I tried to join on their website but it would not work. So I then attempted to speak to someone on their number...for days I have been messaging...sending emails...plus have rang at least a dozen times and each time it goes straight to voicemail stating someone would ring me back...I have not had any response whatsoever to all my requests and am.beginning to wonder if this is a genuine company....

Dearth of Borrowers ?
Having spent time looking at the site and satisfying ourselves that there were plenty of interested people in our area we signed up. We then had a few people get in contact, we also got in touch with likely 'dog borrowers' for our small spaniel. Then nothing....we got back in touch with people who had shown interest in meeting our dog but still no responses. This was not just one or two people this was close to 10 people. Not sure what the issue is but we are certainly unsatisfied with our experience to date.

Free kisses and cuddles.
As soon as I registered the doggies in my area appeared on the app, there were even some I recognised!
A few owners contacted me asking for help with their dogs but then I matched with a local dog. This scheme is such a brilliant idea, all the benefits, cuddles, exercise, fresh air without any commitment! I have recommended it to so many people.

This site is such a great idea
I cant have my own dog for a number of reasons. It took a little while - maybe 8 weeks - to make a match but since I met my dog and owner its been wonderful. I love walking Penny and its been so good for my physical and mental health to get out in the countryside with this gorgeous dog.

After a full year of membership
After a full year of membership, I have not had one willing match.
Waste of money.
I recommend reaching out to friends, family and community, it's those that got me through a difficult period when I couldn't walk my dogs.
This service of insurance with an online profile, that you write, will only work if you have willing and active members on your door step registered with borrow my doggy.
For me, my £48 would have been better used elsewhere.

Contacted 3 people, 1 person replied in my 1st day of joining. We exchanged a few texts. I offered the person the opportunity to meet my dog by supplying my name and address. The lady never got back to me.
And borrow my doggy will not refund my £49.99 as we exchanged texts.
0 stars is too good!
Avoid this dog shit company.
No intention of refunding my money.

Wonderful site
This is a lovely, well-run site for
dog owners and borrowers. It’s run on love not money and as a dog lover who has lost her own dog, I find it very rewarding and honoured to be entrusted with someone else’s pet for
a short while and when convenient to me.
With its meet and greet option prior to boarding, it gives you a chance to see if the dog is comfortable and whether a good fit for your home.
All the owners and dogs I have had the good fortune to meet via this site are amazing!
The staff are always available if you have any queries.
Highly recommend to pet loving carers and those looking for dog care.

Complete waste of money. Every borrower I connected with and made plans to meet up with flaked. This is the second time I've tried this service, and the second time was even more of a waste than the first. Avoid, total rip-off!

A success all around.
Through Borrow My Doggie I have met two lovely owners and am walking and spending time with their dogs. Both dogs are well mannered and it was really helpful to photos of dogs and owners first on the website. I have lots of time whereas their owners don't and it is lovely to be able to help people out and enjoy time with theirs dogs. Everyone is a winner.

After my dog recently passed
After my dog recently passed, I really missed having the walks and the company a dog brings into my life.
After some searching online I came across this great website and have met some lovely people; I am now walking two dogs at different times of the week..
Really easy to set up an account; I have opted for a premium membership, which gives greater access to more dogs.
If you are looking to get a dog for the first time or are in a similar to myself; I would definitely recommend this site and the people on it.

Borrow My Doggy is genius. It's as simple as it could possibly be, no bureaucracy to follow, you're just left to connect and make your own arrangements to meet up.
For someone like me, who can't have a dog of my own at the moment, the opportunity to share someone else's dog - and for them to know that their dog is in good hands when they're away or busy - is brilliant.

Invaluable Genuine Service for dogs and their owners
Borrow my doggy is an invaluable service for pet owners who have to go work. My borrower is a lovely genuine lady who takes care of my pooch for a few hours during the day. This reassures me that he’s not on his own and is being cared for and walked by genuine dog lovers, who offer this service voluntarily and without a hefty price tag - in fact, there is no fee to pay except the joining fee (which is worth every penny of its meagre charge). These lovely people are obviously committed dog lovers who do it for the pure love of dogs. I am amazed at their generosity and kindness - so glad I found you! Thank you.

Perfect combination!
Through BorrowMyDoggy we have met and befriended some lovely people who all truly love our dog Willow.
As well as them helping us out when we need a dog sitter, we also help them out by allowing Willow to spend time with them if they want to go for a walk.

I had a really good response, so much so I had to de activate for the time being as I ended up nearly every day with a dog. I have kept a few people that I still take dog for walk mostly when owner is going to be out for the day.
