Plus when I spoke to them Customer Service they still had old details for me even though I DID update them by phone and even sent them my marriage certificate. Not at all happy at all I have money to sort out and I cant access my bank account very angry 😡 totally pissed off with them. Ne had trouble with them before started with them back in 2014/15 been fine until NOW.

Worst bank I’ve ever used by far
Worst bank I’ve ever used by far, had a payment made sent them every bit of tracking I possibly could to prove it got sent and recieved from the buyer and the full conversation, after 3 weeks going round in circles I finally get an answer my account isn’t being opened and I can’t get funds out absolute shambles of a bank. Wouldn’t go anywhere near them

Quite literally the worst bank I have been with. Blocked a payment I received and after I sent them proof of funds they went radio silence no communication and no return emails. Having to call in every few hours to hear the same thing over and over again “ someone will contact you” the same thing over and over again. Still no contact or courtesy to actually reach out. An absolute joke of a bank.

I had a small issue regarding ordering bank giro slips I contacted customer service and a Frederick Wollaston from customer service contacted me in response to my request he was extremely helpful and professional and my issue was resolved very quickly highly recommended

Never heard of these people. Two letters arrived a day apart first with login details, second a day later with a card !
I put both straight in the shredder.
I have no idea where the found my details, and I have never heard of them before.
So now I have to go through all the Identity Theft rigmarole - thanks a lot CardOneBanking !
Edit to add - I emailed them and they have closed the account and blocked my name from any further attempts to open one. The whole process was carried out within an hour with no drama. So thanks for that Cardonebanking.
Now reassessing my online presence and checking passwords. Also FYI, shred any rubbish which may have details printed on them

I myself have used card one money for many many years. Never ever, have any of the staff at any time been ignorant , abusive to myself whilst chatting to them. Stars in our eyes for working hard. Respect due when respect served back. Be polite and respect. Many thanks to card one !

I have my main account at another bank, but I use card one money, for regular direct debits and important spending.
Card one money is an excellent everyday day account, if you don't want any interference, I highly rare them

Went to purchase fuel for my car , card refused 3 times , contacted customer service , yes the card provider has stopped working and the issue is for all of us who have an account , please try later she said , why cant they send a text or email using the same method as the codes we have to load in to make us aware , they're is a problem !!??

Annoying and embarrassing when you want to pay with your card who doesn't work when you have a queue of people beyond you .
This is a Scam
I have never had anything to do with this “bank”, never even heard about them. Out of the blue they sent me a card that I did not apply for. Before I shred it I will be reporting this to the Information Commissioners Office and the Financial Conduct Authority.
After first posting the above on Dec 23rd 2021, I had a response asking me to get in touch. I sent my email address and asked about data subject access. I have heard nothing.

Joke of a bank have held 2 international payments to my account for over 12 days asked me to send contract between me and company pay advice settlements etc. Still not received the funds in to my account. Customer service is a joke !!! Avoid this mob like the plague I am closing account down as soon as payment from them is received. I incorporated a company in uk as non resident and got in touch with them to open a business account wherein kiaren advised me that he will put the application through and charge me gbp55, application will go to underwriting team and they will decide, got a call from manager Kathy who advised that I should have an ATOL certificate to open an account, explained her that ATOL can not be obtained as I am non resident, however they have illogical explanation that I have to get an ATOL certificate and they don't know whether the eligibility is to be a resident in UK, why did they take my application at the first place, the staff should know if he is taking the application of a travel company, what all documents should I have to be eligible. Also I again advised them that we would not be booking a package holiday and would only book a flight only or hotel only ( Atol doesn't come into picture in these case), I again got a call from a lady who advised that coz now i will be dealing in flights only and hotels only so I don't need the atol and they have put it for review again but now they have declined the application not because I don't have ATOL but because of business decision, they are just kidding with customers
Their main agenda is to just put the application through and charge gbp55 and later deny the application coz they may come back with any ridiculous reason which they should inform the Customer at the beginning
