Established in 1993, Burns Pet Nutrition paved the way for healthy pet food with simple, wholesome and hypoallergenic recipes developed by a vet.

Burns was named Britain’s Favourite dog food in Which Consumer Poll 2022, and worked out as the cheapest to feed too!

The delicious, award-winning recipes are designed to meet pets’ needs instead of exceeding them. In 2022, vet and founder, John Burns was awarded an MBE for his impact on pet nutrition in Britain and his charity work in West Wales.

Burns has sold over 3 billion bowls to date and proudly funds community projects since 2006.

Fast forward to today, Burns still supports as many shelters, charities and community projects as possible. As part of the Assisi Pet Care Group, Burns carries on their philosophy of using wholesome and sustainable ingredients to create the award-winning food that pets love.

Prompt response from Burns

I had a problem with a sack of dry dog kibble which I reported via the website contact form. Customer Service responded far more quickly than I expected and the matter was soon resolved. In Burns defence, this was the first time I have been less than satisfied with their dog food since I started using it 5 or 6 years ago.

Both my dogs love their Burns meals

Both my dogs love their Burns meals. The 125ml size has loads of tasty goodness - fish or turkey or,chicken,or lamb with rice and vegetables(you can see) in the meals - no freezer needed.Great human grade nutrition for dogs. We have a subscription(easy to pause or cancel) so we never run out. It was originally invented by a vet(Mr Burns) - he knew what he was talking about 🐶🐾
