Poor Customer Service for a Very Simple Situation

I was looking to place two orders. I signed up for the marketing to receive the first time customer discount. They were also having a sale for 20% off stainless steel. I intended to place two separate orders to get 15% off one order and then 20% of the other. I accidentally placed the order for all three items. Since it's the weekend, I couldn't get help immediately. I called on Monday morning and the woman said they wouldn't be able to help because the first order couldn't be cancelled. She also said that I wouldn't be able to use the welcome discount since it wasn't my first order.

The discount was showing in my cart, so I placed the order so that she could see it was allowing me to use it. She then decided to call her supervisor, who both decided this was not worth helping bc when she came back she said that none of my orders could be cancelled and that I would have to return what I didn't want. EVEN THE ONE I PLACED ON THE PHONE?? I LITERALLY JUST PLACED IT. That doesn't check out.

All of this for literally $5.00, I even asked if she could just cancel the order it worked on, and just refund the $5.00 to my account. That is what the solution should have been from the beginning. Not to have to argue why I deserve a $5.00 discount.

If this is not rectified, I will absolutely return everything on principle alone bc this is ridiculous. Customer Service is not difficult.

You need a better team. I don't know if this is greed or incompetence.

Don't order from BENTGO directly- Use a retailer

If you order their products, don't order them directly from the company. Their return policy is a nightmare and hassle-- you're better off buying their products from a retailer with a reasonable practice for returning items.

Changed the color of the box I ordered…

Had issue with them sending wrong color of box I ordered, after leaving a neg review they provided a number I could call and the representative seemed to be helpful and stated that they would send a box in the correct color. Apparently, after several more weeks, it turns out their website is just trash and they falsely advertise what colors are available. I regret purchasing. Don't trust ANYTHING on their website.

Horrendous

Horrendous. I bought a lunchbox on Amazon Prime day so got a good deal and originally showed shipping would be right away. After a week I realized I never received it so I checked the status update and it just said order received. After much much spent contacting Amazon and then Bentgo directly they said it would possibly shipping end of August, over a month and a half after ordered. This would be weeks after my son starts school! When I checked on amazon again it showed if I ordered full price I could receive it same day! Absolute scam, all I can figure is anyone who ordered on sale on prime day was being "punished" into canceling their orders because i such long shipping and made to reorder full price. I canceled my order and don't think ill be reordering for $12 more.

Mostly great

The kids lunch box is a bit heavy and the sauce cups are super small. Two sauce cups are needed for one serving of a small portion. The freezer plate and lunch box bag are great!

Delay in order

I live in Brazil, I arrived in Puerto Rico on February 15 and I'm returning to Brazil today, February 19, due to the date of purchase and the delivery time indicated on the website, I believed that the order would arrive on time, but unfortunately there was a delay on the part of the carrier, so much so that the last update of the tracking was on February 08, so I ask you to check the possibility of reimbursing me due to the delay, I will not be able to return the item since my flight is today, February 19 at 17:45. I bought my product on 31 January iI want my money back

Great products, terrible direct fullfillment

Great products, but do not buy on their website - try Costco or Target. I got my money back, luckily, but would rather have not spent the last few weeks constantly following up on shipping status, emailing customer service, and using makeshift lunch boxes for my kids while waiting for Bentgo. Expected delivery time 3w from order date, not a Mom-friendly experience.

Poor customer service and slow shipping

Have yet to get the product as they have been backed up for weeks and we ordered weeks before school started. Called customer service after not getting the product within 10 business days, as site stated, and customer service rep was cold, unapologetic and only offered a refund for the inconvenience and 30 percent off the next order. Next order? Why would we order agin from a company that not only does not keep its word but also failed to communicate any shipping delay and then employs poor customer service. I can only imagine the reliability of the product if the company is run this poorly! Will not order again.

Took longer to ship than advertised

Took longer to ship than advertised. I ended up ordering the exact same products on Amazon and got them in 2 days because we needed them for school. No online return feature and they deduct for return shipping. You are better off buying from the Bentgo Amazon store. Bento box is really cute, size of the lunch bag doesn't really fit the box but we use the extra space to pack snacks. My child thinks its cute and we like the shoulder strap a lot. All in all we love the product, but would not order from the website again.
