CanaDream RV - Vancouver Reviews 

I would definitely recommend canadream to anybody who is considering renting a vehicle in Canada. The booking process was easy, any queries that I had they responded to by email within 24 hours. The vehicle was great. There were a couple of tiny issues, there was no clicker to ignite the hob on the gas, we were missing one sheet from the linen pack, also we had a couple of problems with the furnace and the air-conditioning. That said, we had an incredible trip and the process was all very easy with Canadream. For information, we are a family five and we have three teenagers. We hired the biggest vehicle they offer – 33 feet! It was a bit of a shock at first driving it, but it was perfect for our needs.

We rented 2 SVC nearly brand new in July for several weeks. Disregarding the technical perfect conditon of the units we have 3 major issues that leads to a poor rating.
1. The cutlery was exact for 2 people. We asked for some more spoons, knives and forks but this was refused by the staff immediately. During the last 20 years of experiance with renting RVs in Canada, US and Europe we never had such a poor support.
2. During the pick up process the staff refused to share the condition report with us. So we had no chance to understand the already reported damages. We received the damage report a day later by mail. Why such a secret.
3. The units had a different floor plan compared to the examples on the web site. This is in general ok and we had this several times in all the years before. However - this floor plan was a desaster from our point of view. Example: The drawer for the cuttlery that we use several times a day was on floor level. The sink for the washroom was located in the sleeping area.Nogos from our point of view as user.

Disregarding the friendly staff and the professional and fast way during drop off our overall conclusion is not positive.
Maybe this will help to improve and catch up with the competition.

We enjoyed our CanaDream RV rental. Our only negative experience was pulling out the two chairs for which we paid extra and finding one completely broken. We called the office and they were very helpful. They said for us to buy a new chair and they would reimburse us. That's all good, but we had to repack the camper, go to a few stores during rush hour to find a chair. Needless to say, we were not happy. We had been looking forward to a relaxing evening sitting outside. We did get reimbursed for the chair. Besides that, we enjoyed our trip. The staff at the office were all very helpful and friendly.

Great service, my only complaint was the delay in our check in, but the team were great and very apologetic due to circumstances outside of their control. RV was superb, clean and a great space for us all!

Everything was perfect, great vehicle, great staff, fast check in and out. Canadream is a great family!

Service was good check in was easy RV was superb and as a first time RV Camper it was not as difficult as i thought it would be. Staff were great and very polite and answered all my questions. It really was a great holiday for us and would do it again.

When we arrive the Unit we rented was not available; so CanaDream provided us with an upgrade, which was slightky larger and more stressful to drive. As well, our Fridge/Freezer malfunction and the municipal water hook up did not work.The CanaDream staff tried to accommodate us.

We had a great experience with CanaDream and would definitely rent from them again.

The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The motorhome was in good condition, and both the pick-up and return process were quick, easy, and well organized.

There are just a couple of things that could be improved. In our opinion, two leveling blocks should be included as part of the standard equipment, as they are essential when camping.

Also, the water hose supplied with the motorhome was leaking from the beginning. We had to buy a new one during our trip, and unfortunately the cost was not reimbursed.

Overall, we had a wonderful trip and would happily choose CanaDream again.

Very nice trip in total!
The vehicle was very well-sized, very clean, and very tidy. The service was excellent, especially when we had a breakdown; we received outstanding help and were very well looked after during that time. The only drawback, which is why I'm not giving it a perfect score, is the kitchen equipment. Wow, I'd say it's inadequate. It's missing a lot of things you actually need for cooking: only two glasses, two cups, two plates, etc. For two people, I find that very meager. There wasn't a single decent knife, and the kitchen utensils were very limited, with no trash can. It's not what you'd expect. There weren't even a few wine glasses on board.

The Canadream experience is incredible! They have pretty much every imaginable shape, size, and configuration of RV for your travel needs, and do a great job of putting you into a vehicle thar is well maintained and well equipped. Was a great experience dealing with Canadream from start to finish.

We had an amazing time with the RV! It drives very smoothly and is quite spacious. My only suggestions are:
a) I think the dishes should be plastic. Even though the cabinets are sturdy and keep everything from falling out, plastic would feel much safer.
b) I missed having wine glasses! :-)

It was well managed from the beginning thoughout the return of the vehicle.

When we received the RV, the fuel tank was almost empty. (In red)
I asked to feul the RV so we could give it back with a full fuel tank.
That was not possible.
Impossible to give the RV back at the end of our trip without giving more feul back. As we would not take the risk to be out of feul.
By returning the RV, we had to make an appointment. Unfortunately all the free slots where booked before we could do it. (The day of receiving the link),
So we had to pay an extra fee to bring back the RV at 11am, the day that was confirmed. (11am in early when you booked the RV until that day)

Very smooth vehicle takeover and return process, highly standardized and well prepared. Vehicle was clean and ready to go, packed already with all the extras we booked.

over all we had a good experience with CanaDream RV, apart from not getting the RV we thought we had booked
