While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Owner operates fraudulent "shadow" site GPUYard.com

I strongly advise extreme caution when dealing with BytesRack Hosting. The director of this company, Marx Ranaweerage, also operates a fraudulent secondary project called GPUYard.com.

My experience involves a "KYC Trap" scam:

They accept cryptocurrency payments ($251+) without any prior verification.

Once the payment is received, they refuse to provide the service and refuse a refund unless you provide sensitive government ID (Passport/Driving License).

Even when a refund is requested to the source address, they seize the funds indefinitely, claiming "compliance," which is a direct misappropriation of assets.

The deception goes deeper:
While BytesRack claims to be a global company with a US address, they are actually operated from Mirihana, Sri Lanka (Reg # W/103361). They use fraudulent US retail addresses (like Staples stores) to hide their true location on their subsidiary sites.

I have already escalated this matter to the Sri Lanka Police CID (Cyber Crime Division) and the Financial Intelligence Unit. If the management of BytesRack is willing to engage in such deceptive practices through one of their branches (GPUYard/CodeWox), your data and money are not safe with them.

Avoid this provider until they return misappropriated client funds.
