This is a very nice apartment. On RC, so some street noise, but over all very nice. We had one question to resolve and the customer service was responsive.

Belvilla cancelled my booking (ref: 1B5E5RP3) three weeks before departure — a trip April 25–May 2 — citing "operational reasons." The real reason: the resort had been bankrupt since October 2025. Belvilla knew, or should have known, for six months and said nothing. I had to rebook at short notice at approximately €500 extra cost.
After several rounds of chasing, their final compensation offer is a 20% discount on a future Belvilla booking. Let that sink in: their response to failing me on this booking is an incentive to book with them again. They never once offered to help me find alternative accommodation — something a competent travel company could actually have done. Instead, I was left to sort it out myself at significant extra cost.
I asked for €300 in direct compensation — a fraction of my actual loss. They declined, citing "policies designed to ensure fairness and consistency." Apparently their policies are designed to ensure "fairness" for Belvilla, not customers.
If something goes wrong with your Belvilla booking, expect slow responses, ignored questions, and a company that hides behind policy rather than taking responsibility. Book elsewhere.

They happily took over €1200 Euros from me when the property already had people staying in it. Its taken weeks to finally get a refund, and when I do, they only refunded me 20%???
I escalated the issue with PayPal who I paid with and they're arguing I cancelled my booking.
Financially it has ruined me as I had to borrow a friends credit card to book another accommodation last minute for a group trip.
I’m honestly lost for words how poor they have been and how they think its acceptable to refund me 20% for a booking THEY CANCELLED THEMSELVES??

Lots of unclarity in the booking process. Deposit was included in the price but had to be paid to a different account for instance. In the weeks leading up to the stay, I got emails from at least 5 different adresses, sometimes containing conflicting information and/or unsafe links. Very confusing and slightly unprofessional.

1)we booked ( specially over emails exchange & phone ) for 2 bungalows close to each other . What we got is two bungalows 15 min away from each other .
2) many ants everywhere insode the bungalow.
3) we arrived late in the evening ( at midnight) . We could not enter with the car . We had to each long distance with two small kids ,luggage and heavy rain. Emergency call at the entrance did not respond .

Apartment does not have closets or drawers to put clothes. One “closet” has small shelves. The other is for utilities. One shower is moldy and the fan does not work. The door sills are covered in dust. Clothes washer is in the hallway to share with three other apartments. Economical, easy walk to Eiffel Tower, RER, metro, and grocery.

The property is very well located in an excellent area for reasonable restaurants that were outstanding. Close to grocery stores , Boulangeries , Patisseries and wine merchants. It is within walking distance to most major sites so that was a big bonus.

We had a 6 night stay. Location and size are top notch, the view is incredible. Lots of shopping and restaurants within a short walk, and the church across the street is lovely. The furniture is beat up, the kitchen has no cutting board or full sized kitchen knife for meal preparation. There were two single use pouches of shower gel provided, no shampoo. There were no paper towels and a single trash bag was provided. There is a clothes washer but no drying rack so we had to use the bed frame and the coat hanger to dry our clothes, of which the hanger only had two normal sized hangers and the rest were kid sized. Neither the front door nor the bathroom door open all the way, they scrape the floor about a 3rd of the way open. Great place with room to improve.

Booked and paid for last october to arrive at hotel to be informed he hadnt been paid. Spent my whole holiday emailing and calling people to try sort. Shocking customer service. EXPEDIA took no responsiblity even though i did booking through them. Vrbo and belvilla also shocking customer service.they saw nothing wrong with having my money and not paying my host. You all have lost a very good customer.
