I had a wonderful experience…

I had a wonderful experience with the Vet Dr Julia and her assistant . My cat was spared having to get in the car to go to the vet All of my questions and concerns were thoroughly addressed, and I received valuable advice about how to care for my pet. I highly recommend their services.

The Vet and Vet tech were amazing

The Vet and Vet tech were amazing, completely understanding my unsocialized, semi-feral cats, not wanting to do anything to upset them during the visit. They came up with a plan, provided the items for me to try to resolve the issue, and will come back if necessary. It was not as expensive as I expected either! I will be recommending them to all pet owners I know.

Bettervet not a good match

I opted for a mobile vet knowing the cost is 2-3 times the cost of a local office visit because I thought it would be less stressful for my pets. I have a 12 yo husky who Is starting to have hip problems. She loves people, is gentle with children. And has a sweet disposition.

Dr y and her assistant could not provide services because my dog was anxious around them. Even with trazodone and a muzzle they couldn't draw blood

The first visit I got flea treatment for both pets. For my husky I got ear medication, cleaner, 30 trazodone, 10 rimadyl for about $800.

Second visit I had to sedate my dog. When the team arrived i had to muzzle her. The assistant tried to pick her up and then laid on her Dr y was not able to draw blood. This cost $178 even though no services were rendered. Dr y told me we aren't a good match. We need a clinic where our dog can be rendered unconscious.

I agree they're not a good match. I was surprised to learn what a pet friendly visit means. Your pet must be docile or they leave . I believe the 5 minutes it took to scare my sweet husky was the most profitable.

We’ll look for a local independent vet.

My Sincere Thanks to our Better Vet Team

The best thing about our Better Vet team is that they really care. It seems to be more than a job to them. The visit is over, but the vet still calls with suggestions and advice. (We need this kind of help!)
The visit itself went well. The vet and assistant are very flexible and experienced. They are used to adverse conditions. My cat is hostile and very afraid of strangers, but they have techniques and the determination to counter such situations. They work fast, but with sensitivity. They are true professionals!

We love the better vet

We love better vet. My dog is eternally traumatized by clinic experiences and this is a life changer for us. The visit was virtually stress free, the vet crew only did what needed to be done without jacking up the fees like they do in most clinics. They were super gentle and kind to my dog, she even did the zoomies after they left. Never switching to a traditional vet again.

Everything was perfect

Everything was perfect. I was nervous about my cat being seen by vets because he is a rescue from the streets and he can be aggressive and has anxiety. They were so kind and held him in such a perfect way they only his head was accessible. He growled the entire visit but he let the vet check him out and listen to his heart and lungs and even was ok for the shot he eventually needed. I was very happy with how good he was and how professional the vets were. Having a home visit allowed me not to have to push him into a cat carrier which would have been traumatic for him, being in a clinic with all the other animals and smells would have also been traumatic for him. He could run off into his own space when the visit was over and it lessened how much he had to go through. I will absolutely use this service again, not just for the convenience but for the peace of mind it had for my cat and me.

Excellent experience with BetterVet

The BetterVet team that came for my cat's annual wellness appointment was excellent! They took the time to get to know my cat before rushing in to the exam and vaccines which was really important for a not stressful experience for my cat. I would highly recommend them!

Be Careful! Better Vet is NOT BETTER

I, unfortunately, cannot recommend Better Vet. I was not informed that the provider would be unable to prescribe anything for a virtual visit, which we just needed antibiotics. The provider was so rude, unhelpful, condescending, and tried to force onto me the “Better Vet Products”, as that seems to be the whole plan. The miscommunication was one thing, but the providers agfeessive & spicy demeanor & behaviors is what pushed me over the edge. I contacted the customer service line & the individual who answered the phone was clueless & help less. She was like a dispatcher & xouldnt do anything nor could she direct me to someone who could. Just a very badly ran & mismanaged quick attempt at a cash grab. Go to a real vet for the same price & receive actual care, you’ve been warned. Good luck all!

Great experience

Great experience. Both vets were friendly and knowledgeable. They arrived during the window I was given. Earlier than I thought it would be. I was able to get the pills and the drops from them as well. Not having to put my cat in the car and take him to a strange place he doesn’t know is also a huge benefit. 10/10 would recommend

The vet who attended was VERY thorough…

The vet who attended was VERY thorough and informative. She was very professional and friendly. Overall, a very good choice for a vet visit. I don't agree with having to order my pet's medication through Chewy. They have not yet shipped the order and it may still take an additional 3 days or more to get here.

I recently moved to San Diego

I recently moved to San Diego, and in May I adopted a pair of Male Cats. I was worried about my cat named Tatis (Padre fan), and found BetterVet would come to the house. I was impressed that they came the very next day. My cat initially was extremely anxious, but Dr. Tranh, and Cameron were great in petting and calming his. The best news was they did give him a clean bill of health. In the future, I will use them again, since driving the kittens would have been far more stressful. Overall it was a great experience.

Absolutely best for shy pets

BetterVet has been the best solution for my timid cat. The veterenians and the technicians have all been wonderful, both in Massachusetts and in New Jersey. They know how to approach a shy cat. They ask and answer thoroughly. They’re super-equipped when they arrive. And the virtual option is also great for certain problems. The customer service team has also been caring and accommodating.

Great exp

My husky malamute suddenly had difficulty with his bag legs and I could not get him into the car to take him to the vet. I was able to get a quick televisit. The vet was very kind and thorough. He watched him walk and talked me through a plan to get his inflammation down which is working. Very kind and very thorough

Very convenient

Very convenient, thorough and precise. Audrey was a bit nervous but the doctor and attendant were able to coax her into some calmness so they could complete the check-up.
