There is a problem with the stitching and stuffing on one arm of the couch and the team didn't call us the day before delivery. We are trying to work with Bolia to resolve it. We love the color and style so we are hoping for a good result. I wish Bolia gave the option that they will stain seal the furniture before it comes to the customer.

From the very good counseling and service at the Store in Lucerne to on time delivery, everything worked incredibly well, like promised. The Recover couch we ordered is amazing. It looks awesome in our home and even our dog likes it a lot. We are very happy with everything and the process involved.

Furniture is beautiful and it seems as in the shop and catalogue. However I got mine with some defects, sent a complaint right after on 28.06 to zserviceclientele and have not received any feedback since then (today is 6.07).

I love my new couch and table however being able to reach customer service or the shop itself is horrendous. Luckily i live close to the shop and had to go there personally but without a trip there it was impossible to get through to anyone. very, very disappointed in their service. in fact, 2 weeks after purchasing my products, i received an email from customer service apologizing that the products were no longer available... of course they weren’t available - I had already bought them! such a shame really, because the products themselves are really nice. When I received the delivery, there were 2 items missing, but they did fix that within the hour. The lady in the shop was helpful and fast and the delivery people were also helpful, fast and friendly.

Instead of making subjective comments on my experience, I decided to let the facts speak. I regret for not having taken previous negative reviews seriously and hope to help anyone thinking about making a purchase at Bolia. So here is the story of my purchase of a sofa at Bolia:
- On 28.11.2020 I ordered a Sepia sofa at Bolia Zurich.
- On 20.01.2021 I received my sofa, but the sofa hat a defect and some scratches at its wooden frame.
- On 21.01.2021 I reported the issue including pictures.
- On 12.02.2021 I received an answer from Bolia with two options, one was the replacement of the wooden frame, which I selected. I contacted Bolia via e-mail and asked if the wooden frame would get repaired at our place, as I didn't want the sofa to be picked up and us not having some place to sit for several weeks. I never received an answer to this e-mail.
- On 02.03.2021 I contacted Bolia Customer Care as I hadn’t heard from them, and was offered a new sofa as a replacement for the sofa with the defective frame. I accepted the offer.
- On the same day, I received the e-mail with the new sofa order. I noticed there was a mistake in the color of the wooden frame in the new order, and therefore I contacted Bolia again to correct it. The sofa would be delivered on 31.03.2021.
- On 26.03.2021 I received an e-mail from Bolia with a change in the delivery date. New date: 07.04.2021
- On 29.03.2021 I received an SMS from Planzer (the transporter) with the info that the sofa would be delivered on 31.03.2021, between 09:30 and 11:30. I contacted Bolia and asked which of the two delivery dates was correct, and I was told that the transporter has the right information.
- On 31.03.2021, I was expecting to receive the sofa, which did not happen. I contacted Planzer, who told me that they would clarify it and call me back, which never happened.
- On 07.04.2021, I finally received my sofa. Unfortunately, this was a big disappointment, because the sofa had a feather filling, although it was stated in the order that it should be foam (same as in the initial order). Planzer suggested that we kept the old pillows (foam), which we would have accepted, but:
1. The sofa had a different depth dimension than my initial sofa!
2. The open end of the sofa has a pillow that is fixed / sawn to the sofa, and would be feather.
Based on the above, we kept the first sofa.
- On 15.04.2021, I contacted Bolia Customer Care to discuss about the situation of the 2nd sofa. I was reassured that we would find a solution. I was also told that the sofa model changed in the meantime and no longer offers the foam option or the different sitting depth options and that the Bolia colleague who made the order was probably not aware of that.
- On 28.04.2021, once again I contacted Bolia Customer Care and asked for the current status of my case. I was told that the colleague from Customer Care probably did not address the issue. I was asked, similarly to the previous call, whether a price reduction would be an option for me. I was reassured, once again, that my case would be taken care of immediately. On the same day I received a standard e-mail by Bolia, asking me to provide them photos! Photos of what? Of the first sofa, which I had already sent to them, or of the second sofa, which should be back at Bolia by now?
- I replied with an e-mail, describing the whole story once again, similarly to this review, and I haven’t heard from them since then.
Overall, what was thought to be the purchase of a sofa "manufactured by some of Europe's best manufacturers, thoroughly tested by Bureau Veritas in Germany", as mentioned on Bolia’s website, turned to be a huge trouble. Nobody would pay for a sofa in Bolia's price range to face a situation like this. No design and no quality of materials can compensate for that.

I ordered Scandinavian sofa-bed, however the mattress was not delivered to me. I contacted contact center, however still no feedback where is my mattress and when it will be delivered. Regarding the sofa itself, the fabric sitting a bit loose on the pillow. Also you falling through when you sitting, not very comfortable. maybe it’s because mattress is not inside yet...

I have been trying to contact them via email for over a week now, with no resolution in sight. I've contacted them now at their customer service (+45) 88 96 02 26, and you end up waiting on hold for and unable to speak anyone.

The materials arrived damaged, we immediately reported this. To date we have not received any feedback, aside from, please wait we are busy. After spending CHF2000 on an on-line premium product the after sales service is VERY disappointing . We remain hopeful things will be sorted.

I reserved some items, paid it and was suppose to collect from the shop. On arrival they told me the items were not there anymore. That is really disappointing and i wasn't given any notice until i arrive to the shop

We bought a sofa that was delivered about 2 months ago, Noora model. In just 10 days the sofa showed a very "wavy" surface in every cushion, even after we straighten the fabric and the inside by hand after every use. Considering the value invested, we expected it to look like the sofa on the catalog for at least 5 years. Here is the sequence of complaints:
- 1st email sent to customer service with photo: "you are supposed to rearrange the inside of the cushions every day, to look good" (we already did that)
- Complaint to the sales person: "you were advised that you needed to straighten the cushions. Probably it was the fabric that you chose to cover the sofa. We have not received other complaints, but you have the right to be unhappy. Try to connect again with customer service"
- Call to customer service: "yes, looking at the photos you sent us I can see this is not normal. I will check internally and come back to you"
- 2 weeks later, call customer service again: after them dropping the call three times, finally someone said they would call us back in 15 minutes. 24 hours have passed and no calls received.
We are very unhappy with the sofa and customer service. Did not expect to have issues with it in such short time and receive this type of service.
