I wouldn’t recommend this store
It is a small company with very poor return policies — good luck trying to resolve an issue if something goes wrong. The sizing does not match Australian standards, and the fabric looks quite different from the images online (the quality is also very poor). Disappointing experience overall.

It was perfect!
My other baby shower dress was too big. I had never bought anything let alone known about Bodycon, I goggled shoulder lace dresses and their website came up. I was absolutely taking a risk-with size, shipping..but it got delivered on the morning of my baby shower and it FIT! I got lots of compliments and plan to wear for my maternity shoot. 8 months pregnant and I bought a M, 5’7, 177lbs. Some things JUST work out! All the glory to Jesus! Thanks Bodycon!!!

I have just received two dresses that I have ordered for a wedding and they are too small. Not a problem, will return. It’s not allowing me to do so and only giving me store credit option. These dresses were not as I am aware of on sale and it makes no sense as to why I cannot get my money back. I am appalled by this set up and I feel quite sick at the thought of spending money on two dresses that do not fit me!!!

Not a UK company!!
It needs to be clearer that it is not a UK company and in fact from Australia. I am still waiting on items ordered 2 weeks ago and I have wedding to attend in 2 days! Very likely that going to have to find something else to wear to the event. I might also be liable for customs fee which is annoying. Very inconvenient.
I want my money back!!! Not store credit. This company is very deceptive. Please avoid!!!

I ordered a medium paid in full then received an email stating the medium was out of stock. It was offered the small decided to try the small and asked if it could be rushed they did not grant my wish. I received the dress and it’s too small the website should have never reflected the medium available nor allow me to order a medium. I asked for a refund but instead they’re giving me a gift card, but I’d rather have my money back. Very disappointed however the dress is exactly like the picture and the quality is great.

Shoddy workmanship
I was very interested to read the last customers review about Bodycon Collections not allowing refunds on sale items and as they correctly point out the majority of their dresses are sale items and they are using this as a way to not refund Customers their money. This is exactly what is happening to me too.
I have been in a running dispute with them as I ordered two identical dresses, just in different colours (sale items) one of the dresses fit and the other dress ran a INCH narrower.
I also got a very prompt and charming response to my complaint and was asked to send photos of the dresses (one laid on top of the other) to show the discrepancy in size which I did and was assured this would be brought up with their warehouse and the problem would be resolved.
The dress was returned with all of our correspondence and photos as instructed.
I have now been informed they do not do exchanges and they have also deducted from my credit note the £12.95 return delivery even though the dress is obviously faulty I am being penalized for it! However, I am reading on other complaints they are saying they send a returns label which is insinuating they pay the return postage.
In England, a company can offer a credit note instead of a refund in specific situations, primarily when the customer is returning goods for reasons other than being faulty or not as described. However, if a consumer is entitled to a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or Consumer Contracts Regulations, the company cannot force them to accept a credit note. Therefore, you should not be selling your collection to customers in England as your sizing is definitely faulty.
My question to Elle was how would this problem now be resolved as I was being expected to pay another £12.95 to order the same dress again and if the dress wasn’t being checked, (as I was led to believe it would be) the replacement dress could be exactly the same and I would be in exactly the same position, having to return the dress and losing another £12.95….how can that be fair?
To date my last email asking these questions has just been ignored. So I would have to be in agreement with the previous customer in that they are fraudulently holding onto your money. My advice would be to steer well clear.

Thank you so much for your AI response, but this clearly isn’t true. A replacement has not been organised for me and also your remark about referencing your measurement chart, what’s the point in that, my measurements fall within your Small range and one dress fits and other dress doesn’t. So the sizing chart is irrelevant, which I note other customers are also commenting on sizing issues, so this is an ongoing issue that you have not resolved.
As stated before you are selling faulty goods and should not be shipping your items to England, you are not adhering to our Consumers Act.

Dress was late and quality was mediocre for price.
I received the dress maybe 1-2 weeks after the intended timeline and it didn’t look like the pictures. The quality was much worse and for having spent over 100$, I was quite disappointed. I was hoping to return the dress but the refund policy won’t allow me to get my money back (only store credit) because the item was on sale. Typically this would be ok, but so many items on the website are on sale that this rule almost seems like a way to prevent customers from getting their money back. Lastly, the delay on delivery made it too late for me to get a new dress in time for my event. The only reason why I gave 2 stars was because the company replied quickly when I emailed about an update on my package’s delivery.

Nightmare Return Process
Nightmare Return Process – Took 6 Weeks for a Refund on a Faulty Item
The clothes on the website seem nice, but my experience with Bodycon Collection was unnecessarily stressful and disappointing.
I ordered one dress which arrived faulty, and from 23rd February to 10th April, I was stuck in an exhausting back-and-forth just to get a refund. The communication was vague, the return process was slow and unclear, and I had to follow up multiple times just to receive what I was rightfully owed.
They initially refunded me only part of the amount—even though the item was faulty—and it was only after I referenced UK consumer rights and stayed consistent in my follow-ups that they escalated the refund and returned the full amount.
It genuinely felt like they did everything possible to delay the process. The back and forth was unnecessary, and at no point did I feel they took full accountability for the hassle.
Eventually, I received my full refund, but I won't be ordering again. If you're considering shopping here, be prepared to fight for your customer rights if anything goes wrong.

Thank you for your quick response—it's appreciated, especially considering how much longer it took to receive that level of communication during the actual returns process. It does feel as though reviews are prioritised over customer service, which is something I hope improves going forward.
To clarify, I initially requested a refund for a faulty item, not a replacement. However, a new dress was sent out without my agreement, and I was then expected to wait even longer before I could begin the return process. The experience became unnecessarily drawn out—something that could have been quick and simple.
It took consistent follow-up on my part, including referencing UK consumer rights, before the correct refund was issued. While I acknowledge the refund was eventually processed, I feel it only happened due to my persistence.
I’m sharing my experience not to be negative, but to shed light on areas that clearly need improvement. I truly hope this feedback helps drive better support for future customers.
