Funchal exploring business opportunities.

After a video conference (glitchy on my part, because my camera didn’t work), a few days later, to discuss what I was looking for in terms of location, environment, apartment specifics, budget and timeline, and Kylie explaining how Casa Azul works we sat on the back-burner until August until I fully decided where I wanted to relocate and secured an October VFS appointment for a D7 visa. That’s when Kylie really kicked in to gear. We exchanged information on an almost daily basis about potential apartments and she very quickly narrowed the search down to two great candidates that checked most, if not all, of my requirements. Andre, Kylie’s partner in Madeira, did video walk-throughs of the two apartments on the same day and they both provided me with the information I needed to make a decision. I snagged a great almost-brand new apartment at a price that was below my budget, with a November start date!

Kylie connected me with Tatiana, an attorney to do due diligence and contract review. Kylie also worked over the weekend to nail down some outstanding items with the prospective landlord, making sure we got ahead of other interested parties, then she sent me the final contract for my e-signature. The contract was signed and registered with the authorities August 31, just one month after we seriously started searching.

In summary. I could not have sat here in California and rented an apartment in Madeira, so quickly, so efficiently, so smoothly without Kylie Anne and her partners at Casa Azul.

Kylie delivers exceptional service, provides great communication and holds your hand through what would otherwise be a very stressful process. I cannot recommend Casa Azul highly enough.

Kylie and her partner David made finding an apartment in Lisbon such a seamless and pleasant process. My wife and I had initially planned to be in Lisbon for an in-person apartment hunt ahead of our D7 visa appointment, but working with Kylie allowed us to find just the apartment we were looking for without having to add another long flight to our schedule.

Kylie was absolutely wonderful to work with! When we moved to Portugal our plan was to rent a home for a year in Tavira to allow us the opportunity to compare neighborhoods. Kylie was amazing in that there were not many houses for lease that paralleled our needs in Tavira, but that didn’t stop Kylie! We started working with Kylie to find a place to rent for us and our dog about a month before we arrived in Portugal. Our search area was extensive (somewhere between Porto and Lisbon on the Silver Coast or the Algarve) but she was confident that she could still help us through her network of contacts and she didn't disappoint. Even though she worked mostly with my husband, she always made it a point to include me in every communication and conversation. I particularly liked that she was responsive to questions and provided us prompt updates throughout the home-finding process.
