When I tried to book a $357 roundtrip flight, I was given an error during the transaction process saying the airfare is now above the quoted price, thus the transaction didn't go through. Soon after, I decided to book a similar flight on another airline/website. Come to find out later, the transaction did in fact go through on BookAirFare, and at this point I'm stuck with two flights.

I called BookAirFare in hopes of cancelling the flight and getting a full refund, or at least something close to that. The best they could do was charge be a fresh $75 cancellation, request to cancel my flight with the airline, in which case I would get a $157 dollar refund. Effectively, this means the refund is $82 ($157 - 75), if I'm able to get one at all. Mind you again, this is all because BookAirFare false said my transaction didn't go through originally as I was attempting to make the ticket. Otherwise, I would've known right away my trip was confirmed, not subsequently booked with other airlines, and not ultimately cancelled my flight with BookAirFare.

I had to cancel my flight due to an unexpected event. Cancellation was $50 with credit back. I paid $487.60 for my flight. I just booked a future flight with my credit and they charged me additional $239! The flight on all website is $492. They said i have to pay a flight difference of $104, $125 for rebooking/cancellation fee, $10 agency fee. Totaling in $776.60 for the flight. They are telling me the lowest price is $492 but i have to pay more cause of different class(?) Still economy seat but they said each 10 seats get more and more expensive, but if i booked directly through alaska or different airline, it would be $492. They basically charged me $596 for this flight..... scammers.... never book with them. Any other airline, they will charge you fee and give you credit to rebook, not charge you up the a** when rebooking.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! I have had the most positive experience with Bookairfare.com in making travel arrangements from the U.S. to Australia. We had a problem with our tickets, which was my fault, and Herman White walked me through making changes that were critical to our being able to make the trip. He was patient, respectful, considerate, and worked tirelessly to get everything corrected and made right for us. I give Bookairfare.com -- and Herman White -- the highest recommendation possible. I had a very good experience with Bookairfare. The customer service is really good. The customer service representative Herman really did a great job by explaining everything and helped me a lot in chosing the best deal. They really care about their customers.

Mr Herman was a wonderful agent. he got me a perfect itinerary, I will like to patronise this travel agent again in future. He dealt with my booking like I am an old customer.

Don't trust them - your booking won't work!

Used Bookairfare to book a flight in 2 months time to Barcelona and received a confirmation e-mail.

A day later received another e-mail stating due to unstated 'technical issues' on their side the booking was cancelled, and now a booking for the same flights will be +£90 more.

In the time being it is now impossible to book the flights at the original price anywhere else. Ridiculous that this company can exist to scam travelers and penalise them for their own faults- wish I had read Trustpilot first.

Very helpful in finding the cheapest flight.

There was a lot of misunderstanding and confusion regarding my ticket charge. However apart from one person rest all of the associates were very helpful and courteous including Alden, Jackson, Sebastian and Asher.

Only negative thing is they said they will call back and no one did. It was I who had to make contacts with the desk.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - they are total scammers. We are now in October and no refund has been issued. "Management" are disgraceful. They say they will call you back take down your name and number and no call is ever returned. You email the so called "Management" and they are even too busy to respond to the email. So what does one do with a company like this? Where "Management" have promised a refund which has been recorded and they don't honour it? They basically expect the customer to eventually give up and this is possibly how they make some extra cash!!! AVOID..
