Britannia Rescue rescued me

My 2021 Suzuki Swace has always been 100% reliable so when I went to start it and nothing happened but loads of warnings about various things not working I suspected a battery fault. However, the usual work around did not help so I called Britannia Rescue and gave the symptoms. I was at home and so it was not an emergency. About two hours later Mike appeared in a van and without needing further diagnosis attached a power pack and the car started at once. We ran the engine to charge the battery but found that when fully charged it was only 40% full. With that knowledge I was able to obtain a replacement and all is now well. This was excellent service from a man who clearly knew cars inside out. This one event, the only time I have need to use the service, more than justified the annual subscription.

I know this is premedittated but I'm…

I know this is premedittated but I'm going from my expererince of getting information regarding the policy and then buying it, solely on the fact I wanted cover that gave me the option of choosing whether I took my car to a local garage for repair or I could choose my home adress you would be surprised but 99% of breakdown companies DO NOT give you that option you are forced to goto a local garage first. I do not use garages I have a mechanic locally who does the work a lot cheasper and a proper job. I will never pay garage scam prices. I'm so happy I have this cover and found this company yes you can get cover cheaper but this is peace of mind for me and also their reviews speak for themselves

Fabulous service from Britannia Rescue

Fabulous service from Britannia Rescue. First breakdown ever, Natalie who answered the phone was calm (I wasn't!) efficient and fast. Got recovery vehicle that could manage my VW T4 with ease. Very impressed. She made sure the recovery chap knew I was a wheelchair user and that I would be able to get into the recovery vehicle and then rang me back to confirm all was ok. Hopefully won't ever need them again but less stressed than I would have been had Britannia Rescue been not so good. All the shiny stars from me. Excellent service, thankyou

excellent service.

They informed me that my car would be collected within 2 hours; they informed my quite soon after that that there would be another 30 minutes delay and arrived promptly after the agreed time.

Very remote area recovery

Very remote areas. Roads poor. No mobile signal and only got through with help of farmer. Tyre blown out. Expected to be stuck for hours but Britannia arrived just after an hour and took my car over 30 miles to my home. So relieved.

Happy with the overall service

Easy to report my breakdown
Recovery service arrived within the given timeframe which was within 2 hours
Dealt with the problem quickly (required towing)
Better than previous experiences - to some extent helped by where the breakdown occurred close to home and in a quiet side road
Minor issues: driver hadn't been given the precise location just the postcode, they hadn't been told to ring me 20min before arrival and they had been told it was an electrical problem but it was not.

Quick and Efficient Response from Britania

Britania were quick to rescue me from a dangerous bend and kept me informed of their whereabouts at all times. As a lone female, standing away from my vehicle on a country lane I felt very anxious and appreciated receiving regular welfare calls plus a follow up call to make sure I had arrived home safely. The rescue agent was patient and understanding and went above and beyond to get me safely back on the road.
