Had a problem with a shipment where the seller wasn't responding. Cardmarket solved it perfectly.
Pro seller and scammer, poor and useless customer service
I ordered a bunch of booster on CardMarket from a « pro seller » upon reception I can see the booster have been altered. All the corners are shrunk and present indentation. I am suspecting someone opened them and resealed them with heat. So I opened just one to see and inside the booster pack I can see heat marks. I send all the evidence to both the seller and the customers service. At first the seller, agrees with me and states that the booster look suspect. Then proceed to backtrack what he says and then accuse me of heating myself the booster pack to get reimbursed. I explained the whole situation to the customer service. Who refused to acknowledge the tempering of the boosters. Even though I posted on multiple TCG forums and everyone agrees that the booster were tempered with. I even tell them, how can the seller accused me of myself heating the booster pack, if they don’t present any mark of heat ?
First time ordering with CardMarket and the last. The customer service is useless and just doesn’t even bother going against the seller and just prefer people getting scammed

Cardmarket helps really good when there is a problem.
I ordered 1 whole case for 1500euro and this was lost by the postmen who signed for me also what also did not look like a sign more like a scrath.
after 2 months and go to the police to report this the seller send me 3 boosterboxes on his own cost.
the post company did not compensate anything.
So cardmarket compensate me some money for a commercial good-will.
Thanks so much again for the good help and hope this never happen again

Buyer on their website for 10 years!
Ive been buying on their website for years having very little issue with sellers. Ive even sold a card myself on here with great succes. Over the 10 years of use I had 6 times an order was incomplete or missing which is a suprisingly low amoubt of times! Either the seller gave a refund or suprisingly cardmarket has given me a refund after reviewing the details. I recommend using their platform for a safe and enjoyable buyer and seller experience!

Flawless support
The card I ordered from a seller was missing. After reporting the case to Cardmarket Support, they - with full attention and dedication - swiftly handled the case. I got a full refund.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart!
I've spent close to 1000 GBP on there!
I've spent close to 1000 GBP on the platform. I have generally had decent experiences but there are some bad sellers and the platform likes to take their side.
My last transaction was a 2 GBP order that never arrived but somehow the customer support team instead of compensating me like previously felt it was the right approach to take the sellers side and be condescending to a well paying customer. So to be clear they think it is fair for someone to pay and not receive the product. It's their implicit official policy as per the customer support agents behaviour. The representative in question is called Max.
I've managed CS teams and this is a typical case of support agent on a power trip messing up the company brand and bottom line.
I wish you all good luck with using the platform. I won't reward this sort of attitude. Shameful.
Great marketplace for cards
Great marketplace for cards. Had an issue with a seller not sending a package, and got great help from the cardmarket support team.
Swift resolution
The post managed to lose a registered letter. Once the post office confirmed the letter was lost cardmarket immediately refunded both me (seller) and the buyer for full lost value.
Untrusty seller and useless support.
Untrusty seller and useless support.
The sellers take no pride in dealing with collectors items. If you buy an item and its damaged, lost, is the wrong one (and that happens alot that you get wrong items) etc.
Then though luck you just lost your money. Better use a real site with buyer protection that isn't all about just taking your money. Support will just be lazy ignorant and don't care about you. They made their money already. Trustee? Fine word but means nothing.
Take your money to a site where you are valued as a customer and got protection from sellers that doesn't hold any standard cause on this site they low effort sellers roam free.
Excellent support
I purchase cards through Cardmarket quite often, and and the end of December it was the first time ever that something went wrong that could not be solved by me and the seller. The cards did not arrive while the delivery company said it did. And the delivery company would not help either of us.
Cardmarket obviously could not magically make the package appear for me, but they helped me perfectly along the way and at the end even offered me a refund of my costs out of goodwill (while they weren't even the one that made this mistake). Excellent service as far as I am concerned.

I am extremely disappointed with Cardmarket’s customer support.
I have had an open support ticket for over three months without any meaningful response or resolution.
This concerns a high-value transaction, which makes the lack of communication even more concerning.
During these three months, I sent only one follow-up message, specifically to avoid spamming or complicating the case. Even then, there was still no response, no update, and no indication that the case was actively being reviewed.
For a platform that facilitates significant financial transactions, this level of support is unacceptable. Sellers are expected to follow strict rules and deadlines, yet when support is needed, those standards do not seem to apply equally.
Having funds tied up for months without communication or transparency is not reasonable. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in Cardmarket’s support system, and based on this, I cannot recommend the platform to others.

DANGEROUS for Sellers: Support is dead, and the Trustee Service is a trap
I have been a user since 2016 with hundreds of positive transactions. I am writing this to warn anyone thinking of selling high-value items here: DON'T DO IT.
The platform has collapsed completely in the last few months.
Support takes 35+ DAYS to reply: I opened a ticket regarding a dispute where a buyer used manipulated photos to claim a partial refund. I waited over a month for Support to mediate. Complete silence.
They punish the victim: After ghosting me for 35 days, an agent finally appeared, blamed ME for the delay (when I was waiting for them!), and unilaterally forced a refund to the scammer.
Extortion tactics: They suspended my account and literally told me: "Pay us the refund amount or stay suspended until January." No discussion, no review of the evidence, just "pay up or get out."
Incompetence with counterfeits: On another order where I received a FAKE card, they took 45 days to answer, asking for "video proof of destruction" a month and a half later. Who keeps a fake card for 45 days waiting for a reply?
Cardmarket has a monopoly in Europe and they know it. They have become arrogant, lazy, and dangerous for sellers. They launch "AI Assistants" while their human support takes months to answer a simple ticket.
Buyer protection failed on damaged high-value card
After many years as a loyal Cardmarket user, this experience has completely changed my perception of the platform.
A Manga Rare card valued at €329 arrived badly damaged because of poor packaging. I followed all procedures, submitted photos and an official DHL damage confirmation, and opened a case immediately.
However, due to an internal mistake, the dispute was closed incorrectly, the order was marked as received without my consent, and the seller was paid. Subsequent attempts to correct this were met with silence or ticket closures without proper review.
The seller did not help resolve the situation, and the Trustee buyer protection I paid for failed to protect me in a clear and well-documented case.
This level of dispute handling is unacceptable for high-value transactions.
UPDATE (Jan 9, 2026): After nearly a month of claiming and admitting an administrative error, Support offered me a partial refund of €100 as a "goodwill gesture." I accepted it to close the case, but I still lost €229. The most concerning part is that the shipment was insured by DHL (DHL Paket) for the full value, but Support refused to process the full insurance claim. The Trustee Service failed to secure the insured value of the shipment.
wrong card
I received the wrong card and the seller never replied to my messages, but Cardmarket’s support team stepped in and handled everything quickly and professionally. Their assistance was fast, attentive, and extremely helpful.
Thank you to the Cardmarket support team for resolving the issue and providing excellent service!
Great Support.
