Worst customer service ever
Worst customer service ever. Do not order anything online. I have been trying to do a return for over a week emailed several times cause ever time I try to print out return label it says ITS NOT YOU ITS US. Birkenstock won’t return emails or calls. Horrible experience
Birkenstocks has ZERO costumer service…
Birkenstocks has ZERO costumer service - their phone line doesn't exist, don't waste your time waiting on a call, email or texting features are also obsolete -their business model is very archaic where you have to call a line (no one answers) to exchange for size?! and there is no answer - who does that?! there are other brands just like theirs -
Rigid policies and system limitations
The product quality from Birkenstock is excellent. The shoes themselves are comfortable, well made, and fully live up to the brand reputation. I have nothing negative to say about the product.
That said, I am deeply surprised and disappointed by the customer service experience. Due to very rigid policies and system limitations, I was not able to exchange an unused, brand-new pair that was the wrong size. The shoes were a Christmas gift and only opened after Christmas, but no flexibility was possible.
It is unfortunate that the service and internal systems do not match the high quality of the products. A brand at this level should be able to offer customer service that reflects the value of what they sell.
Update. Still no response from customer support after nearly a month. I can’t complain about the service as it is non existent.
Super-Birki’s Suck
I love Birkenstocks, but the super-birki clogs wore out after a year of use. The whole shoe cracked right through the sole of the shoe. The replaceable insole had no purpose at all as the clog itself just fell apart. Will not buy again. Was told by customer service that only a year of use is to be expected.
Cheap materials
I’ve had these Birkenstocks for just a few months, and they’re already falling apart. That’s unacceptable for a brand that built its reputation on durability and quality. I’ve owned Birkenstocks in the past that lasted for years, so this is a real letdown. Something has clearly changed, whether it’s cheaper materials or outsourced manufacturing, but the quality is nowhere near what it was 10 years ago. Truly disappointing and not worth the price anymore.

Ordered shoes in plenty of time to ship for Christmas. I realized on 23rd that they've never shipped. Contact customer service. Useless. No i'm sorry your order was delayed here's a discount or anything. Just a oh yeah we are shocked at the delays too. I'll never buy a product from this company again. Too many options to spend money. Shocking delivery and customer service experience
Product ordered and delivery paid for As per invoice this was dispatched via Evri on a signature delivery
As usual Evri didn’t bother to wait to see if anyone was in and left a very expensive item on the door step in full view of passers by, luckily we were in a retrieved the item
I contacted Birkenstock to be told that as they had delivered to the address , that they would not refund the delivery charge
I quoted the Evri signature service process which was to deliver with an open front door , or strangely enough to deliver to a safe place , none of which Evri did, still will not refund the carriage charge
I don’t know which is worse , Evri’s service or Birkenstocks arrogance in not accepting any responsibility and admitting that the delivery was not as acceptable and not what i paid for

My Birkenstock sandals came apart on…
My Birkenstock sandals came apart on the 1st December. I contacted Birkenstock and explained the issue. After some communication they offered to send me a replacement part. That was over three weeks ago and still I have not received it yet. And Birkenstock have stopped responding to my emails at all. Not good enough Birkenstock!
Appliance refund delays on simple returns
The products are okay albeit very pricey,but, Birkenstocks customer service where refunds are concerned, is appealing and way below the industry average. 3 weeks after a simple return, im still awaiting my refund. Unacceptable in age of instant transfers. I am now thinking they must have severe cash flow issues and thus need to hang to customer money for as long as they dare. I won't buy again.

I placed an order for three pairs on 3 December, intended as Christmas gifts.
On 4 December, I received a notification from UPS stating that the parcel was scheduled for delivery before 5:00 p.m. on 5 December. After that, I received no further updates.
On 9 December, I contacted Birkenstock customer service to request an update regarding the delivery status. I was informed that the matter would be investigated and that I would be contacted. No follow-up was provided.
As I had still received no information, I contacted customer service again on 16 December, requesting clear confirmation of whether and when the parcel would be delivered, and stating that otherwise I expected the purchase to be refunded. Again, I received no response.
On 17 December, I called customer service once more and asked for an explanation. The representative was unable to provide one and stated that if the parcel had not been delivered by now, it would not be delivered at all. I was therefore informed that my credit card would be refunded.
What I find particularly concerning is that no one contacted me proactively at any point. I was required to repeatedly reach out in order to obtain any information or resolution. This has happened to me before, and it suggests a lack of control over the delivery chain as well as a level of customer support that leaves much to be desired.

Ordered twice now, both times order went missing between dispatch and shipment. Customer Service process pathetic. Can't reissue order have to get a refund and then repurchase. Once, Twice, three times, no thank you. Don't bother with this company!

Ordered boots in black friday sale. They were faulty,one was shiny finish and the other dull. Contacted customer service as I wanted to reorder but price had gone back up and they wouldn't give me the original price until they received return, despite agreeing with me as per photos they were faulty.There is low stock now so they will be sold out by the time they get my return. Bought a pair of Boston clogs whilst on holiday in Delhi. Wore them for 2 hours the next day when a button broke. I had already left Delhi on a tour. I emailed Birkenstock customer service to be told I need to return them to the shop. I explained twice that I’m on a tour and would not be going back to Delhi but told tough luck! Poor quality. Do not buy from a shop, buy online. Quality is very poor. Very disappointing.
